God will open the mysteries if you ask him to.

What's the most incredible Mystery that the Lord has shown you?
Off and on since I read your request yesterday, I've been pondering how to answer..

The problem I have with the question is that most think they are ready for whatever God has... as if they were born mature, open, and spiritually discerning enough to grasp the very deepest concepts of God, but in reality they aren't even able to discern the most basic aspects... and they don't even realize it.

Does that sound like an attempt to be grandiose? I'm guessing it does. So let me give an example:

Most people don't even know how to discern the Spirit of God.

They CLAIM to. They quote scriptures that talk about how to discern the Spirit... But when it gets right down to it they cannot tell you concretely and unwaveringly if a single person beyond the end of their nose HAS or DOESN'T HAVE the Spirit of Christ / the Holy Spirit / the Holy Ghost.

Most of the mysteries of God require that basic discernment.

Then they usually reverse their position and claim nobody can discern whether another person has the Holy Ghost or not. Well, that reversal just means they're admitting they don't know whether their pastor is of God or not because Romans 8:9 says "Now if any man have not the Spirit if Christ, he is none of his."

That inability to truly discern the spirit of God in a person puts them at tremendous risk... And disqualifies them from claiming they are ready to understand the mysteries of God that are based on that basic discernment.

Yes, that means I won't share some of the heavier mysteries until I know you've solved that one (by seeking God). But NO, that doesn't mean God is unwilling to show you... or that I think you aren't able to receive it, or anyone else is unable to receive understanding of the mysteries of God IF THEY ASK GOD SINCERELY, etc. It just means that I stand behind the implications of my OP... It is worth seeking God until HE answers, and I encourage people to do so with their whole heart rather than flippant requests.

PLEASE NOTE: That was not an attempt to paste your request to me as flippant. It was to clarify that if a person truly wants God to answer, they need to seek God with an appropriate level of respect and seriousness. (I'd searched "flippant" to assure its meaning).

Ok, well . . . I am incredibly busy studying for an extremely difficult exam to be a Real Estate Broker. All I do is eat, sleep, study and participate in this forum. I'm about 2/3 of the way complete in the process and am about 2.5 months in. I have no job, no income and need to keep studying so that I can get a job and start supporting myself. I have no unemployment income. That said, I was just hoping that you could express what you think is the greatest mystery that the Lord has shown you.

So, I guess, at this point . . . I'll let this thread go. Don't be offended . . . I just don't have the time for this kind of thing.

May the Lord grant you the most incredible of Blessings.

Fair enough. No worries. No offense taken. I will add you to my prayer list for your needs, etc.

One mystery I do feel ok sharing (and will share a little more than I have before) is the answer to "What is the purpose of this life?".

He said "It is for man to choose" in the idea of this place (basically the universe) exists so there is a time and place where sin is possible (not recommended) and man has an opportunity to choose between good and evil, God and not God.

The reason for this choice is that God is seeking a bride and he will not force her to love him.. So he set up an environment that appears to be independent of God's direct influence and supervision, where the true choices of 'who and what do you love' can be made.

When the test has run its course and the choices have been made, he will fold the heavens up and change them, destroying the old in the fire, and creating new heavens and a new earth where righteousness and truth will abound, and death, sorrow, crying and pain will be no more.

Sorry, I wasn't toying with you.

Thank you for sharing, and no, I didn't think that you were necessarily toying with me as others, here, clearly do. And in light of my studies, I probably shouldn't even be here participating if I can't respond as you would have liked. I'll admit that I should reconsider my participation. Thanks for understanding.

I appreciate the reply. It helps me NOT categorize you in a negative light even though you had pre-announced your departure from the forum and would have been fully within your rights to do so. (I'm admitting I'm not perfect...yet :))

Truly, if you decide to withdraw from the forum and spend that time in prayer (especially) and reading for the sake of learning whatever GOD wants you to learn that day, He will start opening mysteries of his word to you.

Then when you come back, you can tell ME the greatest thing he showed YOU. :)

Unfortunately, I'm studying to pass the Real Estate Broker's exam. I'm at least two months in . . . and only 2/3rds of the way done. It's unbelievable. I've got to TRY to stay focused, as I have no unemployment insurance nor a job. This is costing me thousands as I study and try to find employment.

Ephesians 1:16-23
16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

This test sheet will allow you to filter the test by single question and [live] show the correct answer on an assumption that you do eventually choose the correct answer to each test question. The purpose of using it is to expose you to the predicative litigant and federal case for why each question is formed and answered the way it is. It will also give you an intuitive window to sense your own misconceptions - where you have any - taken from the core learning material you are using.

No offense, but you're not going to overstep God's boundaries by revealing any mysteries that have been solved for you. God opens us up to what He wants us to know when He wants us to know it. The scriptures are right there for everyone, but until their hearts are open to receiving it, it means nothing to them.

This is an amazing post to wake up to. Thank you so much! I will be taking an exam today and should I pass, I will have qualified for two thirds of the opportunity to even be allowed to take the state exam for a Real Estate Broker. Without passing this exam, and then the following exam, I will not be allowed to take the state-level exam. So, THANK YOU! I believe that I will pass. :)
