Forget new year's resolutions. Everybody does them and nobody keeps them.
What are your hopes and dreams for this year? What do you wish would happen? What do you think will happen? Right in between those, what do you hope will happen?
One request: Let's please try to avoid talking too much about covid. It will affect our plans and any thread about plans for this year will have to include something about covid affecting plans, but we don't have to make the whole thread a covid-ruins-everything thread.
What I wish would happen is everything would get back to the normal we used to know. Yeah, that's not gonna happen.
What I think will happen is my grandma will die this year. She's 89 and at the rate she has declined over the last year it looks like it will happen soon.
What I hope will happen is the meetup that some chat friends have been planning since before covid came along and wrecked our meetup plans. So far it's looking like we'll be able to meet this year. I hope I hope I hope!
