I will probably have soooooo, soooo many favorite gorgeous verses from the Quran because it’s just… just such a beautiful book. I mean, the violence just somehow makes me go, “Islam, the religion of peace”, when I read it. But so far I gotta say, this is my favorite verse.

-Quran 2:79

“So woe to those who write something down with their own hands and then claim, ‘This is from God,’ in order to make some small gain. Woe to them for what their hands have written! Woe to them for all they have earned!”

Ironic, isn’t it?

I don't get it. "They" have been opening [your] eyes with [your] wisdom?

Ok, it's late at night. Am I just tired . . . or?

I wonder if you are expressing those extremist Muslims and expressing Allah in their hearts with their own ideas.

✝ Galatians 1:7

"but there isn’t another “good news.” Only there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the Good News of Christ
✝ Galatians 1:8

"But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any “good news” other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed."

Yes who wrote Qur'an have to woe , claiming this is from God's word and ignoring real God's word.

And since most, here, have a different idea of what the Gospel is, the "most" possess a false gospel. Pretty scary.

The holy Quran is beautiful. It is the Fatwas that make Islam awful. I would be happy as a Quran Only Muslim but I would have to let the issue about Isa (PBUH) rest until Allah SWT tells me. For me, the sad truth that the Sunni and Shia could never settle things just robbed it of credibility.

The Quran is not Holy. In fact it is demonically inspired... unless it came from the sick imagination of the adulterous
war-mongering pedophile known as the hero of Islam, Muhammed himself. Same difference though = Satanic.

I haven't read the Quran as of yet, but I'd like to. That said, I think I'd rather continue in my studies of the Bible. I don't have time to ponder writings that inspire suicide and the murder of innocent people.

Muhammad was illiterate.

The Koran supposedly came to exist as he dictated to scribes what he claimed Allah inspired in him. And it was from there the Koran came to exist.

He tried to sell his amalgam of Judaism and Christianity reworked with his own slant, to the Jews in Medina first.
They sent him away.

Then he found what were said to be nomadic Arabs who listened and believed his fiction because it made inferior both Judaism and Christianity. The foremost faiths in the region at the time.

I am on your ignore list which is fine.

I'm actually writing this so others will know something about the man-made not god inspired Koran, and your commentary provided that opportunity.

It is sad that there are those who are intent on maintaining an unholy polarization between those who believe in one God.
And yet here you are making your confession as one who does not actually know anything about Islam. Or Christianity. And while none the less committing to a decisive effort to interject a pagan satanic cult ideology into an Arab Christians forum!
Allah has no son!

Every true Muslim knows the Sura that informs of that.

Isa was just another prophet. He is recognized as such in the Koran. He is not recognized as the Son of Allah, Allah made flesh to dwell among us , nor is he recognized as Savior of the world.

Because there is no Salvation and guarantee of eternal life in Islam!

Actual Muslims only enter paradise in one of two ways.
Being martyred for the faith. Or, at Allah's discretion.

Jesus came first. Jesus was The Word made flesh. God.

Allah contacting Muhammad and bringing him into Allah's abode on a winged horse to render unto Muhammad a counter doctrine to that what God ordained before creation and sealed with his blood on the cross generations prior is a lie straight out of Muhammad's imagination.

It is Blasphemy!
Precisely as Muhammad intended.

You need abandon your agenda. Find Christ, a Bible, your knees to the floor and your head bowed in prayer as you repent of your sins.
If you are his your life will change for the better.

If you're not you'll continue as you are.
Hear O Israel our God our God is one.

Muhammad is not in paradise.

Biggest difference deference the Quran and the Bible is that it says believing in Jesus as God is blasphemy.

If found and to debate Muslims and/or try to convert them to Christianity then it might be helpful to understand their perspective, but make sure you’re spiritually guarded and your faith in Jesus Christ of Nazareth is strong first.

No. Purposeful is more the word.

Muhammad was illiterate. He did not write the Koran. He dictated it from his deathbed where he was slowly perishing from a
methodical poisoning insured by his slave/cook whose husband he'd murdered years before.

Then Muhammad entrusted the widow to make his food. He wasn't the brightest.

He also was an enemy of Judaism and Christianity. The Jews rebuffed his 'oral revelations' he claimed to have received from Allah.
So Muhammad adjusted his 'revelations' to marginalize Jesus, the Messiah the Jews rejected, and made irrelevant the Torah with accusations against it like the sura above.

And then he inspired the fools that followed him to go to war against Jews and Christians.AKA, the people of the book.

Koran [Qur'an] Sura 9:29
Fight those who (do) not believe in Allah and not in the Day the Last, and not they make unlawful what has made unlawful Allah and His Messenger, and not they acknowledge (the) religion (of) the truth, from those who were given the Scripture, until they pay the reparation (from) willingly, while they (are) subdued.

What is that reperation? In Islam it is called, Jizya.
Jizya is a per capita yearly taxation historically levied in the form of financial charge on dhimmis, that is, permanent non-Muslim subjects of a state governed by Islamic law. The Quran and hadiths mention jizya without specifying its rate or amount, and the application of jizya varied in the course of Islamic history.

America and any western government 'doing business' in Islamic countries pays this.

Our tax dollars at work.
Why? So our citizens there are allowed to live.

Religion of peace.🙄

You seek only conflict, not understanding. I have devoted more than 50 years to the study of scripture. If you study, really study and not just believe your pastor, you will begin to really want to understand more. The Jews have the Old Testament plus other books. The Muslims have some of the same principles in the Quran as in the Bible. I use only the KJV of the Bible, not because it is best but because I know it well.

When I was much younger, I timidly sat and listened to a pastor rant and rave but not dispense understanding. You should study and teach yourself.
