There's a feud brewing here around a very important issue.

I guess it all started back in the 1940s with the Sears Roebuck catalog in the out house. You see, no matter how you turned, you used the top sheet. My grandfather decided that it would be easier to tear off a page if the catalog if were hanging. So he took a wire coat hanger, and hung the catalog from it. No problem yet. Then my grandmother bought a roll of toilet paper. Grandpa put the roll on the coat hanger with the paper over the top. Everything was fine even when we got indoor outhouses. The toilet paper was always hung over the top. Worked fine through the next few generations. Then my sister had the audacity to hang it backwards. Now we have a real feud brewing. Before it comes to arms, we need a solution.

How do you hang the toilet paper?

I don't hang toilet paper to dry, I use it once and then toss it.

What a waste of resources! And I thought you were a conservative.
As my financial situation improved I became soft, it is the sad truth.

Personally, I prefer the backwards approach but my wife wants it over the top so that's the way that it is.

Everyone in my family hangs it from the top except for one of my children who is totally sinister and hangs it from the bottom.

Over the top.... always. Because when it's difficult to find it's a real problem.

And spinning the roll in the expected direction doesn't help either.

Your sister needs to be taken out and shot. Tell her "Good Bye Felicia" and tell her when she owns that house she can make her own rules. Until that day comes...he who owns the house owns the rules.

Seriously? You would mandate the vaccine for her because she doesn't know how to replace the Toilet paper? That is monstrous, that is Faucian.

There always has to be one - right?
This is a wonderful thread, I can imagine a year or two from now when there is no toilet paper anywhere that people will look back on this thread as "the good old days" when the most sinister thing you could do was put the roll of toilet paper on wrong.

She's left handed i.e. sinister so she often does things in an...unusual...way. 😉
