His Precious Blood opened the Door for our Marriage Union with Christ at the Right hand of the Father.

How can we believe in the Spirit (AfterLife) if we say there is no afterlife?

How can we believe if we resist what is written for us to believe?

Search the scriptures Laura and see if it says anywhere in the Gospels and the Apostles and Revelation that our spirit/soul goes to sleep when our physical body dies and sleeps in the earth.

Please post the scripture that says "our spirit/soul goes to sleep and has no consciousness after our physical body dies."

i posted countless verses at least 25 that say our souls sleep in death. Of course it is our personhood/ soul that rises with our new immortal bodies—not our decayed bodies.

Yet again you are isolating verses when other versexprove this to be false. How could the thief be with Jesus when Jesus said to Mary “I have NOT yet ascended to the Father”? And He did not ascend until 40 days later! The dead have NO sense of time passing, — it is a twinkling of an eye therefore it will be experienced as a day to the thief.
You all have many false beliefs as you do not use the reasoning faculties God gave you. You all still dont get it— you continue blindly on refusing to test scripture against scripture and isolate verses when other verses easily disprove your false doctrine.

Not one verse you posted states 'soul sleep'.

Only the physical body dies and sleeps in the earth and will be awakened at His Coming and His Resurrection.

Ecclesiastes does no hold authority over the the 5 Books of Moses, the Prophets, the words of our LORD and the Apostles.

That is like saying, i believe Solomon who slept with a thousand women against God's Will over the Lord and the Apostles.

And of course this is easily proven to be false. I posted numerous verses in another post which to willfully choose to ignore. How would a dead body sleep without the mind that enables it to do so? Do you have any idea how truly nonsensically that is? The dead decaying body DOES NOT rise— it is the soul in its glorified body.

When our flesh (natural) body dies we are all given spiritual bodies. Everyone of us, both the saved and the unsaved.

Let’s say we are still alive in our flesh and blood bodies when Jesus returns at the 7th trump. Our bodies will be changed into our spiritual bodies in the twinkling of an eye. ….but keep in mind, we are talking about bodies here, not souls.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

This doesn’t mean we will have become immortal. It jus means that we will just be given a spirit body that's incorruptible but not necessarily immortal.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

These are two separate happenings:

The first thing that happens is that our flesh body is changed into a spirit body either at Christ's return or when we die in the flesh, whichever happens first.

Now here comes the second happening. Some of us will be granted eternal life/immortality at Christ's return (This is the First Resurrection). However some of us who didn’t make it must wait until after the 1000 year Millennium when at the Great White Throne Judgment, they will either be granted eternal life/immortality (The Second Resurrection) or eternal death which is to perish (along wth Satan).
