What is your best support from the prophet regarding the celebrated 'memorial' nature of the sacrifices he writes of?

There are several "natures" taught in the Bible, but I've never heard of a memorial nature. I use many many translations and this nature isn't mentioned. Can you describe it for us?

MacArthur: Exact offerings, in language just as definitive as the literal descriptions in Moses’ day, are also just as literal here. They are of a memorial nature;

And you can read about them in Scofield's notes and a hosts of DF (Dispensational Futurist) books .

Frankly though I dont believe your feigned ignorance

I'll ask the same question of you ?

Since its obvious if you had a real response to the OP you would have posted it there is no need for you to answer the question above, better the standard emotional nonsense.

You may find this page (<= link) an interesting read :)
Thanks I wasn't sure what this was talking about at first, but I remember talking about it before under different names.

If I understand correctly, this is about how pre-tribbers believe that when a third temple is built that animal sacrifices will be reinstated. However, being unable to make the desired "memorial nature of the sacrifices" mesh with Ezekiel 40-48, they needed to invent dual covenant theology which allows two covenants to exist side by side. The old covenant, they say, is not obsolete and applies to Jews and the new covenant applies to Christians.

Now THATS funny. Blasphemous but funny. But as in the OP , if real support for the memorial nature if the sacrifices exist the first place in the prophecy itself, then the apostles. And you're right the only support is wholly manufactured out of necessity.

The author/s also talk about how it clashes with Hebrews 9:9-14. I only skimmed through it, and thought it raised some interesting questions and counter conjectures on the matter of future sacrifices. I neither condone nor necessarily agree with any of it LOL. Just thought it was interesting reading and hoped someone may benefit from it :) And it did address what the OP asked about...

Do you have any additional words of discouragement for me? Go ahead . . . pile them on. I only wish that you'd say these things to my face . . . I'd love it.
