This exhaustive list is like a Proverb. I like the reference to 'the weary' the best.

All who name the name of Christ should read the Bible.

Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

Thread Title
Who should read the Bible?

All can read---- few will Spiritually understand what they are reading ----

What good is for those who have their hearts hardened toward God to read the Bible ------it profits them nothing -----as a matter of fact many unbelievers say the Bible to be full of incest -----polygamy ---and a hateful God who kills people including children ------they have no understanding of who God is and why He does what He does -----

God has to draw the person and open the person's heart and mind to want to read His Word - only then does it profit the person ---to read the Bible -----

1 Corinthians 2
AMP
But the natural [unbelieving] man does not accept the things [the teachings and revelations] of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness [absurd and illogical] to him; and he is incapable of understanding them, because they are spiritually discerned and appreciated, [and he is unqualified to judge spiritual matters]

I'd say stick with Psalms.

And for the Mercenaries of God....stay with the 18th Psalm.

Faith comes by hearing....Ive never meant anyone that has repented and given their self to the Christ out of reading.
In fact wasnt it phillip that asked the Ethiopian did he understand what he was reading?
Now i fully agree that all should but i dont think it benifits a unregenerate but would cause more confusion.
Just saying.....could be wrong.....wont be the first time🙄🙄🤔

God is not the author of confusion and He is willing to give anyone adequate understanding who truly seeks.

Isaiah 55:1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Berean Study Bible
There is no one who understands, no one who seeks God.

Berean Literal Bible
there is none understanding; there is none seeking after God.

King James Bible
There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

New King James Version
There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God.

Well i certainly dont want to debate this topic, as i said i may be wrong.
But let us remember in the jewish culture children are raised in the scriptures.
I was actually pointing to the unregenerate.
How was that thirst created in the scripture you posted?
In the book of ruth how did ruth know about GOD?
I just gave my opinion of something ive never seen or heard of.

Context often helps.

We see that this refers to the wicked and rebellious majority. As you stated, many have sought God and obtained righteousness by faith. (Even in OT.)

Romans
3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
3:13 Their throat [is] an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps [is] under their lips:
3:14 Whose mouth [is] full of cursing and bitterness:
3:15 Their feet [are] swift to shed blood:
3:16 Destruction and misery [are] in their ways:
3:17 And the way of peace have they not known:
3:18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.

This refers to the multitude of fearless non-seekers. None of them seek righteousness.
