Greetings From North Carolina

I just joined ChristianChat and am trying to figure this out (Please be patient). I live in North Carolina not far from Charlotte. Although I claimed to have been saved from childhood, I really did not know God until the Fall of 2008. Learning of the One True God, brought about many life changes/djustments, but all for the better. Being what they call a hermit, and rather introverted, I quickly became reliant on God and learn that He is truely all anyone could want or need. Though I have lerned alot since 2008, I am confident there is much more to learn and that is what I hope to accomplish by joining this chat/forum. I firmly believe that truth belongs to no man, and must be shared. Having said that, I hope to learn and share as well.

I'm currently residing in NE Tennessee having relocated from Clearwater, Florida 1 1/2 years ago. There are many introverts here, including myself, so you are not alone in this regard. Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

Hello Rich, we are glad that you have joined our fellowship here and look forward to getting to know you. I live not far from you to the northeast and I attended school in Davidson. That was some time ago and things have certainly changed over the years.

In looking through the forums just be yourself and soon you should have many friends. We are all God's children. Welcome and may our Lord bless and keep you.

A kindred spirit(introvert), how refreshing. Thanks for the comment. Tenn. is much cooler weather than Florids. I used to live just outside Daytona, in s place called Port Orange. The beach is actually all that I sweat while being there. Shhh, don't tell anyone.

I have been to Daytona Beach many times., and other beaches near there including Cocoa. Yeah, Florida is a hot place in the summer months. Of course, a Florida summer lasts for 8 months. I am sure that I have been to Port Orange too.

What a lovely intro to read! Welcome to CC of course from one noob to another I get what you mean, I also knew of God when I was a child...I went to Sunday School and all that but when I first got to know him I believe I was 30. Im happy to read how God has changed your life, He is Lord Almighty and I am reminded of that when I look at my family or admire the scenery, even when a random person comes into my life with a prayer in their heart for me. It is all Christ It will be awesome to read of your spiritual thoughts around this forum too

I extend my sincerest gratitude in abundance for your kind and thoughtful words. As for my into, I must apologize for my flair for dramatic text, which I hope conveys a calming and enjoyable experience. I, actually, and with shame and humility, am but of sub-average intellect, with an impressive dictionary. I find if the reader is willing to donate their time reading what little 'ole me types when time is precious and limited, the very least I could do is make it worthy of a minute or less. Again, I honestly appreciate your comment and find it rather inspiring and motivating. I believe many will benefit from your continuous comments, so continue, please.

I think I am a better reader than a writer lol but I only see you as being a humble and honest person when you write so I think many here will appreciate what you have to contribute to CC! I feel the same way when I am reading all the replies here, that God put it in someones heart to reach out to me and that in itself is all glory to God. Im so impressed with how others write here, yourself included because I spend a lot of time with children and it shows in my written expression lol. There seems to be a language with Christians and how they speak, the words they use and that is interesting in itself I know we will pass each other in the hallways here so I hope you are having a productive or restful week, whichever comes first, may it be with Christ in mind
