It becomes clear when the "be ready" context is added.
Because in Matthew 24 the Lord mentions twice watching and being ready, concerning the one taken.
in Luke 17 one of the examples "at night sleeping". If that is true why with the one that's being left need to be ready for anything? Wants to component of watch and be ready is added to those verses, I cannot see anyting but it implying the Rapture.
Here is Matthew 24;
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

The one staying need not watch.
Watch for what?

The rapture is the event where watching and being ready applies
You’ve been admonished about this before . There is no question that there will be a rapture but when will it be is the question. The rapture is the catching up of living believers who do not proceed the dead in Christ rising first at the SECOND coming of Christ. aka the Last Day , The Day of God, etc. Visible , noisy , and public. As a believer being ready is being ready for the return of Christ who descends from heaven with a Shout, the Voice of the Archangel , and the Trump, Trumpet of God. The dead in Christ rise , the living believers are caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air. They continue with the Lord in his Journey with armies of Heaven , flaming fire takes vengeance on the living who know not God and obey not the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. The saints reign with Christ a thousand years, God makes a new Heaven and a new earth. Not my testimony the testimony of scripture.

It seems most people think of "the rapture" as being given a glorified body and then taken to heaven. All before the Tribulation.

However, there are no verses that show such a trip. In fact, in all the resurrection passages indicate the resurrection will occur "when He comes", (1 Cor 15:23) or "at the coming of our Lord Jesus" (2 Thess 2:1).

Since the OT prophesied of two advents of the Messiah, we know that in the NT, all references to "the coming" refers to the second Advent, since the first advent had already occurred.

So we know when the resurrection will occur. When Jesus returns at the Second Advent. This is clearly stated in both 1 Cor 15:23 and 2 Thess 2:1 and even Rev 20:5.

I think we are saying the same thing in a different way
