Alpineguy,

That's sad.
I just listened to a sermon last week that covered this topic about America. The pastor said that when he was a young man he remembers saying that once the USA starts to let sodomites adopt children, he would quit praying for God to spare it's judgement.

Anyhow, I feel sorry for those children.
Have you ever seen this video put out by the SanFran Sicko Choir?
This is what it's about.

That's very sad news. They've dug a hole for themselves like the other nations in the world that have also supported these abominations. For the poor innocent children's sake, I've also started praying that our Father ends this insanity. Adults deserve the consequences of their follies, but not their children. I wouldn't be surprised if Covid, Monkey Pox, Japanese Encephalitis, and such diseases, and natural disasters, are mere entres of the main course that is yet to be dished up to us, whether that be for the end of days, or for a draining of the swamp and a subsequent reset of society.

I don't often watch news about America. I look more about Europe (I'm Austrian), but thank you for the video.

I found the pride cartoons in another video I looked though, so I can confirm.

That's cool. Austria has an amazing history and beautiful country from what I have seen through media.

Do you ever get asked to do Arnold impressions? They are pretty popular in the USA. Hahaha.

I'm against gay marriage. That means that I don't have a gay marriage. It doesn't mean I prevent people from having one themselves.

I'm really not sure what that would prove...I wouldn't want them to force me to have a gay marriage why would I force them not to have one?

Because marriage is an institution of God, made only between a man and a woman:

Matthew 19:4-6 He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”

Your point is probably a common view in the US these days. After all, if you're like me, we went through nursery school, k-12 and maybe a state college. So please don't take this wrong. My reasoning is that God instituted marriage first with Adam and Eve. We follow that model. The Johnny come lately governments of this world SHOULD follow God's laws and recognize Holy matrimony. When wicked government does something contrary to God's Word it doesn't make it legit. It might be lawful in the eyes of legislatures and some evil governor, but God does not approve of what they do in rebellion to Him. We aren't given that perspective in gt schools, media or churches with rainbow flags out front, so we must seek for answers through God's Word. That's where I'm coming from. What do you think?

And if this was a theocracy you would have a point so my question is, is that your wish for America?

Do you believe that the Bible includes a Great Commission to go and set up theocracies throughout the world or perhaps a one world theocracy that governs the whole world?

"It might be lawful in the eyes of legislatures and some evil governor, but God does not approve of what they do in rebellion to Him" I absolutely agree with you and and it's why I don't have a problem with homosexuals getting married because it's not real. It's just a fantasy it doesn't equal to anything.

Why do you think a theocracy would be that bad? Being a theocracy doesn't mean smashing anybody who thinks different, but preserving the Holy Order God has given us for our best, even for those that do not agree.

Are the so-called """democracies""" any better, where your children are corrupted with mandatory sex "education" and you can go to jail for expressing an opinion about the Holocaust?

This country was founded on escaping a theocratic monarchy. Do you think we should of stayed under king rule? Do you believe we should not of rebelled?

Marriage, the union of a male and female, is an institution made by God.

It's not about what you or I may decide what is acceptable amongst human kind, it's what our Creator finds acceptable. Scripture has more than one place where God has said He is abhorred by homosexual activity. If we make it a standard, by allowing it to be lawful, then we are going against God's statutes.

You or I supporting same sex marriages in any way, by making them an acceptable practice whether that be intentional or unintentional, and amending His ways to suit ourselves or society, would be akin to telling God that we don't like His ways. That, is one dicey move. Count me out!

Because unlike the movies, for some large % people in a community, it is required that community to be of certain standards to sustain their own standards. Sort of like, if you surround yourself with filth all day, and nobody is placing a check on that filth, you'll end up wallowing in filth yourself. The disciples had followed Jesus for years, seen him raise people from the dead. And when Jesus asked them to stay awake and pray with him, 1 night after a feast, his best friends, the ones he found most dear, couldn't do that much.
"The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak."

Further, what are you instructing to those little ones who come behind you when you show tacit approval of suicidal masturbatory acts?

I don't know how their constitution works but America has an amendment clause which basically States all laws must have a secular purpose. Meaning you don't get to pass laws that favor anyone religion or laws that are against anyone religion
There's really not much reason to make same-sex marriage illegal other than religious reasons which is irrelevant when it comes to legislation

Technically that's a read-into of the 1st's order to CONGRESS.
By the Original readings of the Constitution, it was quite acceptable for States to have a Religion. Numerous States had State churches when the Constitution was signed. That means that for nearly 20 years, the US States were, independent of the Church of England, carrying a State Religion, though the practice did quickly get removed from most of the Constitutions after the US Constitution was completed. Numerous State and Federal Courts recognized the US as a Christian nation, routinely using the name of Christian to describe our laws and origin. Even Thomas Jefferson attended church in the US Capital Building, despite being one of two, possibly three actual atheists of the 130something signing Founders (many of whom are now ignored by media because they routinely couched the US in Christain terms, Including General George Washington, and President George Washington).

For instance, why use a Christian Bible for 250 years to swear oath?

Religion is a Right of 'The People'. The People never gave 'The Federal' Authority to discuss Religion, in the Document We The People gave each other, called Constitution. So 'The States' may well still be made into Religious Entities, by The People, if The People so decide. And The Federal technically has no authority to say otherwise. This would be clear from the 9th and 10th amendments, and the same sentiment of seperation of Rights of People and States is in the original text of the Constitution as well, I just forget if it's Article 4 or elsewhere right now.
The Federal is limted by The Constitution, if it's not in there, the Constitution tells The Federal (and reminds us) that it's Ours or The States'.

I think we could afford to rebel because we were pretty much of the same manners and faith. With only a few broad exceptions of taste in social habits, the language and the goals were basically the same across the nation.
That is being removed. Unchecked borders and now also the intentional disruption of a unified purpose by intentionally introducing people whose religious goals are directly contrary to the goals of Christians, in the facade name of Diversity and 'Justice.'
As that is where we are right now, rebellion in the same fashion as was completed in the 18th Century US, would be highly unlikely to succeed, at least in the same way. It seems far more likely that infighting for status and a spirit of lawlessness would have sank those rebel colonies, instead being checked by the pulpit. As it was, there was plenty of actual violence, I can't imagine what it would have looked like with the Nation of islam on one quarter, and Brit'Bnai on another.
