Yes, i understand this principal of eternity not subject as we are in this realm.
That HE was actually Slain before HE came to earth is not given any credence from Scripture (that i know of).
Furthermore when the LORD speaks a Truth, HE then establishes that Truth for us in the mouth of Two or Three Witnesses.
There is no other Witness in Scripture that Testifies to Christ/Lamb of God suffering TWICE.

There is Testimony Witnesses that Elohim can and does Speak of Things BEFORE They come into Existence as if They already Exist.

#1 Witness: as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—
God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

#2 Witness: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

#3 witness: "slain from the foundation of the world" Rev 13:8 i see this as it is, untouched. Where 'foundation of the world' speaks of Creation and not from Eternity Past. When Elohim set in Order His Will from the Beginning.
This Witness is in Genesis chapter 3. Genesis is the 'foundation of the world' and of all Truth that follows = Comes Forth from

i can speak more on this but not now.

This i know of you, you are able to examine Scripture with/by Scripture. Not all are able or willing to do this.
So please let me know, only from Scripture, where there is another Witness that would speak of a Spiritual Slain Lamb BEFORE HE came to earth = from Scripture only.

My heart rejoices in Truth for i am a truth-seeker of and by the Word. Therefore i look to see that i may SEE and for that Blessing i will always bow my knee.
This is a mystery.

I hear you my friend. We are a bit addicted to needing the scriptures to say "Thus sayith the Lord...". But the mature can dig into the scriptures see the patterns and understand the mind of the Father.

The other witness is that Jesus was able to forgive sins before He died on the cross. He could NOT do this just because He was God the Son. He could only do this because the price had already been paid for the sins to be forgiven. This caused quite a stir, if you recall, from the Jews. But Jesus was functioning out of a higher order of priesthood than that of Levi.

Jesus was administering the pre-existing covenant between God and the Son: prophesied in the Old Testament and fulfilled in the New in front of God, the angels, and man. It's not enough to BE righteous. You must also appear righteous. When He died on the cross the reality of the eternal came into time and space and now functioned for the benefit of all who would believe.

Brother do you only rely on the extremely limited collection of scrolls, now books (bible) to gain a knowledge of an infinite God? I admit I have had to repent from my idolatry then return to God through Christ and having received the Spirit of Truth get truth from Him as my first port of call. I must admit that for a long time I had a better relationship with a book (idol or something I put in the place of God) than I had with God's Spirit of Truth. Once the eyes of my heart were opened I could not return to a book, a human or anything else as I use to. I have ever since relied on the Spirit of God to lead me into truth. Does that mean I don't reflect on the words of my eldest brother Jesus (the Word) or His disciples Paul, Peter, John and others who received words from God as we have to this day? No, the Spirit brings them to mind just as Jesus said He would. But that's my journey with my Father, Jesus and Their Spirit of Truth.

The spirit of truth is not with you as you would not have started this thread and would have known there is no redemption for Satan. You cannot fool me. I will no longer read your posts.

Good Morning,
Praise the LORD Jesus Christ that HE saved you and has given you the Spirit to know Him who was, and is and is to come - Amen.

This verse here is my Testimony(in brief).
"Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together."

The Bible as a book is just a book. The words that are written therein are much more then that.

Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come to do your will, O God, as it is written of Me in the scroll of the book.’”
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

The Holy Spirit of Truth only confirms the Truth to us = from His Word.
"These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."

Pontius Pilate asked the LORD - "what is truth?"

the Redeemed of the LORD know Who the TRUTH is and where HE can be Found.

"But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.
I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth."

Sanctification in Christ, the Word and the Holy Spirit is knowing the FATHER.

without THREE no one can SEE and if you remove any ONE you have no Gospel

PEACE

What makes him ignorant in one area (God's justice) makes him knowledgeable in another area, that of the depths of the mercy and grace of his God do you think?
I would say if he is wrong in this area he is probably wrong in others.

But humanity is not angels that’s why the logic doesn’t follow.
So your premise is that we should not pray for angels simply because they are angels?

I'm not terribly familiar with angelology. Can you help me understand this?

Are you not aware that within The Scriptures there are commandments for believers, and one of them says we are to study the words of God as He has handed them down. They are not to be merely read. It is also presented as a continual ongoing process. So, to avoid the Scriptures is to ignore a commandment from God.

you pray to angels ?
Lucifer is a fallen angel.

Formerly the light bringer, now prince of darkness and lord of this world we're born into and as the fallen human nature human race, belong to him first. Unless or until God calls us to his grace.

I agree with what your friend said.(y)
According to the bible his fate is sealed no amount of prayer will save him he is the literal embodiment of evil as dark as you can go he relishes and delights in pervertness and laughs at God and his creation there is no shred of good in him to save or to have mercy on if there were then that would be different but he is evil pure black heart evil and the bible says what happens to him

Yes in daily prayers in morning and evenings you ask God to surround us with his holy angels and guide us.

Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

A clue that Jesus is talking about men, in the natural world, and not angels, or Satan.

In Matthew, Jesus is giving a correct interpretation of the law; and the law is between men and men, and men and God. Satan has no part in the law.

I don’t myself but I was just curious if that’s what you were saying thanks for the response and clarifying it’s appreciated for discussion

but so your saying you pray to God , to have his angels help and watch over your life ? And not actually pray to the angels right ?
