NOTE: Earlier this year Pastor Artur Pawlowski stood up against the COVID Gestapo in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. As a result a judge has denied him his Constitutional rights and freedoms under Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Since all the rules, regulations, and vaccines regarding coronavirus are completely bogus, this is a very serious attack against Christians.

Judge bans Canadian pastor who defied COVID lockdown from speaking out against gov’t rules
Artur Pawlowski says his sentence will keep him from preaching the truth for 18 months.

(LifeSiteNews) – Canadian Christian pastor Artur Pawlowski says a judge has forced him to “give up” his faith after banning him from publicly criticizing COVID health orders, including on social media, unless he also promotes opinions in favor of the government’s draconian health orders.

“Welcome to Chinada 2021,” Pawlowski said after his court sentencing hearing yesterday in an interview posted on Rebel News’ Twitter feed.

Pawlowski said a judge has essentially banned him from working as a preacher for nearly two years.
“Well, basically what the judge is saying is that I cannot be a pastor anymore. For 18 months, I have to give up my rights, I have to give up my convictions, I have to give up my faith, and I cannot participate in anything that I believe in.”

Yesterday, Pawlowski was handed a sentence from Alberta Justice Adam Germain that did not include jail time despite health authorities asking for it but fined him $23,000 and gave him 18 months’ probation and 120 hours of community service. Pawlowski is also banned from leaving Alberta unless he obtains permission from his probation officer, which is extremely unlikely.

Pawlowski and his brother, Dawid, were in court Wednesday for a sentencing hearing regarding contempt of court charges against them for holding worship services at their Cave at Adullam church in Calgary in the spring of 2021. The service was held contrary to strict COVID rules in place at the time banning large in-person worship services.
During the sentencing hearing, Germain spent the better part of 40 minutes chiding Pawlowski for spending the summer months on tour in the United States, where he spoke about his ordeal with health authorities.

Despite reportedly stating that the Pawlowski brothers were “arrested in a spectacle” like in a “third world country,” the judge nevertheless accused the pair of having “reveled in their arrest.” Germain also claimed Wednesday that Pawlowski made himself a type of martyr for going on a speaking tour in the United States.

Pawlowski spent the better part of July,  August and September in America on his Courageous Faith tour, telling audiences about his ordeals with police and health officials who targeted him for not following local COVID rules.

Pawlowski’s legal team is working on an appeal of Wednesday’s sentencing along with his free speech limitations. Pawlowski’s lawyer, Sarah Miller, said in an interview posted on Rebel News that she thought the judge would sentence them to jail time, but it was a “huge win” that no jail sentence was given.

Germain’s full written ruling has not yet been made public.

Pawlowski says judge’s ruling means that he now must ‘lie’ every time he opens his mouth
Pawlowski lambasted the fact in a post-court interview posted on Rebel News’ Twitter feed that he now is forced to go against his beliefs every time he speaks.

“(Now) every time I open my mouth to the public I have to lie, to the public, stating that vaccinations are saving lives, that masks work, that doctors and scientists are all for restrictions, pretty much a lie,” Pawlowski said.

“I have to become a liar every time I open my mouth in order to actually speak about the corrupted judges, the corrupted court system, and the corrupted politicians, because you know and I know, they are breaking the same rules all the time,” Pawlowski said in his post-court interview.

According to a Rebel News report, Germain is a “failed Liberal politician who was appointed to the courts by Jean Chretien after he lost his election.”

In July, Alberta Health Services (AHS) asked the court for a 21-day jail sentence against Pawlowski, claiming he “openly” flaunted COVID rules.

In September, AHS  lawyer John Siddons argued that in addition to a 21-day jail sentence, Pawlowski should be fined $2,000 and pay $15,000 in costs. Siddons also recommended Dawid be jailed for 10 days.

At the September hearing, Pawlowski appeared virtually in court to argue against the pending jail sentence. He told a judge that he stood before the court as a “political prisoner of conscience.”

Pawlowski and his brother made international headlines after being arrested in a highway takedown in May for holding worship services at their Calgary church amid COVID lockdowns. The pair served three nights in jail before being released on bail.

In June, a judge ruled that AHS had proved that the brothers were guilty “beyond a reasonable doubt of contempt” of court. This came after the brothers earlier breached an injunction order against them that said they would go to jail if they held church services.

In the spring of 2021, Pawlowski, who is a Polish immigrant, made international headlines for calling police and health inspectors making two unannounced health visits to his church “Gestapo Nazis.” According to Rebel News reporter Sheila Gunn Reid, Justice Germain told Pawlowski that he did not have the right to refer to the health inspectors as “Nazis.”

Just a few weeks ago, Pawlowski was arrested by customs officials for offenses said to have occurred months ago upon returning home to Calgary from a tour of the United States.

Section 176 of the Criminal Code of Canada makes it a crime to interrupt a church service and also to arrest an “an officiant” when they are returning home from service, but at that time churches in Alberta were subject to lockdown rules imposing strict capacity limits.

An attack on Christianity comes from Hollywood music or ubisoft video games like far cry 5. Those are outright and provocative.

Hmmm, who should I listen to, the Canadian Government or God? Decisions, decisions in the valley of decisions.

One pastor in Australia has spent time in prison for promoting anti vax and COVID conspiracy views. It's quite simple really. If you intend to break the law then you need to be prepared to suffer the consequences.

Calling people doing their jobs "Gestapo Nazis" is unhelpful. If people don't like the rules, they can vote the lawmakers out. That's something early Christians could not do. You know the apostle who told Christians to obey the authorities. Even though he himself was mistreated by them, he had this to say:

Titus 3:1 "Remind the believers to submit to rulers and authorities, to be obedient and ready for every good work, to malign no one, and to be peaceable and gentle, showing full consideration to everyone.…"

Christians need a real good reason to disobey the authorities. Since they are appointed by God, it is rebelling against God to disobey. Don't believe me? Romans 13:1
"Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which is from God. The authorities that exist have been appointed by God."

This is not an issue of forgiveness of sin. Christians are already forgiven. However, there is the principle of sowing and reaping. Those who seek to have authority must also submit to authority. The Roman Centurion who spoke to Jesus knew this. Lord Jesus marveled at his faith.

In a democracy, Christians get the government that they pray for. If you don't like the way the country is run, do something about it. Pray and vote. It's a bit late for Canada, I realise. Remember this for next time.

wow, I didn't realize they had passed a law in their legislature outlawing public questions and dissent. So that is the law in Australia? When did they pass that law?

It is quite simple really, in the US where I am more familiar, you cannot mandate an EAU vaccine. So the FDA has fully approved the vaccine, but that is not the vaccine they have mandated. You see an EAU vaccine is exempt from liability and rules concerning transparency. So they give you the vaccine that you are not allowed to know what is in it and for which you cannot sue if you are harmed, yet they tell you they have "mandated it". No, they mandated the one they don't give you. So who is being lawless here? This mandate is a direct violation of the Nuremberg laws which the US has subscribed to.

Not only so, but in the US we have a constitutional right to free speech. Again, I don't know as much about Canada and Australia but it is quite simple really, the US government has no authority to censor me if I question the vaccine.

^ was very high from person to person.

canada has a population of 38 million

there have been over 44 million covid tests conducted in canada as of yesterday.

of those 44 million tests, there were 1.65 million positive results.

that is about 2.3% of the country of canada's population.

so, maybe do some actual research before you call something that 97.7% of a country did NOT get as " spreading very high".

Actually the risk to the general population was always minimal (just like the annual flu). The majority of real coronavirus deaths were among (1) the very elderly, (2) the obese, and (3) people with other serious health conditions. And had the medical establishment made the very cheap and effective remedies freely available, chances are no one would have died. They are presently attacking ivermectin blatantly even though it is extremely effective.

At the same time Alberta Health Services were unable to provide the court (in another case with another pastor in Alberta) with any real scientific data or evidence that their draconian rules and regulations were medically justifiable. Indeed they asked the judge to exempt them from providing any such evidence! Can you imagine any prosecutor going to the judge in any other case and saying "Your Honor, we really have no case, but we would like you to take away this persons rights and freedoms"?

All these cases should have been thrown out of court for blatant violations of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

If the law has no basis in fact or science, then it is the government which should be held accountable for violating Constitutional rights and freedoms. Or do you prefer to give the villains a pass so that law-abiding citizens are treated as criminals?

The Alberta government could not (and would not) give the court any evidence to prove that their laws were justified in a previous case! Yet the judges have played along with the governments and condemned law-abiding citizens for disregarding baseless rules and regulations. Sweden had no lockdowns and did just fine. The states with the most draconian measures had the worst scenarios.

The US constitution says I have the right to free speech and the government cannot make any laws taking that away from me. I can hear that loud and clear.

Show me one law that I have not obeyed? Who appointed you as judge?

Also, there is no verse in the Bible which says I need to "obey the government". Instead it says to "Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience." The authority in the US is the constitution and the law. Can you hear that?

There are far more verses in the Bible saying to "submit to God" and He is the ultimate authority.

Phony Christians and False prophets

It is very disturbing how people under the pretense of speaking the word of God are telling us that we must obey the government.

1. This is deceitful twisting of the word. If you have to obey the government it implies you have to obey Biden or even Fauci. The Bible never says this, not ever, not once. Rather the Bible says to submit to the authorities. Biden's authority is the constitution, if he violates his authority (if his head is not covered) then he has no authority.

2. This implies that we must obey Biden's mandate, yet the mandate is lawless. Biden's authority is from the law and yet his mandate violates the law. The law for the entire world that has submitted to the Nuremberg laws is that you cannot mandate an Experimental Use Authorized vaccine. No one can legally require you to take a EUA vaccine, yet that is what they are doing. The FDA gave full approval to one version of the vaccine but that is not the one they are giving you. So then this mandate is lawless. Everyone is required to submit to the authorities and that includes Biden. No one made him a king or a dictator.

So then beware of @Gideon300 he tells you that you are being lawless by not obeying the government. This is false, the government in Australia, Canada and the US is being lawless by mandating a EUA vaccine. The law that @Gideon300 will judge you with actually convicts his government of sin before God.

Luke 20:46 “Beware of the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets. 47 They devour widows’ houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. These men will be punished most severely.”

I agree with @Gideon300, the Bible does command Christians to co-operate with the authorities because they are appointed by God. Can you imagine what the world would be without a government to round up all the thugs, rapists, perverts and bad guys in jail?, I say total chaos. Respect the King and Honor God is a saying in the Psalms or Proverbs but i am sure God does not want the saints to object authority, the only exception is if and only if the government asks you to do something contrary to the law of God, which is very unlikely.

Context is everything. @Gideon300 said "obey the government" was a Biblical command. This changes the verse slightly from "submit to the authorities" and is very different from the verse you reference.

Why do I have to submit to authorities for conscience sake? It is because all authority comes from God.

If you live in the US the authority is the US constitution and the Nuremberg laws. I am not well versed on the laws of Canada and Australia but do know that in both cases the Nuremberg laws apply.

So then the context of @Gideon300 comment was to obey the vaccine mandate. The vaccine mandate is lawless, it is a clear and undeniable violation of the Nuremberg laws. If I "submit to the authorities" as the Bible says I submit to the Nuremberg laws and call out any lawless government officials as not submitting to the authorities.

However, there is more to the context of @Gideon300 comment which is a condemnation to me and all others who call out this lawless mandate. He is a "teacher of the law" who is condemning those of us who are abiding by the law and justifying the lawless.

All am saying is that God is saying obey the law of the land, this is the same exact reason why when the pharisees and saducees tempted Jesus if they should pay taxes to the romans responded by telling them "render unto Ceasar the things that are of Ceasar and to God the things that rightfully belongs to God".
