With such a powerful voice, I always thought Kevin Max must have been legit, until I watched the music videos and heard his recent crazy ramblings.

Go ahead, watch a DC Talk video, and watch Kevin Max stare into the camera like he's a wanna-be male model. He might have been able to have been one once upon a time, but still.. was he out to simply praise the Lord, or just get himself over and make money?

A powerful voice is a gift given to many people; it does nothing to indicate the legitimacy of the singer's spiritual walk. Take a listen to the song, "What If I Stumble" and see where the band members' hearts were at the time. Maybe you're judging the wrong things?

I like DC Talk's music, but do you think the venture was entirely genuine or was there an element of manipulation of a population to live out a rockstar dream and use a sector of music to do it..

If you have listened to that particular song lately, then you have your answer. If not, nothing I say will make a difference.

Dude, I've heard the song... if you're caught up in some jive, feel-the-moment lingo and are going to get lost in mere cliche lyrics and cliche chord changes, you're as easily duped as many people. Stop being so obtuse.

"What if I stumble" is a wonderul song, but you can't just reference it to cure all your ills, or prove any point.

Meanwhile, Kevin Max has denounced the faith and become a rabid heathen, don't you agree?

Meanwhile, Kevin Max has denounced the faith and become a rabid heathen, don't you agree? He describes himself as an "Exvangelical"

He denounces the bible by saying: "“I don’t think the God that I believe in is just all the sudden Going to ignore me because I don’t believe every single thing that’s written down somewhere.”

He clearly basically thinks that if he feels something, it's true, and he's going to "preach" the faith based on his own rabid, misinformed, radical, personal doctrine that is separate from Christ.

But, as he says, it will bring "comfort" to people, even if it leads them away from Christ. What a heathen, he does far more harm than any non-believer can do by leading possible/questionable believer to himself rather than to Christ.

Don't you agree?

"Obtuse"? This conversation is over.
