Well, lizards have invaded the lounge just as I feared, the casino is a bit of a gamble but not everyone wants to date, and some people actually mistook the salon for a hair salon

So instead I bring you the Comfort Zone where we can all hang out in comfort.

Bring a cushion and soft blankets and whatever else makes you comfy.

I am installing hammocks
Am I the only one who has ever been spun around in a hammock...only to eventually be dropped on the ground?

I'm holding out for a bed with four solid legs...and preferably no killer clowns hiding under it.

Several years ago, when I had my own retail business, I sold, among other things, Queen-sized and King-sized blankets. Mostly ones with animals/wildlife on them. In fact, I'm lying in bed underneath a double-sided lion blanket (different lion image on either side) as I type.

Lions were always my favorite animals, and even more so after I came to know "the Lion of the tribe of Judah". (Rev. 5:5) I still have a lot of different things with lions on them, but Grizzly bears are now my favorite. Hence, my profile picture.

Anyhow, if my stories don't put people to sleep, then you're immune to comfort...lol.

These are plenty soft, and I think of the animal kingdom more in a futuristic sense:

Isaiah chapter 11

[6] The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
[7] And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
[8] And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
[9] They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

I've always loved nature, and animals especially.

When I first started my own business back around 2001, I actually sold nature photography (sunsets, sunrises, animals, waterfalls, etc., etc.). I used to double-matte the photos and frame them in nice aluminum frames. Each matte had an opening below where the photo went as well, and I included a corresponding Bible verse to go with each photo.

I loved doing that, but, unfortunately, I got thrown out of building after building when people complained about the Bible verses. Ultimately, I switched to selling t-shirts, blankets, etc...mostly with nature designs on them. Anyhow, I'm no longer self-employed.

I painted a tiger (paint by numbers) because it is year of the tiger, but my own tiger mother dismissed my efforts and said it didnt look like a tiger because I used 16 different colour paints on mine instead of just orange, black and white.

So Im going to hang Miss Tiger in the wildlife section of the library where Tiger Mother cant see.

I have bible verses I got from calendars and made into little shadow boxes and set them up in the religious/faith section with my nativity set.

I think ppl, prefer to write their own messages on photos though but if you sold them in a christian bookshop there would be no probs.

ppl are a bit funny about scripture if they are not believers, to them, a sunrise isnt symbolic or makes them think about Jesus . Its just a pretty sunrise.

Potato top mince pie and a hot chocolate seems my go-to comfort food when Im out and about

I have pondered why this is so
I think its because the pies are warm and the filling is kept hot and its nice to eat warm food on a cold day, as well as drink something hot too, and it keeps your hands warm as you eat it too

whereas, hamburgers and chips are do not qualify as comfort food in my world. so maybe food can be two categories

comfort food
and uncomfortable food
