I just tried to give someone a winner symbol and this notice popped up 'You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action. ' This is the first time in 3 yrs since I've been posting this happened. Why did that happen, and I do donate to CC.

Odd. As you can see, I was just able to give you that "winner" reaction. Try again! We are dealing with computers . . . which aren't perfect. :p

[Edit] - Were they "banned"?

Not banned, it was sister Seoul, and I was going to give her a win. I gave everyone a 'win' who was brave enough to post their pic on that Thread but now I can't find it. Maybe she deleted it or I missed it?

Sounds like you just got caught in the middle of "replication" - Which is where data on one server has to be replicated to another server, meaning that not all servers have the same exact data in the exact same moment. You're good! :D

I've seen that many times. Just refresh or reload the page and try again. That normally fixes it for me.

More than likely Seoulsearch deleted the post after you opened the page but before you tried to add the emoticon. The post would still show on your page, but when you tried to "like" the post it was no longer public thus you not having permission to view the page.

My wife gave me her old laptop when she bought a new one. I have to sign in using her name and password. is there a way I can delete this and insert my name and password? I have tried different things without success.

If you use windows 11 , then that is your operating system...
My OS is windows 10...
Some people use Linux , or old OS like windows 7...

If you go into your settings , you should find change password and user name...
Take your time...If you have trouble with this , YouTube will have a video am sure to walk you through :)
