23 May the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body
be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As peacefully as possible :). Welcome and enjoy. Hopefully you have lots to teach and lots to learn... Best way I think is to start out in the Bible discussion forum, find a topic you like, start reading and commenting. You'll find your footing pretty quick. I will say, if you have 'thin skin' to maybe put on a coat first :D and try to speak on the topic, not on the person. Hope it helps....See you soon K

Yes, I can rejoice that God in His mercy and grace has drawn me to CC so that I can fellowship with many believers. I am part of the body of Christ that assembles in New Delhi, India. We are not a large contingent but a committed group that is serious about the call and election. I look forward to share wihar the Lord is speaking to us corporately and to me personally.

Hi,

This is my first post. I'm not sure how to post a new thread to introduce myself yet. It's probably obvious, but can use a hand.

As to the gospel, that's summarized in I Corinthians 15. It's my favorite subject.

"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."

We know that even though God loves the world, that all the world is not saved.
What is their requirement?
Good works like giving up sins?
No.... Sacraments? No....
This is the appropriate response....

"And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?. And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."
Acts 16:31

Hello @HealthAndHappiness, welcome to CChat :)

Perhaps you should repost what you just said above on your own new thread here: (1) New Christian Chat Members (Introduce yourselves!! - Christian Chat Rooms & Forums (typically, posting the same OP on two different boards is frowned upon .. not so in this case however .. especially since it will be one reply and one OP instead :)).

God bless you!! (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24)

p.s. - since you seem to be interested in witnessing/evangelism/apologetics, here is one of my favorite Christian quotes along those lines, by theologian/pastor Charles H. Spurgeon.
