So, I just finished watching this video, and it reminded me of our conversations here concerning pizza or Italian food in general.

This is the funniest audition that I've ever seen, and you have to watch it until the end to see what ultimately happens.

For now, I'll just tell you that I TOTALLY AGREE with the lyrics of this song that this man wrote and sang, and if you're honest, then I believe that many of you will, too.

Whoever runs for President needs to promote 'Parmesan Cheese' something everyone will go for 😂. Take PR pictures with it and videos of pouring it lavishly on all kinds of pasta. What cracked me up is when Simon started to sing along, then caught himself and stopped. Very enlightening, thx for sharing.

I've spent A LOT of time in pizzerias and Italian restaurants over the years, and his lyrics were spot on.

I've been so brainwashed by what he called "Big Parma" that I've actually felt very uncomfortable at times when my own children used a lot of parmesan cheese at one pizzeria that we've been to several times.

No more.

I've been liberated...lol.

Say it isn't so!!!

My mom was from Naples, so we had a lot of spaghetti and meatballs (her lasagna was the best) when we were growing up.

Parmesan cheese on top of it was a must...

Johnny Depp.
Ok...the guy is a drunkard and a drug addict...

He also doesn't own any skills with which to have a functional relationship...even with his pets.

But he isn't a "bad guy" and is a decent actor.

Amber Heard?
Nope.

And since Johnny won his defamation case against her today...OK Pirate....get back to pirateering.

I prefer Mozzarella. My wife likes Parmesan cheese though. As a matter of fact, I picked up a jar for her this morning during my grocery shopping at Walmart. I do love spaghetti / meatballs and lasagna. Pizza too. Especially pizza.

Fresh mozzarella cheese is one of my favorite foods for sure.

Even shredded mozzarella is good.

In fact, there's a convenience store by me where I regularly get rice and beans with grilled chicken and shredded mozzarella cheese on top of it. Sometimes, I even add bacon. Throw in a little oregano, salt, and pepper, and I'm the happiest guy alive.

That sounds scrumptious.

Perhaps you should have waited two years?

I'm sorry, but that doesn't sound appetizing to me at all.

Hey, everyone has different tastes, so to each their own.

Speaking of Yodels, what follows is a true story that merges Yodels and the gospel of Jesus Christ that just came back to my remembrance.

Back around 1990 or 1991, I worked for a golf club manufacturer in New Jersey. The building consisted of a big warehouse where they assembled the golf clubs and an office area where I, some other customer service representatives, sales reps, and managers worked.

Well, I was friendly with several people in the warehouse, and we used to have lunch together while playing chess on our lunchbreaks. More on that in a moment.

First, I need to mention something about one of the sales reps, Joe Testa. Joe was a very friendly and personable guy, and I shared the gospel with him on a few different occasions. He was always polite in our discussions, and I used to kid him by saying:

There are apparently 3 testaments:

1. The Old Testament.
2. The New Testament.
3. The Joe Testa-ment.

Anyhow, one day as I was eating lunch and playing chess with some co-workers in the warehouse, Joe Testa walked in and stopped by. I had actually finished eating my lunch, and I was about to finish off my pack of Yodels which only had one Yodel remaining. Joe commented something like, "Wow. That Yodel looks really good", and I handed it to him. When I did, in all seriousness, he got all emotional, and I literally thought that he was going to cry. He then said something to me that I've never forgotten. He said, "Now I know that you're a Christian".

A simple act of giving him my last Yodel (I must admit that the last one is always the best one) touched his heart.

Hey, you never know what might reach someone and make them think.

That wasn't even my intention back then. I always share my things with others, but it shows me how impactful a simple act of kindness can be upon somebody else.

Anyhow, like I said, that just came back to my remembrance, so I thought that I'd share it.

Now, of course, I truly am craving Yodels. If you've never had one (I know that Gojira has), then you're missing out on one of life's greatest pleasures.

We just finished a dinner of fried potatoes, chicken, and freshly picked asparagus.
I LOVE ASPARAGUS!!!

Actually, I had never tasted asparagus before until the guy who's been cutting my hair for the last 38 years invited me to dinner at his house with him and his wife (this was probably about 20 something years ago, but I'm older than dirt). Well, she made asparagus as part of the meal, and the rest, as they say, is history.

I don't know how to say this to you tourist, but it's the truth...

I actually like to put parmesan cheese on top of my asparagus.

'Sorry (not really)...

Not ho-hos, but Yodels (notice one was capitalized). And, your story shows that Yodels should have a place in Heaven.
