Folks, I don't recommend that we be drunk or use drugs when we chat on Christian forums.

This thread needs some cute puppies:geek:

Nope. It needs well thought out practical responses to the OP and if you have no interest there please take your puppies and go play somewhere else.

Hmmm. I gave a link. What are your thoughts on what Ezekiel was saying?

Paul tells us when he refers to living sacrifices and lively stones.
So the sacrifice Ezekiel was referring to was ourselves? As in,
future believers who make up the temple/Body of Christ?

Do you think Paul just picked those illustrations out of thin air ? It was Paul's job to interpret the ancient Scriptures and he did so under the care of the Holy Spirit.

The trouble is simple. If your system requires literalizing and futurizing Eze's temple you are obliged to follow the same with regard to his stated reasons for the sacrifices, which are 'sin offerings' .

Paul. Yes. Yes, Paul did an excellent job of tying everything together.

They won't. In fact, they will be an insult!
