Please pray for my Son Elijah...

Elijah is 16 and has recently become a Dad. The girl is older than him, but he wants to be a good Father to the baby and to do right by the girl. He is vulnerable and needs prayer. Things are very difficult for him at this time, with boys around him who encourage him to smoke Cannabis and do bad things. He loves the baby. He hasn’t been home since he was 14. I have been encouraging him to trust God with his problems. He has no male role model to help him. Thank you for any prayers.

It is a tough age to have that kind of responsibility ....and having friends that just want to do what guys do.....it's tough to separate yourself from that, but it has been done and can be done by him... A roll model would be ideal, as his friends are not going to be much encouragement. Jesus Christ would be a great roll model .....but until he is at that point .....I will pray that someone will step up.

I am going to say a prayer for your son for the Holy Spirit to comfort and guide him.

Try to encourage him to go to a good church. If his dad is not in the picture then he needs a strong male Christian role model which a pastor should be.

An update on the situation with Elijah: there is ongoing and truly amazing progress with Elijah; please continue to pray, he really is trying his best and I am seeing breakthroughs; God really is answering prayer... it’s not easy but I am SO thankful for God’s mercy and help.
