Well we are working 10 hr. shifts atm. I am utility on the line. You name it I do it. We make frozen pizza's on our line. Fully automative which means at full speed our busy work goes from 10 mph to 80 mph in seconds, lol . If you have seen the I love lucy episode where she is trying to keep up with the chocolate , well this is crazier than that. We have several places it can get jammed up. Trying to catch 100 to 300 pizzas takes alot of skill and people. Plus side it helps me with my workout. I get paid in more than one way. The floor supervisor has a spitfire anger issue. But usually not at me, I stay busy.
We have so many in and out of the place it amazes me. I wonder how people can afford to pay their bills when they quit these jobs. We got several newbies yesterday. I was left to train a few. They took one newbie and left me with someone who should not be working where I work. I am not being mean , she just has the mentality of between an 8- 10 yr. old. Well needless to say did not set well with our boss. She constantly stands around or hides in the bathroom. She gets mad if you try and let her know something and pouts. I just stay busy and don't say much. They also put many over to help me who do not understand english. Which is cool I learn some more spanish and they learn english and seem to enjoy my easy going nature. We also have a few who speak swahili . I am kind of glad the lady knows some english though. I am unsure if I know any swahili. No mundaneness at my work. I wonder if that would be a great thing to put on my resume flying pizza catcher hmmmm...
I'm wondering if I could get a job there, I'll just hover in the background and grab the discards. Thinking about this, it reminds me of a red cattle dog (known as an Australian Cattle dog in the US) that was the mascot at a lovely old pub called the Apollonian Hotel not far from where I lived. I don't think he's still there because the owners sold the hotel.

Anyway, we have giant kingfisher birds, also called Cookaburras, in Oz that are not backward in swooping in and stealing the steaks off a diner's fork or plate. Well, it was Nuggets job to keep the Cookaburras away from the dining area.

Now Nugget was no fool. He'd wait until a Cookaburra stole a steak, and when the bird was bashing the steak on the ground to kill it, Nugget would run in barking madly and the bird would drop the steak and retreat into the trees. You could just about see the smirk on Nugget's face as he wandered off with a juicy steak clamped in his jaws.

The diners got a fright, but they got a replacement steak from the Bistro for nix. Your could here the derogatory remarks coming from the kitchen about a certain rotten lazy dog.

Some of the frozen meals on special are cheap if your cooking is not too good.
The butcher over here cooks a whole roast chicken with roast veggies in those tin foil dishes and sells it for ten dollars which is very good value. You cut it in quaters and freeze it and grab when needed.

I am getting used to the joint but it is only till the end of July which is only a few weeks away and then they and I will decide if it continues. I have left it in the hands of God and I will await on what he says. He will either allow for it to be extended or not.

Is the flooding over east anywhere near you? Looks pretty bad.
That's good value from the butchers.

The ground is soggy here after a few days of rain early in the week, but we've had a couple of sunny days with a couple more to come. Hopefully the ground will dry out some before the next bout of rain occurs, which is apparently mooted for next Tuesday. Much of the recent heavy rain has fallen between Sydney and the Queensland border, they have really had a pummelling in the Hunter Valley area.

I got word from my landlords that they'll be retiring and moving into the home I'm renting, late next year. I think I'll be getting my marching orders around September 2023. They've been good landlords, and it's been a great place to stay. I'm not keen on moving furniture again, so am thinking of selling my stuff (I'll keep a couple of toys and tools though), and travel around in a caravan or move overseas. Sasha the cat will live ok in a caravan, but if I move overseas that might be a bit traumatic for her, but I think my elder sister will look after her in that event. Anyway, it's early days, and there's no need for anxiety or panic as I know God is watching over me 🙂

Here's a thought. I was listening to a dissertation recently by a medical professor, where he suggested that a good dose of NIR a day help staves off dementia. Hasn't worked for me, but maybe it will work for an oversized lizard 🤔🤭
No silly. I consume radiation -- among other things, for nourishment. I actually like nukes. As Biden says, C'mon man! Get with the program :D

Also, what's with this remark that I need protection from dementia?!? As we might say in New Yawk, I gotcher dementia right here, with give little mental illnesses attached to it! Knowwhudduhmean?

Do you have a website called next door where you live? It is a good site for making sales. I don't know anything about selling on ebay or amazon. Check for an amazon seller store in your area. God Bless Brother, Daniel I know I can use a good Circluar saw.

yes, and very happy and definitely never looked like he was short of a feed. Sometimes you'd hear a staff member yell 'where's Nugget', and you'd know that a customer had just reported their steak had been stolen by a Cookaburra. You could imagine Nugget was around the back sleeping a feed off, or musing "I'm good, don't need anything".

Well last work day for me. We were blessed and got out almost an hr. early. Money is awesome but so is rest and relaxation . I am a little bewildered though, may just be me though. I have been corresponding with am assistant pastor. Getting to know one another. I sent a message out this morning talking about being married more than once. Let him know if it is not what he is looking for let me know. But if he wanted to remain friends that too would be nice. I have not heard anything as of yet. I am widowed and divorced . He himself is divorced. Usually answers me by 9 am . Now after 8 pm. Maybe just leary and tired.

My day has been less than wonderful. I had two contentious conversations today (one here and one in the real world, over something that never should have been an issue). The latter caused a permanent rift in our relationship.

Then, I almost got into an accident because I got my foot caught UNDER my brake this afternoon while pulling out of a parking lot.

Then, I got a package from eBay that was NOT what was advertised, and I am, shall I say, less than happy about that. It puts back my being able to work on my new MacBook Pro another week. I'm trying to phase out my current, 5yo machine.

Good things? I successfully completed my stint at the gym, and God blessed me with groceries.

If he's an ass't pastor, he may be busy with other congregants.

My day got off to an interesting start :D I have not been sleeping that great while I've been
at my daughter's, which actually works out well for the cats, because I can spend part of the
night with Luna in the living room and part of the night in my daughter's bedroom with the
little girl cat who is very affectionate and probably gets lonely if left alone too long. The room
switch usually happens between 2-4 in the morning, and seemed a better idea than trying to
transport Luna from the living room to my daughter's bedroom without shutting all the other
cats behind one door or another. Anyways, I was having my morning coffee in the sunroom
after all the felines had been fed, and somehow seemed to have locked the door behind me,
which doesn't make sense, because the door will not open from the inside unless unlocked.
Luckily it was early enough that it was still somewhat cool out, so I had put on my jacket, and
had the house keys in one of the pockets, so navigated the steep back stairs and made my way
to the front door. The door handle key unlocked the mechanism, but the dead bolt was still in
place, so I could not get in the house. Another lucky thing was that I also had pajama bottoms
on. LOL. After speaking with a neighbor walking by, hoping they had a phone (they did not), and
knocking on the next door neighbor's house (to no avail), I wondered what my options were.
What a predicament! I returned to the front door. The keys my daughter had given me had a key
she said she did not know what it was for. I tried it in the dead bolt. It worked! Thank you, God :)

May the Lord's will prevail in your life Willow.

I'm not suggesting you have fallen into this trap, but I have sometimes had an unrealistic expectation of how quickly someone should get back to me. I'm not sure if that has come from a deep hope and desire within me, or anxiety, or doubt, or a mix of all of those, that makes me expect a quick reply.

Also, I feel that I've become so conditioned by the speed of modern communication technologies, that I ought get a prompt reply, and if I don't then my mind tends to wander into all sorts of possibilities as to why that is, and none of which may be real.

I try to not be anxious about anything, and que sera sera.... I'm still working on this!

Yes, there is Daniel. I'll check it out. Thanks for the suggestion 👍.
There's also Gumtree (a freebie version of eBay), and a couple of local buy/sell/swap Fb sites too.

Started out pretty ordinary for you to say the least, but you hung in there and it came good in the end. Well done.
