Hebrews 8:12
"For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”

Jeremiah 31:34
34
And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

This is a blessing when your sin is removed from you. Today the world is on a hunt for those who have emailed things they consider "sinful".

A man from the NFL was raked over the coals for an email he sent over 10 years ago. Paula Deen was judged too by her past words like over 20 years yet those who are crying racism, homophobia, and misogynistic, themselves have had sexual assault, drug abuse and abuse of women said about them.

Selective outrage on morality. These very same types cry " DO NOT JUDGE" yet, they judge. The NFL is going through emails from over 10 years ago looking for those who have said things they find offensive. Are you not thankful our God says come to me and I will forgive you? That HE God, when we repent truly forgives and Remembers our sin no more.

Paul knew this and had to forget in order to fulfill God's plan for his life. He confessed his sins, forgot his sins, abandoned any guilty conscience he might have had, and got moving in the plan of God.

Php_3:13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,

The mercy we give will be the same as we receive.

I am so thankful that God forgives and remembers our sin no more.
If he didn't then we would be stuffed.

One thing I would encourage every Christian to do is to walk in this truth.
Satan will do his best to convince us and put doubt in our heads.

"Are you truly forgiven, you have done it again, that's 3 strikes and now you are out?
Along with many more lies he tells us.

We need to

Ephesians 6:16
16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

Our Father is so compassionate and knows we are weak and our provision is through our saviour Jesus.

Psalms 103:6-17
6 The Lord executes righteousness
And justice for all who are oppressed.
7 He made known His ways to Moses,
His acts to the children of Israel.
8 The Lord is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.
9 He will not always strive with us,
Nor will He keep His anger forever.
10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor punished us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heavens are high above the earth,
So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
12 As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
13 As a father pities his children,
So the Lord pities those who fear Him.
14 For He knows our frame;
He remembers that we are dust.
15 As for man, his days are like grass;
As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
16 For the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
And its place remembers it no more.
17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting
On those who fear Him,
And His righteousness to children’s children,

Christianity is sometimes criticized as a license to steal because when people
come to faith in Christ, the file that God has been accumulating against
them gets demolished and from thence He does not begin compiling a new
file.

2Cor 5:19 . . God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not
counting their trespasses against them

The Greek word translated "counting" is logizomai (log-id'-zom-ahee) which
means to take an inventory; i.e. an indictment.

2Cor 5:19 is quite an advantage because when there are no books on people,
then there is nothing on record with which to accuse them, i.e. it's as though
they've never been anything but 100% innocent, viz: blameless.

This may seem like cooking the books, but God has a way to do it on the up
and up without obstructing justice.

Christians accept circumcision of the heart. That means that a Christian cuts out the fleshly part of living and is separate from the world and heaven is their true home. They are marked as separate people.

If someone robs a bank for example, and then becomes a Christian he must accept the punishment the world gives for that robbery, but in his real kingdom of heaven, it is as if he never robbed the bank. It is all wiped out, no guilt feelings need remain.

I whole heartedly agree with hebrews 8:12 in many ways and Jeremiah 31:34, and then i read the rest of your thread and we see how the world does not work the same way as our father in heaven. On the wave lenght of our father, does our father only forgive you on the bases that you repent ? or does the mind set of our father go further than that in the sence that he understands why people sin and dont repent ?,,, meaning sometimes they do sometimes they dont at least not straight away. or they carry on in sin because of whats in this world.

Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. 26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation,

This scripture above is so widely miss repesented. this scriptures aboves means we should honor our father with assembling our selfs together and worshiping our lord together as written in the rest of hebrews 10. Assembling together would mean something like meeting in church once a week or perhaps something else like family prayer meeting once a week, maybe at home. worshiping the lord at home to possibly and assemblng that away.. if we know the truth of this and we dont assemble we commit sin. should we be fearfull of this ? or should we come to love to do what the lord asks us to do ?,, because this is a problem if we do not come to love what the lord asks us to but instead become fearful that we must do what the lord asks us to do and out of fear we do what is asked of us..because satan gets people to things out of fear to

The lord loves you and remembers you when you love to do what the lord likes ... the lord does not remember you when wickedness has a hold on you.. but this does not mean automatically it is your own fault completely.. as wickedness would want to tear love apart. The lord does not rememeber you when wickedness has you because he much prefers to remember you when your heart was fond of the ways he loves and there is scripture for this to back this up.. which is also to remember those the same way.. like next week you could miss assembly but hey remembering something could be wrong befor you cut me of would be nicer..

Personaly speaking here and im sure your well qualified satan wants to remember wickedness all day long and then claim God hands you over to satan if you dont repent.. this is a problem because Gods character suggest he does not want to remember your wickedness because he prefers to remember your Goodness and realises we can make mistakes or go of the rails or lose heart.. thats when the broken become lost. satan will remind you of hurt all day...he is the scar builder.
