Jude called it...
For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.
(Jude 1:4)
They are ungodly people says a lot, don't you think?

That's not exactly true, is it?

Is the Law to rest on saturdays written on the Christians heart?

No. Otherwise we would all feel the need inside of our consciences to rest every saturday. And also the scripture that says to not let anyone judge you based on a sabbath day would be wrong as well. It would show that anyone NOT resting on Saturdays, as prescribed in Moses Law, was not a true Christian.

If it were the same law that is written on our hearts and minds as what is written in the 10 commandments then it could NEVER be said that we are not under the Law. We would be even MORE under the Mosaic Law if it were written on our hearts and minds.
Thanks. Perchance that is why I believe, Under GRACE (not OT law),
that "the ONE Law Written in my heart" is "The Law Of The Spirit
(with faith which worketh by Love)":

Fulfill ALL Of His Law, In "ONE Word: LOVE thy neighbor
as thyself!" (Galatians 5:14; Romans 13:8-10)
Which Coincides With:

Rom_5:5 "And hope maketh not ashamed; because
The Love Of God is Shed Abroad In our hearts
By The Holy Ghost Which Is Given Unto us."

Now, that's The Simplicity Of [Resting 24/7 In] Christ! Amen?

GRACE And Peace...

I believe that there are the ten commandments to be obeyed or the two commandments that CHRIST gave but not both.
As a matter of fact the Two Greatest Commandments sum up the Ten Commandments, and then they are all summed up in just ONE COMMANDMENT. So you are on the horns of a dilemma.

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you... These things I command you, that ye love one another. (John 15:12,17) For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. (1 John 3:11) And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. (1 John 3:23) Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. (1 John 4:7) And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. (1 John 4:21)

So the Law of Love sums up and supersedes every commandment.

What confuses me most about folks who believe as you, is you say we are under the New covenant of Jesus Christ and yet also believe you are not under the Law of God.
Why is that confusing?
Because A Covenant is a Law, the Law between God and man, wether it be an Old or New Covenant..its still the Law. So when people like you tell me they are not under the Law, they are unknowingly saying they are not under the Law of Christ...the New covenant of Jesus Christ...
Look it up...use the Bible..use a dictionary and they will tell you the same thing.

What was the Old Covenant called? The Law of Moses.
What is the New Covenant called? The Law of Christ.
I never said we weren't under the Law of God.

I said we weren't under the Law. As in the Mosaic Law. As in the 10 commandments.

TOO many people conflate Gods Law with the 10 commandments as a way of putting the Christian back under the Law.

The 7th day Sabbath was for Israel. "The Lord's Day" (the eighth day) is for Christians (Rev 1:10). But the principle remains the same. It is a day set apart for worship, rest, and good works.
I don't remember the 10 commandments commanding a day for worship and good works.

I don't have any problem with you equating the Lords Day with the 7th day sabbath as far as Religious Observances go.

But as far as the 10 commandments go, the Lords Day is not commanded to be observed.

In other words, I would not judge you if you decided to worship on Sunday. Or Saturday. Or Wednesday. I'd just say "Isn't it nice to worship the Lord with like minded people on the day you decided!!?" I would not say it was a commandment that you MUST worship on Sunday. Or Saturday. Or Wednesday. You aren't sinning against God if you don't worship on that day.

Why separate the 10 from all the rest.....general reference to commandments or?
Ten commandments the administration of death engraved on stone was given to Moses by GOD to give to the children of Israel but JESUS although HE kept the law HE changed the law to the law of liberty and after he changed the ten to the two for man sake HE didn’t teach the apostles to keep the ten commandments but he gave them two commandments and In order for man to keep the two commandments they have to be born again GODS workmanship created IN CHRIST unto good works.

Hebrews 9:1-9
King James Version

1 Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.

2 For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.

3 And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;

4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;

5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.

6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.

7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:

8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:

9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
+++
Ephesians 2:8-11
King James Version

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

11 Wherefore remember, that ye [being] in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

Yes.

This is what is writen on my heart;

love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.

As was Prophesied in the OT;
Ezekiel 36:26-27
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Which is along the same lines as what you said, I think...

So the Law of Love sums up and supersedes every commandment.
But men loved darkness and could not keep the ten commandments perfectly with love and In TRUTH that GOD would accept.
Love Is a fruit of the Spirit that GOD would have to give.

Some might ask,how does a person receive this love?

Answer=believe In JESUS and be reborn.

Amen.

John 8:32
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

John 1:17
For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:1-5
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who[a] do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
I was thinking of Romans 8 when I wrote that response.

Kind of my brief summary of the verses you just posted. Of course the scripture says it much better.

Amen bro :)

Romans 12:5
So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

Ephesians 4:11-16
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the [e]edifying of the body of Christ, 13till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, all are one in Christ. Gentiles are a part of the plan to bring Israel back.

This is so totally irrelevant, it is laughable. The Lord's Day is for both Hebrew and Gentile Christians. And it is Christ and God who will supernaturally bring all unbelieving Jews to Israel, after which one third will be saved.

What exactly is "supernaturally" in your mind? And what is your point? For the record, it was the Jesus movement in the 60s and 70s that brought a lot of Jews to Jesus for the first time in history, then many of them moved to Israel to evangelize.

Yes it does...and in the verse...they also deny Jesus. Which a Christian, no matter what doctrine they follow, does not do. So Jude is not talking about the Christian, but many have come to believe they have this License. Because there are Churches, unknowingly, which have created doctrines giving their followers a License to sin.

I knew a man once, who confessed to me that he committed adultery. He was a well regarded teacher in his church. He openly admitted the transgression to me..not as a confession, but to brag about it. I was astonished, because he seemed to feel no shame nor guilt over it. I asked him if he did, and he said No. I asked him why, and he said... "We are not under the Law, We are under Grace".

Pauls teaching, when not taught in a properly founded context, can easily be turned into a license to sin.
All Christians should feel guilt when they sin. They don't, because this teaching gives them no reason to confess their sin before God. And an Unconfessed sin is an unforgiven sin..and an Unforgiven sin leaves the sinner in darkness. Some may argue this point, but If they confess their sin before God..then they will see this Truth for themselves.

Can a soul get to heaven without love for God? I don't think so. What do we do to show our love for God? One thing we do is obey His commandments. Jesus is God, how do we show our love for Jesus? At the Last Supper Jesus asked, "How can you say you love me if you don't obey My commandments." The ten commandments are still intact but Jesus tells us tells us they are fulfilled by 'Love God with your whole heart and your neighbor as yourself.' Do this and you shall have eternal life.

I agree, but saying I’m under Gods law is a long way from believing someone is not under Gods Law. So…it’s a start.

God is the Highest Authority. Everything is under Gods Law.

But Gods Law is not exactly spelled out in Scripture. Its like a treasure you have to find for yourself.
