Recently Stacy Abrams was photographed maskless during an event at a school where 20+ kids around her were masked. Republicans predictably attacked her for her hypocrisy in this but she pointed out this was a reading event during Black History Month.

This gets complicated so let's walk through it. Yes, it appears hypocritical to mandate masks for everyone else and not for yourself but remember Stacy Abrams is black and only 170 years ago we had slavery of blacks in the US. Think of how troubling it is for Stacy to have to put on a mask when only 170 years ago blacks in this country were slaves! Now some will point out that there were little black children in the picture as well, why was it OK to mandate masks for them while Stacy ignored that and to them the only response is that Stacy doesn't see color.

Obviously she understands that systemic racism has resulted in a world where the rules are for thee and not for her, but she doesn't see color (perhaps she is colorblind?) and so pointing out how this hypocrisy on her part is actually a cruel and insensitive way of making fun of someone with a disability (colorblindness?).

Hope this helps everyone realize how bad you are for "pouncing" on this apparent hypocrisy without considering the context of what happened less than 200 years ago.

Odd how does a cloth mask represent slavery?

I think you are missing the point, she has sent a very clear warning that if you criticize her she will accuse you of being a racist.

From a personal perspective my son's preschool forces them to wear masks. So... being that he's 3 they trade them, wipe their noses on them, drop them on the floor and put back on their face. It's the opposite of hygienic and I'm a germophob anyway so it makes me cringe.

I literally can't believe in 2022 people think a piece of cloth over your mouth prevents droplets from getting it. I mean my gosh your eyes are exposed! Droplets are microscopic and easily go through cloth.

Sometimes I feel like everyone else started taking drugs and I'm the only one sober...

Masks on kids have been found to be very effective at causing pneumonia and delays in brain development. Kids need to have a personal touch, a teacher that cares about them, especially at 3 and putting a mask on the teacher is like having a nurse in an operating room as your teacher. Stop talking while they put you to sleep.

For kids this is not a waste of time. If your goal is to spread pneumonia and have developmental delays masks are very effective.

Even that's not good enough.

It's got to be a fitted N95/KN95 mask or it's worthless. Fitted means it's contoured to the face to eliminate air gaps. If you have an air gap between face and mask your protection is ZERO.

Note that this means - according to one study - that it is IMPOSSIBLE to effectively mask children or bearded men because there are no fitted child masks and beards mean there WILL be an air gap.

A recent Cambridge study tested several methods of dealing with the dreaded air gap. Their conclusion was that the best method is to wear a mask and then pull pantyhose over your head.

I'm not kidding.

My burden was to help the believers understand the intricacies of "justice" being displayed here because I have learned that many think that murder is worse than trespassing and they don't understand why murderers are let back out on the street to murder again while people who trespassed on Jan 6th are still being treated abusively in prison.

The first problem people have is they think we are all equal and should all be regulated by the same laws equally. Wrong! No longer is it "equal" but rather "equitable". Stacy sitting there at the school in front of all your kids while they are masked and she isn't is her way of balancing out all those injustices done 200 years ago with injustices being done today. There is a proverb that says something like "two wrongs make a right" or something like that, anyway that is the concept here.

Didn't she realize that many people would object saying "hey, why aren't you wearing a mask?" Of course she knew, this is how you root out racism. All those people saying she was being a hypocrite did not understand that she was balancing out past wrongs with present wrongs. This is the new and non racist form of math. Anyone who objects will be labeled a racist.

This misconception about what is justice and what is a crime is quite evident in the current reporting concerning GoFundMe. In a nutshell people donated $10 million to a charity set up on GoFundMe for the Truckers who are protesting the mandates in Canada. GoFundMe decided that rather than give the money to the Truckers they would give it to their favorite charities like Planned Parenthood. However, they did agree to return it to any whiny conservatives who wanted their money back.

I have seen this behavior described as fraudulent but the only way this could possibly be seen as fraudulent is if you think the money that was donated belonged to the people who donated it to give to whoever they wish. This is an obvious misconception. True they had the money in their bank accounts and you were led to believe that you could do with it as you wish, I'll concede that point, but there was an understanding that you would spend it on things the government wanted you to spend it on which was basically anything other than this protest against the government.

Remember what Jesus said -- whose image and superscription is on that money? Canada's. So it really belongs to Canada, they just loaned it to you to spend on things they approved, kind of like an allowance from your parents. So if you see that it really isn't your money, then obviously there is nothing fraudulent about Canada stepping in and saying hey, I don't agree with you spending the money on that!

Hope that clears up that little misconception.

And another misconception is that some are characterizing Jen Psaki calling for Spotify to censor Joe Rogan as a violation of the constitution. But is it?

Everyone agrees that the constitution only applies to the US government and not private business. If a company like Facebook wants to "factcheck" some post they don't like and delete it that is no different than any publisher exercising editorial oversight (except of course unlike publishers they are exempt from all rules and regulations on a publisher).

So if we agree that a private company can censor you it's just the US government that can't then it is a simple matter to see that Jen Psaki is not actually representing the US government. instead the country is run by an oligarchy, private companies, so you see Jen is merely a puppet of these Oligarchs. This means it is really the private companies that are censoring you not the US government which has been co-opted by the Oligarchs.

But then why did they even need Jen Psaki to call for them to censor Joe Rogan? Duh, it is the same reason why did Adam and Eve wear fig leaves around their private parts? No one wants to see all that stuff.

Doesn't it? It represents slavery to the god called COVID-Moloch, since cloth masks are utterly useless against a virus. They muzzled everyone to shut up and go along with the false narrative.

What's more serious than ignoring their own masking rules is fraud. Abrams has been (and may still be) involved with election fraud in Georgia through the New Georgia Project.
"The New Georgia Project, which was founded by failed Peach State gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, was named as one of four voter registration groups under investigation for improper registration activities, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said."... The New Georgia Project was also investigated in 2014 over allegations it forged voter registration applications.

Wow, the ADL explains racism

This definition is so clear even a kid in elementary school can understand it which is why they are teaching it in elementary school.

Racism: The marginalization and/or oppression of people of color based on a socially constructed racial hierarchy that privileges white people.

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/20...-us-kids-includes-language-whites-can-racist/
So please, enough with the whiny conservative angst, socially constructed racial hierarchy that privileges people of color is not, by definition, racism.
