Jesus was crucified DURING a High Sabbath. The first day of unleavened bread.
The Pharisees practiced that sabbath did not start until 6pm.
The followers of Jesus did not break God's Sabbath during that day.

That is incorrect. Christ was crucified on the day of Passover (the 14th of Nisan, AD 30), since He is in fact called "Christ our Passover"). Passover began on the evening of the previous day and ended at sunset of Wednesday. The next day would be the Feast of Unleavened Bread (which was also a high Sabbath). Thus Christ would fulfill both the feasts of Passover (by dying on that day as "the Lamb of God") and First Fruits (by rising from the dead as the "First Fruits of them that slept"). To fulfil all prophecies, He was crucified on Wednesday and rose on Sunday (the first day of the week, called "the morrow after the Sabbath").

Leviticus 23:32
It is to be a Sabbath of complete rest for you, and you shall humble yourselves; on the ninth of the month at evening, from evening until evening, you shall keep your Sabbath.

It appears, according to Leviticus 23, that the Sabbath was observed from evening to evening.

How do you know that Joseph of Arimathea was a Pharisee, the text does not say that.

Crucified on Wednesday and rose on Sunday is a fourth day resurrection!

This is the Sabbath beginning on the eve of the 9th before the DAY of atonement. It is a High Sabbath specified by God for this ONE PARTICULAR event. It has NOTHING to do with when a Biblical DAY starts.

It doesn't matter whether Joseph was good or bad. You said Joseph was a Pharisee without any supporting evidence from the text. You can't do that.

You need to support your idea that the first day of Unleavened Bread was a high Sabbath.

You will not find the evidence in Leviticus 23, because the first day of UB is not called even a Sabbath. Let alone a high Sabbath.

Jesus was crucified on a Wednesday, he died and was buried that evening which is when Thursday started. The three days in the grave is Thursday, Friday and Saturday, rising from the dead when Saturday first turned into Sunday.

When a sabbath arrives, one can commence to say "Shabbat shalom" at sunset and continue with that sentiment until sunset the next day. A high sabbath is distinct from the seventh day sabbath in that it does not need to fall on the seventh day of the week as the event makes the day a sabbath rather than the day qualifying the event as a sabbath. These verses show a high sabbath preparation for Passover, when the lamb is slain for the Passover meal and prepared for the meal that evening when the (high Sabbath of) Passover arrives. In the exodus this is the time the Israelites placed the blood on the doorposts:
John 19:14 It was the day of Preparation for the Passover, about the sixth hour. And Pilate said to the Jews, “Here is your King!”
John 19:31 It was the day of Preparation, and the next day was a High Sabbath. In order that the bodies would not remain on the cross during the Sabbath, the Jews asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies removed.

Then Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John speak of the first day of the week, which is clearly after the seventh day weekly sabbath, "very early in the morning of an "evening and the morning" day which would conclude that Sunday evening.

Jesus said in Matthew 12:40, "For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth," so we conclude our count on a night: Saturday, Friday, Thursday night...then fill in the days, Saturday, Friday, Thursday day.... and so we Have Thursday morning (day of preparation of Passover and Jesus crucified and buried), Thursday night (high Sabbath of Passover arrives), Friday morning (normally day of preparation for weekly sabbath because it is 6th day of the week but I'm not sure if there is any prep being that it is also Passover in this instance), Friday night (7th day Shabbat arrives), Saturday morning (7th day Shabbat), Saturday night (first day of the week arrives). Sunday morning , at dawn, Jesus is definitely no longer in the belly of the earth.

If the count begins at burial, in the evening, then Sunday morning has to be included in the count if Jesus indeed died on Thursday, unless it is valid that 'in the heart of the earth' is an idiom for death.

A high sabbath (also known as a double-sabbath) is when one of the holy days coincide with the seventh-day Sabbath.
Example:
The First Day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread is a sabbath and begins on the 15th day of Nisan. The Passover lamb is to be killed at twilight on the 14th day or just before sundown. The Hebrew calendar marks the start and end of days from sunset to sunset as opposed to our modern calendar which goes from midnight to midnight.
That day may fall on any day of the week. But if it happens to fall on the seventh-day of the week, it is called “a high sabbath.”

At the Crucifixion of Jesus, the seventh-day of the week also happened to be the 15th of Nisan that year. Jesus was killed on Friday just before sunset on the 14th of Nisan. This means that Jesus laid in the tomb during a High Sabbath because the 15th of Nisan coincided with the seventh-day of the week.

This is logical because The pattern God had given Israel for many years was perfectly fulfilled by Jesus. The lamb died just before the 15th of Nisan the perfect Passover lamb.

OKAY, I mean, okay, sorry had caps lock on there...I'll go back and check that definition of a high sabbath, I may and probably have misnamed Passover a "high sabbath" but I do know for sure it is a sabbath whatever day it falls on.

I might go back and change the nomenclature of days to nights to 'daylight' and 'moonlight' to try and get a better understanding regarding the counts of the days
