Asking questions is an OK thing to do here at Christian Chat.
I thought it was very good soup starter for discussion.
I have no problem at all with people asking questions. I asked why the question was asked more for my own sake than to cast aspersions on the OP's motives.

Romans 11:33-36
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! 34For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counseller? 35Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? 36For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

Luke 2:14
“Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among people with whom He is pleased.”

Yes, Runningman, these are very meaningful Biblical verses, but there is so much more to being born-again. It comes to us by by a revelation of the Spirit of God. I have tried to express this as follows:
I believe that when a person receives the life of Christ by the Holy Spirit by faith and the grace of God, he is a new person, the old has gone and he is now a new creation of God. There is a dramatic inward change in his life and God gives him a new inward constitution. The Lord Jesus Christ becomes his all-in-all. He lives to become more like Him in nature and character. He experiences something that cannot be easily explained but the power of which enables him to commit his whole life to the Lord. I could go on …The apostle Paul’s experience on the road to Damascus is a good example
Interesting. Ever read Acts 19?

I would like to know more about God’s purpose. Please guide me to any discussion on this subject.
The eternal purpose: To have renewed and true fellowship with God (that which was lost in the fall) by being adopted into God's family by the justification that comes thru faith in believing that the risen Christ is our Savior.

Our purpose while we "occupy until He comes" is that of sanctification, conforming to the image of Christ, and to fulfill our mandate to be effective salt and light in the world, and to proclaim the gospel to every creature.

I thought it was a great question too if the OP's intention was to gain insight into discovering Yahweh's purpose for his life. However, I can't think of a bigger waste of time than to start an intellectual discussion or debate on what our purpose is. Purpose is an action word and is the antithesis of intellectual back and forth.

That's why I asked. I wanted to know if I should invest any time in responding.

I suppose witnesses best describes us. We tell folks what He has done for us and others we know about, what He will do for them if they will believe in Him. We witness to His Lordship now and in the kingdom to come.

I would like to know more about God’s purpose. Please guide me to any discussion on this subject.
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21:1-5‬ ‭

God has made an eternal home for man to be with him his family his children , the people , Christins , are being redeemed from This fallen creation to fill the new one and inhabit a perfect world beyond death and sorrow with Jesus our lord his kingdom is the purpose he’s creating and harvesting his people from the earth to fill his eternal kingdom. God the Father , and his children through the spirit of Jesus Christ the son forever

Our role on earth until then is to be good stewards of the gospel to be a welcoming home for the holy ghost and to look towards home rather than earth to do good and speak good on earth in Jesus name and share the gospel is our role while we’re here

Our purpose is to be the children of God eternally and whatever glories lie ahead for us in eternity with him who knows what he’ll do in forever there’s a big universe he made for a purpose he’s got big plans for us in Christ

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, Neither have entered into the heart of man, The things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

But in the gospel we can hear about it so we can believe

“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

forever is a big reward and a big future we’re promised in him to dwell with him forever in a new home it’s actually been his plan a long long time before the gospel came forth

“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth:

and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭65:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And is promised in detail and revealed in the gospel as our promise and hope our home of his promise to us which cannot fail

“Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And eventually we’ll see it from the other side

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21:1-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the first thing he’s making new is people the born again folks born to inherit that world and not this one.

God’s Purpose for born-again believers
my view

Well God's purpose for all His true Children to have a personal relationship with Him -----to trust and obey His Word through Faith in Him and Trust in Him alone to direct their path in their life -----

God's purpose for His true Children is to completely submit to His authority without hesitation so He can work all things together for the good in their life ----

God's purpose for His True Children is to give each Child a special gift and purpose to bring Glory to Him and His kingdom ---one may be called to minister ---one may have the gift of healing ----one may have the gift of serving -----etc

God's purpose for His True Children is to send them out to plant the seeds of the Word to others to expand His Kingdom -----

God's purpose for His True Children is mature in their Faith and walk in obtaining their Christ like Character so others can see by example how different His Children are from the World --

God's purpose for His True Children is to be Blessed by Him so they can Bless others to Glorify Him -----both Spiritually and financially -----so when the poor is in need for food or oil or a place to stay ----His Child has the means to provide for that person ------The Parable of the Good Samaritan is an example of that-----

God's purpose for His True Children is to gain wisdom and understanding of His Word by and through prayer and asking the Holy Spirit for direction when reading His Word ----

God's purpose on Wisdom and understanding

Yup. I suggest we get busy.....
look at how many people God places in our lives at any given moment we should be witnessing to. as an employee or owner we are surrounded by many people, as someone who goes into town at home depot/lowes or grocery we are surrounded by many people, as someone who at times will enjoy a meal at a diner we are surrounded by many people during busy hours, as a youth coach for our children we are surrounded by parents and athletes. it seems everywhere i go i am almost surrounded by many people. but how many of those people are living for God because i introduced them? that's a lopsided number that i am ashamed of.

Thank you Bro Iconoclast. This states that Gods purpose is for principalities and powers, the church being Gods instrument. Please correct my understanding. I would like a clearer understanding of Gods PURPOSE FOR THE CHURCH as such.

The truine God has saved a multitude of sinners and in doing so He has summoned us to be in saving union with Himself.
As such the good works that are ordained for us,eph2:10..are Kingdom works. We bring the gospel of the Kingdom worldwide making disciples.
This implies that as we are brought into communion with God, we share the Kingdom growth, by learning and presenting as much revealed truth as we can.
Our worldview must be Christ centered in all things.

God's purpose if you to know that He made you because He loves you. His desire is for you to learn how much He loves you and to fellowship with you in an eternal covenant commitment. Jesus made that possible for all of us. It is then up to you to respond to His love by asking to reveal His heart as your worship Him with all your heart.

John 3:3
3Jesus responded and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

John 3:5,6
5Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is bornof water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6That which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit.

Being born again is a requirement to see the kingdom of God. Jesus said the components required to be born again are water and Spirit. Water and Spirit are required to be born of the Spirit and are not a natural live birth from a woman. Water is water baptism and the Spirit is God’s Holy Spirit.

John 1:12,13
12But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. 13They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.
John 1:12-13 KJV But as many as received him, (not accepted him) to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Accepting Christ requires the will of the flesh and that of the will of man. Receiving does not require the will of the flesh nor the will of man.

Accepting Christ requires the will of the flesh and that of the will of man. Receiving does not require the will of the flesh nor the will of man.
Existing requires the will of the flesh and the will of man. Doesn’t it? So if someone’s parents didn’t produce a child then they wouldn’t exist. That’s the will of flesh and people. So if they didn’t exist they couldn’t receive something. No matter how you spin it this a material world where body, soul, and spirit work in tandem.

Being born of water and spirit is about spiritual rebirth. People are spiritually dead in their trespasses prior to being born again, not physically dead.

God's purpose was first revealed when He created Adam (Gen. 1:26). His first and ultimate purpose was for Adam to know he was deeply and infinitely loved with no bounds and no rules attached. Two, by making him His delegated authority to rule the earth through love, righteousness, and wisdom. Yet that was simply the beginning, but first, he had to pass the test and make sure he could be endowed with divine authority.

The key for Adam was to maintain his love-trust-relationship with his creator-lover over all creatures through one simple act of obedience ("you shall not eat out of the fruit of the tree of good and evil"). This test was a one-time deal only; if he passed, he would be the lord of the earth and capable of running it forever, even throughout all the cosmos (in time). Was Adam able to trust the Lord with a single command, or would he be swayed by a creature that pretended to be his friend, and in the process betray the one who loved him and had big plans for him?

Thank God for Jesus Christ (who is called the last Adam in 1Cor. 15:45), who accomplished for all humanity what the first Adam never did.

In conclusion, God's purpose for man today is knowing that he is loved with a divine passion that no devil in hell can take away from us. If we believe that, our purpose in this life will be fulfilled because no amount of rejection from men would be able to take the fact that our creator-lover thinks the world of us.

why wouldn't our purpose be the same as Adam since Jesus restored it back to order?

did not God allow Adam to walk around and NAME THINGS? did not God allow Adam to have Authority and Dominion over the Earth?
so when Adam lost this, did not Jesus restore it back?

so, how come Believers are not walking around in Authority and Dominion over the things of the Earth? the LOVE of God not only gave us Salvation, Victory over death, and Resurrection Power, but He gave us back what Adam had lost. so why are we not utilizing it?

John 5:19 “Then answered Jesus and said unto them,Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.”

and later in the same book:

John 20:21 “.. Jesus said to them, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent Me, so also I am sending you.”

We are here to do the will of the Son who only does the will of Our Father.
