You said: "I wish that everyone knew about this Power and what it feels"

You just prayed what Moses prayed as well - Numbers 11:24-30

So Moses went out and told the people the words of the Lord, and he gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people and placed them around the tabernacle. 25Then the Lord came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him, and placed the same upon the seventy elders; and it happened, when the Spirit rested upon them, that they prophesied, although they never did so again.

26But two men had remained in the camp: the name of one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad. And the Spirit rested upon them. Now they were among those listed, but who had not gone out to the tabernacle; yet they prophesied in the camp. 27And a young man ran and told Moses, and said, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.”

28So Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, one of his choice men, answered and said, “Moses my lord, forbid them!”

Then Moses said to him, “Are you zealous for my sake? Oh, that all the Lord’s people were prophets and that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them!”

Which brings us to JESUS the Mediator of a BETTER Covenant = the Gospel of John and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit
I'm not surprised he spoke that same prayer he is a very spirit filled person, also i have a sneaky suspicion that talking about the holy spirit makes him more inclined to make an appearance which I think he just popped in through @2ndTimothyGroup

Just listened to Tasha Cobbs = Beautiful and TRUE = Thank You
You know, for a lot of people who are biblically illiterate, their primary source of theology does not come from sunday school or church service, but lyrics of worship music - also some particular country music. At least that's the case for me. That's why I mentioned that song title. I didn't grow up in a Christian home, and I couldn't comprehend the history of His story, but I listened to Music Inspired by the Story by Nichole Nordman, an extraordinaty album of the entire bible packed in an album from the Creation to the Second Coming, every track was recorded by a different CCM artist telling the story from the perspective of one prominent character. That's the voice of God that piqued my interest and led me to dig deeper in the holy rabbit hole. When you brought up Holy Spirit and oil, this line immediately popped up on my mind.

I have only felt it once before when I was saved but it was like life surging through your body like power or electricity through your veins even with that description it doesn't do it justice. The thing is i haven't felt it sense i get a vague sense of it i can easily imagine what it feels like but haven't felt it sinse then.

I can pretty much describe things that i haven't felt in real life to like the healing touch of his hand for instance I can easily imagine the soothing feeling of my body being healed as if it actually was being healed like your tired body in a nice warm bath soothing relaxing serene gentle or putting nice cold water on your hot dry throat cooling soothing as if taking the roughness away the dryness the harshness.

It's strange really how vividly i can imagine things like that almost as if they are actually happening yet they never do
I regularly feel something like that, but it doesn't feel like electricity to me. It feels like cool water mending my crushed spirit. I go through a lot of things in my personal life that I don't share here. Let's just say I need healing a lot.

Unfortunately, these days most worship music are highly repetitive and noisy without much depth in theology. Jesus specifically warned about that in the Sermon on the Mount, that Pharisees liked to pray loudly and proudly in public, while pagans liked to chant with their vain repetitions. Those music are guilty of both.

Even so there does seem to be a key difference in having the holy spirit and actually walking in his spirit and power, do you remember when Jesus asked Peter who he thought he was and Peter replied you are the Christ and he said this has been revealed to you through the holy spirit?
Hi Blain. There's a difference between the works of the Spirit you're talking about.
First, there's a measure of the Holy Spirit we all receive at salvation. It immediately changes us, giving us a greater degree of understanding of God, Jesus, & the Kingdom of God.

Then there's the Baptism of the Holy Spirit which we read of in Acts 2. This is what Jesus speaks of in receiving a baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire.
This is something every christian should research, study to the fullest, and pray to receive . Acts 2 states this was prophesied by the prophet Joel for the church.
I strongly suggest researching the scriptures first & foremost & not believe what others printed in the 3rd-4 centuries. This baptism is for every saved person to have gifts & abilities to serve the Lord in a more excellent way. The Apostle Paul teaches about them in his epistles to the church as an unending ministry in the church.
This is NOT a temporary thing done by our Lord until the Bible was completed. This is for all christians until we are gloriously changed to our new, eternal bodies.
And even then, as glorious & wondeful as it is, it is still only partially glorious compared to receiving our new bodies that will be erternal.

1Cor 13:8Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when the perfect(final change) comes, the partial will pass away. 11When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. 12For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.

I hope this answers your question fully. If not, just ask again. :)

Yes it helps a lot, I had a vision not to long ago of me walking in this power and spirit where I walked his presence followed his power and spirit was inside me and all around me I was infused deeply in it I did mighty works of God in his name it was nowhere near the same thing i have with him now which is partly why i was curious. I have been waiting i have felt a calling but have been told countless times by God to wait I am itching to be more thansimply this and he knows my eagerness he sometimes laughs at my eagerness not in a mean way of course. but this vision i had has me wanting to know more and has lead me to seek the spirit more as well.

I have understanding and he gives wisdom but as far as works goes he uses me here and there but nothing grand and certainly nothiing like what Jesus did even though I believe in such things and yet this vision probes my heart this person I saw doing these things was me yet wasn't me it stirs my thoughts and i can't get it out of my mind, just remembering what it felt like is indescribable words simply cannot explain it fire electricity plasma I don't know how to describe what was flowing through me but it was strong

I would be careful with dreams, because they're not always as we think they are.
Sometimes dreams can set us up with these "feelings" of power to give us an air of arrogance & pride. True dreams about God's anointing & call are to direct us in service and ministry to others. It should never make us feel "super" or powerful in any way that simply makes us feel good. It's not about feeling, it's about loving service to God & man.

Jesus promised "My yoke is easy and my burden is light." A yoke is a farming tool, usually put on the necks of two oxens, and when they work together, they can pull much heavier weight than twice of what each individual oxen is capable to pull. Now picture this - a yoke on you and the Holy Spirit. No matter how far have you fallen off the beaten path, even when you feel like you're at the end of your rope and there's no tomorrow, He is always with you and moving beside you. When you're equally yoked with the Holy Spirit, your burden will be lightened, for He carries it for you.

You got it, Brother. You read me well, as this saying from Moses is precisely what I was thinking about. In all of the Bible, this passage from Moses is all original. No one expresses this thought as did Moses. It is such a deeply profound passage, as Joshua calls for Eldad and Medad to be killed for what they have done. In contrast, Joshua is rebuked, for the Lord will grant His Grace and Mercy to anyone He so chooses. Anyone who experiences the Almighty Power of God . . . well, it is no accident. To receive this remarkable Grace . . . there is nothing else like it. To receive this Grace, it is the single greatest thing anyone could ever hope for while in this human sack of flesh that carries around our Spirit like a ship carrying precious cargo.

When I read this phrase from Moses for the first time after my Powerful Indwelling, it stood out to me like seeing the Grand Canyon fo the first time . . . (gasp!)

I love our Bible so much. I simply cannot believe the remarkable things that it holds.

I wish that we would tell of our experiences more. These experiences are meant to be an encouragement for others. But unfortunately, and just as Paul found, many people take our experiences as "boasting." I've also been told that I'm "proud" and that when I write, "It's all about me." Couldn't be further from the Truth. I do wish that we would share our experiences with each other instead of being kept hidden under a bowl so that no one can see, or hear. But instead, I express my experience of God as though it were a light upon a hill. Yes, my experience has been both a blessing and a curse; and as it is a curse, it breaks my heart.

Anyway, I would love to hear of what you've experienced from our Powerful, Almighty God.

Rest assured, Blain writes to me occasionally in private email asking me what I think of his dreams. Blain is not quick to assert or assume their meaning, but seeks assistance to Truly understand them when he feels the need (and or, desire). Blain is "good beans." :)

God loves our stories and He has a name even though we often just refer to Him as God or Lord. Our relationship with Him is personal and intimate. He wants to feel what we are feeling and actively monitors what we are feeling, truly experiencing it Himself. He wants to offer His help to us, but often won't tolerate testing either. God really cares about us. I don't know why for sure I can experience what I experience, but I agree it can feel like a blessing and a curse. *These are just my experiences and personal testimony.

Ecclesiastes 1:18 KJV
18For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.

Luke 12:48 KJV
48But the one who unknowingly does things worthy of punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and from him who has been entrusted with much, even more will be demanded.

Matthew 13:16-17 KJV
16But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. 17For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Have faith and wait on God. He recognizes true faith.

Psalm 27:14 KJV
14Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Wonderful. And I particularly related to Ecclesiastes 1:18 . . . the KJV is incredible. I don't know why, but I don't have this verse in my catalog of Bible verses. It is a critical passage that can be used as evidence for genuine Transformation. It can be used as evidence to help a person determine if they have been saved or not. This passage can be used to determine whether or not we have received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

I also relate passionately to Luke 12:48. Here is the NLT translation: "But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required."

In my personal commentary on this passage, I wrote:

"I have been beaten into submission. I finally have come to the point of agreeing with the Lord that I will stop complaining, that I will pick up my cross and carry it without saying anything in return. I will keep my mouth shut, for even when I defend myself, my defense is used against me. Thus, I have no defense. I will be silent."

It is an incredibly unfair world . . . and the Holy Life of Jesus shows us exactly that. But . . . we must follow in His footsteps.

Water baptism is purely the desire of God for us to initially identify with the Death and resurrection of Christ.
We, who believe, do this as an act of obedience and faith in His word = Matthew 28:18-20
Water baptism cannot save anyone, is outward, is symbolic and is a 'one and done' outward act.

IMPORTANT: There is much more to CHRIST's example for us to follow then water baptism.

I (John the Baptist) indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

The GREATER BLESSING, by FAR, is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit = Gospel of John and Acts
I (John the Baptist) indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Aspects of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit are:
#1 Eternal from the Holy Spirit
#2 Inward-in our spirit
#3 Commanded by the Lord = Gospel of John & Acts
#4 Essential in knowing Truth = John 16:13
#5 Glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ = John 16:14
#6 Is an Essential Blessing for being a True Witness of God = Acts 1:4-8
#7 Is an Essential Blessing for our walk with God = Galatians 5:16-18
#8 Protects us from the danger in trusting religion by not seeking to be filled with the Holy Spirit = Matthew 25:1-13
#9 Protects us from blaspheming the Holy Spirit which can lead to damnation = Luke 12:10
#10 Protects us and strengthens us when we face death for our Testimony in Christ = Acts ch6-ch7 and Revelation 12:11

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts. = Read Isaiah ch55

PEACE to all who call upon the Name above all Names = Jesus the Christ = Yashua HaMoshiach
Wonderful and great read i understood this well and makes so much sense i love how you wrote it so easily to understand ty very much :)

Thank you, Brother . . . for this wonderful thread. We have shared the most graceful of messages with one another.
Glory to Jesus!!! I haven't found a convo this rewarding in a while. Yes indeed, just reading this thread has been a real blessing, thank you all!

When I first felt His Spirit it was simply INTENSE!!! For me, it was like an awesome vibration I could feel in my very soul. Like the feeling of holding a weed wacker; but having hands as steady as a surgeon. And His Awesome Power generated an internal heat that I could feel in my core but my surface skin was cool by comparison (no sweat btw). I had to get out of bed and take a cold shower just to bear His presence but even then the Holy Ghost was hot on me. I remember thinking if this is what it was like for Jesus; how on Earth did He manage this? (Surely God is Awesome!)

To your other point, I naively thought I could just tell the world. Then everyone would follow me and join in this amazing gift of God's love. But instead of boasting some thought I had lost it. I mean, who would believe me? John 3:11-12 comes to mind here but out of curiosity: How do/should we go about explaining spiritual aspects to others who have 0 exposure to the Holy Spirit?

This Power is beneficial to the OPs thread. It is all so unbelievable. I wish that everyone knew about this Power and what it feels like.
This is my daily prayer! :)
