The TWO WITNESSES

The book of Daniel is the Apocalypse of the Old Testament and a sister book to the Apocalypse of the New Testament, the book of Revelation.

Jesus Christ told us in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 when He sat upon the Mount of Olives and gave His disciples the seven seals concerning the knowledge and the events that would transpire during the final generation of the fig tree, that the book of Daniel was where one could go read and gain understanding concerning the abomination of desolation, that abominable desolator (antichrist) who would come stand in the holy place claiming to be God.

One witness: the character of the King, authority
One witness: the administration of the priesthood, power

This witness will be seen within the mature in Christ: authority and power that aligns with the character of Christ. Many will claim to be part of the Body, but, by this time, it will be clear who they really are.

Joseph was like a king when he was given the Pharaoh's signet ring and had authority over all.He is represented as the remnant when his brother's decided to try kill him.Read those chapters and it foreshadows what's to happen in a spiritual sense.The remnant give the spiritual bread(grain) in revelation.

Zerubbabel is called the Lord's signet ring too.He rebuilds the temple.Both of them are considered a remnant.

The remnant are even in the priesthood.They're the Levite's who 'stood up' for God(we are to stand for God) when Moses asked who is for God to come to him.They were given a everlasting priesthood.(the remnant,not the Levite's)

The remnant carry are Ark of the Covenant over the Jordan river.Who are led by TWO WITNESSES'S!!(Joshua and ArronBut even Before that,There were two witnesses in Moses and Aaron.They are the one's who God had chosen to lead Israel out of Egypt.They are the only one's left alive to see the promise land after being captive in Egypt(witnesses)
More hints are when two spies are sent over the Jordan to spy out Jericho.They're two witnesses who are also the remnant that made it to the promise land!
So many hints who are two witnesses are.They say our lives for yours to the prostitute Rahab( spiritual prostitute/sinner)The Two Witnesses in Revelation do give their lives to Rahab and all who are her's.
When they lay down in hiding on the roof top in flak,it's a spiritual sign of who and what they do.Flak was used for the making of bricks for roads and walls.

In Gideon's army they're also a remnant and again there are two spies sent into to gather information on the enemy.The two spies are a part of the remnant and are one.

In Revelation,the 144,000 will be like spies in that they will give witness to the testimony of Jesus in the mist of the enemy.No one can stop them till they're finished with their task.The bible will likely be banned and Christian's will be persecuted.
They are the spirit of Elijah with the double anointing.The Lords signet ring.Their eye's will be like blazing fire and they'll be like bright light.You ever see those portraits of Jesus or the prophets with a circle of light behind their head?being filled with the spirit.
It's the Holy Spirit that comes in Jesus name.And when you see them,it'll be like you're looking at Jesus.Didn't God say to Moses it be as God himself was speaking?
To the 144,000 it will be like looking through somebody else's eyes.They are the 144,000 Temples of God!
People who are hungry and thirsty will be drawn in to them.

There's other clues too that tie in the remnant and the two witnesses are the one and the same.

Who do you think the two witnesses will be? I’ll begin.

First lets go to Matthew 17, to the mount of transfiguration:

Matthew 17:1-3

1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,

2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

3 And, behold, there appeared unto them MOSES and ELIAS (Elijah) talking with him.

MOSES = Law giver, Representing the Law.
ELIAS (Elijah) = The Prophets.

Revelation 11:3-5

3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks STANDING BEFORE THE GOD of the earth.

5 And if any man will hurt them, FIRE PROCEEDETH OUT OF THEIR MOUTH, AND DEVOURETH THEIR ENEMIES: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

2 Kings 1:10-12

10 And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, “If I be a man of God, then LET FIRE COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN, and consume thee and thy fifty.” And there CAME DOWN FIRE FROM HEAVEN, and consumed him and his fifty.

11 Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, "O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly."

12 And Elijah answered and said unto them, "If I be a man of God, LET FIRE COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN, and consume thee and thy fifty." And the FIRE OF GOD CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN, and consumed him and his fifty.

So we see that Elijah had the same powers as the two witnesses.

Revelation 11:6-9

6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: (the sign of Elijah)and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. (the powers that Moses used in Egypt)

7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

Psalms 79:2-3

2 The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.

3 Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.

Revelation 11:11

11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

Now we’ll go to Zechariah 4:11-14

11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?

12 And I answered again, and said unto him, "What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?"

13 And he answered me and said, "Knowest thou not what these be?" And I said, "No, my lord."

14 Then said he, "These are the TWO ANOINTED ONES, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth."

So I think that most likely the two witnesses will be Elijah and Moses. What say you?

Right. It's not a literal "2 people". The whole Body of Christ will show these characteristics in the final days.

Are you suggesting that "the whole body of Christ" will be "killed" (die) and then stand again on their feet (be resurrected)? ; as opposed to some of the body of Christ making up the "we which are ALIVE and remain unto" component... ("this mortal" / still-living component, at the time being referenced in 1Cor15:51-54)? Or are you suggesting that the "2W" only figuratively "die"? Just wondering.

Yes, of course.

First, this is written:
"And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed..."

And then this is written:
"After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands..."

So we hear one thing and then we see another, but the two are connected. Same thing happened earlier, we heard "the Lion of the Tribe of Judah" and then John turned a beheld a "Lamb that was slain".

For the 144,000... This is 12x12x1000: the perfection of governance x the perfection of governance x without end. In other words "verily verily, of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end."

Na the bible is a great weapon against Christians it be silly of the bad guys to ban it.

They will ban it by making laws against speaking it publicly.

It will become a 'hate' crime to tell someone they need to be Saved by the Blood of Christ.

Forgiveness of sin through Christ alone will also be a 'hate' crime

What if the two witnesses are Michael and Gabriel? Coming to Earth in the form of men.


I say Michael and Gabriel because they are the two angels most frequently mentioned in the Bible.
