Hello,
I hope you all are well this morning. Thanks for letting me in the conversation. I was raised Catholic but moved away from the church and spent most of my life away from God and pretty far left. In the last few years politics has been the road back to Christ. I couldn't drink the left's kool-aid anymore, if you will, made conservative friends, and opened myself up to God. I'm a public school teacher (which can be kind of hilarious because public schools are, you know, public schools) who counts myself as part of the silent majority. I don't need to yell at people about politics or religion at this point; I am listening and asking Christ to show me the way. I'm 52, three kids, struggle some with PTSD, but you'd not know it if we met, I'm normal, I swear Thank you again, everyone, for allowing me to feel less alone. I get the sense there are more like me out there.
