This is my second time around here, but I had several strange encounters with women here who private messaged me my first time around.

Without going too deep into the details, those strange encounters included a married woman basically telling me that she wanted me to father her child and a woman asking me to join in joint masturbation with her as we talked dirty to each other. The latter ultimately got banned after I tried unsuccessfully to minister God's word to her (and she was actually in a ministry in her church) and finally reported her because I heavily suspected that she was approaching other men here as well with her tactics.

Anyhow, I'm just mentioning this to let everyone know that "creepy" isn't a one way street.

Speaking of "creepy", it's definitely in the eye of the beholder, and also definitely not always an accurate assessment of one's true character.

At my end, I'm a devout God-fearing man, and there have been several times on this forum, both in my first time here and in my present time here, when simply trying to respectfully minister God's word to a woman here has gotten me wrongly labeled.

A lot of people have baggage, and it's not uncommon to take someone else's bullet, so to speak, or to have somebody else's wrongs projected unto you.

Just keep your focus on God, the true Judge, and if you're doing what is right in his eyes, then you need not worry how someone else will perceive it...and some (many?) will inevitably see it all wrong.

Such is life...

P.S.

Oranges.

I have two every day, but I also love a whole range of other fruits as well (strawberries, grapes, mangos, blueberries, etc., etc.).

Really not a junk food guy.

Not with natural food, and definitely not with spiritual food.
Excellent post sir. Said it better than I did, and I'm marvelously and fantastically and magnificently articulatious!

Actually, I thought that your post (#19) was spot on, and that is why I liked it.

Anyhow, I've basically given up on women, even though they're my favorite part of God's creation (in theory, at least, but, sad to say, not in personal practice).

It just seems like you're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Whatever.

That said, there are a lot of horrible "men" (used loosely) out there, so I can understand, to a degree, why women are so leery.

However, that doesn't help the real men too much.

in fact, not at all.

I've taken so many other guys' bullets that I might as well just get a job as a target at a gun range.

My pity party is over.

Would anybody like a piece of leftover cake before I throw it out?

lol (even though it's really not funny, but sad).

Yeah, me too.

My final (?) piece of advice for everyone (myself included) is this:

Men, concentrate on becoming the type of man/potential husband that God wants you to be. If you want to be a husband, then you need to be willing to lay your life down for your wife as Christ laid his life down for the church.

Women, concentrate on becoming the type of woman/potential wife God wants you to be. If you want to become a wife, then you need to be willing to reverence your husband as the church reverences Christ.

Sad to say, my own personal experience has shown me time and time again that far too many men are focusing on what needs to be changed in the woman, and far too many women are focusing on what needs to be changed in the man.

Let's all take the beams out of our own eyes FIRST, and then see what happens.

I think it’s mostly about getting to know each other in the forums. That takes quite some time, maybe years. What a person is saying in his or her posts over time can help you get a glimpse of said person’s intentions.
I absolutely agree with what you have said. Two long time members could be talking back and forth and a new member may not have any idea of what is really being said.

Time could be a factor, but so could Holy Spirit discernment.

I mean, does anybody pray anymore?

I'm asking because there seems to be so much misunderstanding of peoples' true intentions at times, and, the last that I heard, the Holy Spirit was the Spirit of truth.

I could be wrong... and I often am... but, I believe a woman's general criticism of men is something that has naturally evolved over thousands of years to weed out the "wimpy, whining, self-loathing, immature, lazy, mama's boys!"

All present company excluded of course... :giggle:

Relationships are a lot like "religion"... You can bow and pray to a can of pork-n-beans five times a day but you'll never find God. The trick is to always be honest and unashamed until you find someone who agrees with you

Was trying to find a clever title that would not attract scammers or people with bad intension.

Was wondering do women get harassed a lot on CC, like men with un Christian like actions.
I am still new and getting used to the way thing work here.
Maybe some tips to avoid looking creepy. It feel like starting a private conversation with a single women seems intrusive. Do not know another way to ask a question. It might be how I ask the question. Like getting to person, are giving an unwanted compliment.
I am a bit socially awkward with with women and want to be more considerate to women.
Yeah it is not helpful to me to be told "be your self". Yes I do know about it takes to for people to get to know me.
Help a guy out, for me and others like me. Also helps other men to know this info so they do overwhelm women or act unchristian like with bad manners. Best to be polite and considerate to others tell they get to know is want i try to do.

Dunno id just say be consistent with whatever you do but don't spam or press females for attention in private messages it's cringy, if you're interesting enough characterwise they and people in general will come around. Being true to yourself is good advice because usually people spend so much time trying to mold themselves into being likeable that they shave bits of who they really are off and they miss opportunities of being themselves to others in effect cheating their own selves out of the experience. Being natural is easy but you have to be comfortable with yourself enough with yourself to pull it off infront of others though. Consistent character is what makes a person interesting to me personally even if hardly anyone likes that person, at least i can see that they are for real.

And now onto the title of favorite fruit, because i have a bit of a sweet tooth i would say mango.

Yeah, I was kind of waiting for the reaction -- but not 100% sure if they had some sort of understanding between them that allowed for those kind of remarks or not. Obviously, it's not LOL

I also was wondering if there was some inside joke I didn't know about.
