we don’t have to get oerfect we have to be willing to become disciples of the lord on order to enter into his kingdom we have to believe the gospel of his kingdom and then let his word fix our issues like greed , pride , lust , unforgiveness , revenge ect it goes as deep as we can go with him but it’s not there to condemn us it’s there to lift us out of the mire and out from under a law made for the dead
My understanding of repent would say we have to want to be perfect even though we can't be perfect. It is accepting all of Christ so we give up ourselves and live through Christ. If Christ says so, then we accept all Christ tells us on faith in him. That would mean that we do not listen to anything the world tells us for the world is not of Christ and turn all our thoughts over to Christ. The world yammers at us constantly through radio, TV, movies, newspapers but we don't let them lead us, we turn them off, and listen to Christ.

“It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:45‬ ‭KJV‬‬

so you don’t think hearing and accepting what he is teaching is part of it ? Don’t we want tomlewrn from Jesus and think his way ? Do you know when you see things like this

“But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also. Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:27-33, 35-38‬ ‭

it’s spiritual light to humble us , and call us into repentance ? Turn us from the worldly thkngs that’s why it seems so different from what we thought was Gods way ? It’s not a rule list that should press us from it or cause us to walk around it it’s the light we’re supposed to walk in

“Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭51:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it’s spiritual light that quickens our spirit to walk upright on Christs sight his doctrine there is going to be the last judgement of all mankind but he’s not going to check a rule list it’s going to be those who walked in his light and came to repentance according to his word

that’s why salvstion is based on accepting the gospel and getting baptized he teaches us his truth and ways and it changes us because we hear and believe and see what he really is saying

teaching us how God loves and how Gods children love there’s a lot of forgiveness throughout but it’s always going to be what he said that will save us.

the Ten Commandments can’t save anyone in any way

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

but if we come into the gospel of the kingdom that Jesus taught and preached and said to abide in and believe his word can heal us in those areas that we’re offended by his doctrine that’s his call to repentance and his righteousness just by accepting it hearing and knowing it’s Gods word that’s what builds our faith and creates repentance

heaven believers won’t hear the gospel either I’ve learned that law believers also reject it but look at where the promise is

“For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:22, 24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

many have thier own path and way but how many carry that promise from God ?

Or

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

there’s a hundred ways to God but I’m not sure any less tonthe father other than this one

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:1-7, 9, 21, 23-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

See how it all ties to his word and believing ? And how all the promises are tied also there ?

anyways I do respect everyone’s way I had thought we were closer on the matter of believing the gospel

i always thought Satan was in charge of this earthly world.....
he was until Christ gave the spirit to believers he had overcome man from the beginning in Eden look by the tenth generation

“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭6:5-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

he got dominion ove man when ten he followed his will in Eden but Christ came and took it back and enabled us to overcome and be set free

“And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

but very very few want to hear the way he made for freedom because it humbles us and destroys any self righteousness we thought we had , when we hear it it’s only after we start believing we realize what a light yoke he’s offered

“A new commandment I give to you: Love one another as I have loved you.”

This is not dying on the cross. This was before the crucifixion. This is the giving of one’s life to God so that He will live through you; dying to self-interest. By this, the Father lives in us and demonstrates His love through our lives.

But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

It is helpful for us to compare between the old commandment and the new. The reference to a “new” commandment by implication implies that there was an “old” commandment. So what is the “old” commandment?

The “old” commandment is found in Matthew, chapter 22:34-36, “Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: ‘Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?’”

Now, you’ll note that. Indeed, a lawyer, under the law could only ask Him a question about the law. He couldn’t ask Him about the new commandment; he was unaware of the new commandment. So the context of this question and the answer, both have to do with the law. What is the greatest commandment?

Matthew 22:37-40Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.’” (Inserted-Matthew 22:37-40)

His answer, summarized the teachings of the Law and the Prophets and in this, His answer is solidly to be found in the Law. This is the very thing that is to be replaced. But today most people think if you keep the 10 commandments and if you love your neighbor as yourself then you have done everything that God could have required. Now if you look at these two commandments you will immediately observe that they are foundationally different. Why? Because the standard is different.

In the first case the “new” commandment has this as the standard: “…as I have loved you, so you should love one another.” The “old” commandment has this: “With all of your capacity to love so you should love God and so you should love one another.” Well you will notice that the standard of the “old” commandment is, of course, appropriate for the Law because the Law can only require you to do as much as it is possible for you to do. Objectively and theoretically it is possible to keep the Law because it does not require any more than all that you are capable of doing. It doesn’t say, “All that you feel like doing,” nor does it say, “All that you want to do.” It says, “All that you are capable of doing.” So when the Law says, “Love the Lord your God with all of your heart...” all of your heart means all of the capacity that lies within you to do. All, in fact, means all. It doesn’t say, “All that you want to do, all that you feel like doing, all that on certain occasions you may be inclined to do.” No, it requires all. So in that sense, the Law and the standard of the Law is not haphazard but it does point out that it is all that is humanly possible. Furthermore, the Law was designed to keep the Jews alive. God could not ask a man to give up his own life under the Law. There was no promise of a new life in the Law. To ask a man to give up his life would be to make the Law unrighteous. A man cannot give up his own life and simultaneously keep his life.

The standard is appropriate for the Law because if the Law asks of anyone more than all then by the existence of the Law you’ve been made lawless. In other words: if it is all plus 10% then the Law makes you lawless because it has exceeded your capacity to respond. But the Law begins and ends with what you can do. And it has a lesser standard for loving your neighbor. Its objective standard regarding loving God is all that you are capable of doing. Its lesser standard in regards to loving your neighbor is, “…as you love yourself.” The presumption is that you love yourself pretty thoroughly. Now what if you didn’t love yourself? The Law simply requires you to love your neighbor in the same fashion, to the same extent.

What is the standard of the new and how is that different? The standard of the new is: “…as I have loved you.” Who is the “I” that is the measurement of this standard? The “I”, of course, is Christ, the one speaking. He is also the Living God. So the standard is: as Jesus has loved us so we are to love one another. Now what if you don’t love yourself? Well that is an irrelevant standard. He didn’t say, “as you love your neighbor, so you should love one another…” or “as I have occasionally loved you so you must love each other.” “As I have loved you” means “I, as God, have loved you perfectly; therefore I require you to love as God loves.” This is a fascinating standard because it’s the same standard for God as it is for man. The standard of love is the same for God as it is for man. That standard of the new commandment makes God and man equal on the matter of love. That’s an incredible observation. On the matter of love, God and man are equal.

Now don’t take my observation for that. Look at this: this is from Matthew5:48, Jesus is speaking. Now this verse of Scripture is very troubling. Matthew 5:48 says, “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” What we’ve done is we’ve read that verse out of its context and we have inferred meanings to it that it does not mean. For example we’ve inferred that it means “be perfect in power” and so people come up with thoughts like, “if you’re not healed it’s your fault; you don’t have enough faith, you do not exercise enough power.” So if things go badly it’s your fault. God has given you all power, God has given you all faith, and so on, and if you do these things less than perfectly then it is your fault. Well that’s garbage because God would not require us to be perfect in power, whatever power we have is His power given to us, and no one is made "all powerful". Therefore we could only operate in whatever measures of power He has given us. This Scripture is not about being perfect in power; it’s about being perfect in love.

Note the context: jump back to verse 43 “‘You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you: Love your enemies…” (so the context is love) “..and pray for those who persecute you…” Now why should you do that and how is this different? You must do that so that you can be sons of your Father in heaven, "..that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.” It means that just as natural children resemble their natural parents and the nature of natural children is like the nature of their natural parents, so the nature of the children of God is like the God Who is perfect in love. So it’s not surprising to us that the same standard would apply to God as would apply to us… in the matter of love. So that you will be as sons of your Father in heaven.

And then He gives us some examples of how he loves His enemies and does good for those who persecute Him. “He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous…”. Then He contrasts and He says, “If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even the pagans do that?” In short, to be like your Father in heaven it means that you do not simply love your enemies as you love yourselves or you love your neighbor as yourself; it is that you would love your enemy by preferring them over your own life and in that sense, and within that context it says, “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect."

The “old” commandment, under the Law, basically required you to love the extent of your capacity to love… love God as much as you are able and to love your neighbor as you are inclined to love yourself. That’s the “old” commandment. The “new” commandment says, “…as I have loved you.” And it establishes Christ as the standard for love. Christ being the Living God, the standard is the same for God as the standard is for man. Now the reason why the standard is the same is because, according to 2 Peter 1:4, the intent of God is that we be made to be partakers of the divine nature…"

“Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.” and "The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His nature..."

The divine nature, the nature of God, is to love and to love perfectly; to love by preferring the life of another over your own life, to give up your life to God so that God would live through you. Now what’s left unanswered for us is: why? And furthermore, how does this prepare us to overcome the evil one?

Revelation 12:11 “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.”) In this respect we are meant to be exactly as God—perfect in love—the same standard that applies to God applies to us and this is the measure that displays the reality that we are partakers of the divine nature.

By this it is abundantly clear that the “new” commandment is not simply the “old” commandment rehashed. It has the elements of a totally different standard, the same standard for God and man.

so you don’t think hearing and accepting what he is teaching is part of it ? l
This thread is all about seeing and accepting all of Christ and not letting he world in. It is about putting our entire heart and minds on the Lord and accepting His every single word, not the words of the world. That means Christ comes before our jobs, Christ comes before our entertainment, Christ comes first and foremost.

This thread is all about seeing and accepting all of Christ and not letting he world in. It is about putting our entire heart and minds on the Lord and accepting His every single word, not the words of the world. That means Christ comes before our jobs, Christ comes before our entertainment, Christ comes first and foremost.
indeed and agreed I guess his doctrine is to me pretty important because of this

“When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none,

he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.

Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭11:24-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

as we begin to repent and clean up our lives in whatever ways we need to , we’re changing something from our past self that took time and space within our mknd and beset and life

if we don’t fill those voids with the gospel doctrine , and faith

it’s much like the law testament we can’t say if the Ten Commandments we don’t need to know what they are because in those days those around thier neck is what kept them somewhat in line though they always rebelled but the Ten Commandments we’re the center and core of the law Christs doctrine is the same now

“Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:”
‭‭2 John‬ ‭1:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭

so I understand this thread is about not abiding in the world , my point is that to accomplish that we have to abide in the kingdom

“Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I’ve noticed a lot of people talk about the gospel but it’s just a short term for the gospel of the kingdom Christs doctrine

We need to keep
Our ofnthe worldly thkngs lkke your saying but we have to replace those places in us with the gospel or they are going to come back fighting harder to take us from it a

I tend to look at the spiritual things the enemies we have in them world seeking to enter in through entertainment and all your talking about they get into us and take root

we repent but then we need to let this in as our sword and shield

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:63‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That way when the evil comes back at us and it also does we have a shield of faith to hold up in our heart and a spirit who carries a heavy bladed sword to guard our minds and hearts in Christ

I understand we’re talking about staying out of the worldly things , I’m talking about how to accomplish that by replacing it with a new belief created by the gospel that purifies us

you know how God came down and spoke stop the Mount the commandments and that set up the law that came after the ordinances and judgements ect .

this is where we are centered now he became one of us and then walked up atop a mount called us near and began with the center of his doctrine but so much better is a blessing than curse

“And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:1-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

if we let those things in replacing the worldly thkngs it will change us into those who inherit those blessings

good stuff there

it’s the same it’s just the sofference in how inspirirtual and sinful people loves them and how we do it now to at we’re born again we’re the change

they loved like this

“Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭13:8-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

see thier love was right not hurt and harm each other to resist thier impulses so not doing things evil became love under the law

but I’m christ love is this because we’ve been born of the soirit and washed in his blood and made new we need something better we are called by Christ into an active love that of course doesn’t kill and lie and chest others or do harm but that’s not us this is

“Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:16-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

there are no good works in the law it’s about resisting the urge to harm others but the gospel is about giving love of Christ Jesus who helped us when we were blind poor and destitute of hope and life

we’re called into heaven and the law was meant for earth don’t harm each other v Go forth and love others as I have loved you do good and not evil , be the Good Samaritan who went out of his way to help Another in need share the actual light of the gospel in the world and his name

the law was a veiled shadow for inslirirual unborn folks but we’re called into the heavens to be Gods eternal children his doctrine is also alive and active when we believe it first he makes it part of us and is able to transform us

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

By doctrine you mean the study of all Christ told us in order to follow Him.

In my study of the church of the apostle, there is little about doctrine or dogma and a LOT about lifestyle that is a reflection of Christ. They trusted what Christ said so completely that their life here on earth had little importance compared to their life in eternity.

the kingdom

Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭17:21‬ ‭

how he and it arrived there

“Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it’s only absent and he is only absent if we are looking at the wrong kingdom
No kingdom till you control earth. Some parts of the world are controlled by other faiths "kings", so the kingdom of God is just some small patches in easter europe, Ireland and south america. Other nations are very secular and dechristified now, or controlled by other faiths. The kingdom is within us, but not of this world. And we can try to change the world, and that is good, but it does kind of pull us away from God. Not doing it, people can do what they want, mine is personal. I tried being honest about a few times, all I got was a bunch of dishonest questions, then judgement and blaspheming. I stand up for it, but not trying to make others christians, up to them. I endure this and that much blasphemy, then it is enough. It is the atheists that are missionaries now, and off with the head if you have faith.

I am not repenting yet, not read enough. And have some more meetings to do with atheists who hate me first, where I need to be able to speak freely as in the past, with some cussing, naughty language about sex, etc. If some people need that. Then repent, I already believe in the gospels, no issue with that. I will most likely finish the collection of books by christmas. Apart from the books about the events surrounding christmas events, which I want to save. John the baptist is good stuff.Remember one important wording, "have patience", do not stress this. You have time. Whatever is thrown at you, you are granted strength to endure, so you can deal with worldly issues first, then repent. If not, I would lack faith. I risk it, and have faith in people around me too. So I wait, am blunt, but honest, and now we have the virus that will soon shutdown society again, and become an issue, that people are angry with me for not taking, I just have to endure, and be easy about it. Hope it is not so big an issue, but if it is, then I go to hell, and my mission was to teach my surroundings, that an ask would be better than angry words for not doing it, and telling me a bunch of stuff I already knew like 1 year ago, had no purpose, and telling me I was a crackpot consiracy person for not taking it was wrong, since it was not my reason for not doing it. The missing ask was the reason, as I have told some. A christian person would not care about any change in the DNA, which the socalled crackpots supposedly speak of, and are many.. Because the faith is about the soul, not the body, and when mandated or asked to do something for society, we are told to comply, live by the law of the land. But a big christian issue for many other reasons of course.. But secular people never ventures into those ones.

John 18:36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”
Sorry, not engaging on issues that may lead to banning, even in scripture. I just take it as we agree, but I am not going into no racial thing here. People as a whole did not fight and stopped the arrest of Jesus, so not his kingdom at that time, but he owned the world time ove time later. And Jesus knew his job to do, that was Gods test of himself, to understand us better, do you not understand that? He made a metaphisical being of himself and endured all the worst you can imagine happen to you, so he can feel on that when judging us, and look into our hearts for our feelings. Jesus is not just teachings to us, it is a terrible teaching for God, to understand us better and the failings we make, and understand missteps, reaction, etc. Jesus on earth was a bridgebuilder, does not mean you have no job to do, does not mean God does not demand, means he understands you better. Accepting you is easier, no matter what type of friend of Jesus you are. Showed you a path to walk. God is for all, drop any special race regarding judgement.

“And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭17:20-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭22:29-30‬ ‭

“And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭10:17-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28:18-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

but where is faith ?

“So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Therefore rejoice ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them.

Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭12:9-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

but Christians have power over him even as we are on earth. This world is doomed, the kingdom is present within us we walk by faith and know we’re called to follow the king into heaven leaving the trial behind like those in heaven are rejoicing about

we need to not love our lives in the world and turn our faith and care tonthe kingdom within us because it’s never going to be a worldly kingdom , it’s a heavenly one the spirit within us is our portion and what we do with that portion will determine the end

God is a personal God, God wants to relate to people one at a time. It is these people God relates to and becomes their God who makes up a nation. God sees these people one by one.

The message is very simple: sin kills and God offers to save us from that death through Christ. Satan is the enemy of that, wanting people to accept him as God.

John said what his purpose was 🙂he was remitting sins preparing them to receive the Holy Spirit from Christ

he also gave Israel’s leaders this warning which led to that parable of the kingdom being taken from them

“In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah , saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; ( 2 kings 1:8) and his meat was locusts and wild honey.

Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.

But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. ( Galatians 3:26-39)

And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭3:1-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

baptism for repentance and remission never went away if that’s your suggestion Paul and the rest were all baptized in water and the spirit the spirit doesn’t remit our sins repentance and baptism does the spirit gives us a new life free of sins dominion

“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it’s ok either way one wants to believe it was just to the point that your basing an aweful lot on daniels vision of seventy weeks for Israel to stop sinning and be righteous which they never did and without accepting the gospel can never do

and sort of I know the seventy weeks thing leads back to an earthly temple but that’s been lost long ago there’s no need for a temple because he lives in the inner room of the heart of man now and he is calling us into the kingdom that has no temple but Christ

“And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21:22-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The ot thkngs wee conditional upon their works of righteousness and repentance but they never did it so the curse promosed came when they tortured and killed Gods glory and image on the cross

this is the great abomination and why an Islamic mosque has stood on the Temple Mount for hundreds of years and why Jerusalem is split into three religions now Judaism , Islam and Christianity

it’s strange hat on that mosque in large letter it’s declared “ God has no son “ still an abomination to believers in Christ
