Jesus as we hear his word more and more opens our eyes so we can understand what’s there , his spirit knows what we know and can handle so he gently leads us , he expresses patience and forebearance , mercy and also teaches us , rebukes us in our wrongs and corrects our flaws In Understanding
I’m old now but I remember back when I didn’t really understand much of the Bible but I did believe Jesus is the one to believe in I believed what I could understand , but I didn’t understand much
ten years ago now I didn’t understand what I do now ten years before that I had no clue of what I did ten years go ect
it’s a lifetime walk and a big family lots of grandpas and grandmas , lots of deeds lots of adults lots of youth lots of babes throughout
I was just meaning to say we all have a differing level of understanding being in a different life experience from others hearing what only we’ve heard and not what everyone else has heard

yes amen because we walk in the light of Christ , we are reflecting the light of the gospel we believe in our heart to the world.
the light needs to not hide and needs to be like a city on a hill so others see the light and come into it and become another light shining for Jesus on this world
“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. that’s how we become lights we accept his light in us that shines in the gospel by being disciples , followers of Jesus this is what he said to his ( the lights ) disciples
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Believers who accept the gospel have the light within us , as we live after his ways we’re following the light of the world Jesus and reflecting his light outwardly into the world of darkness

His judgements are the light that goes into us and comes out of us

The epistles help us adjust our eyes so we can see clearer in the light and understand the gospel better as we do , it starts to shine out from us to others in our behavior in our world and deeds towards other people and as the light reaches and touches them they can then later become a light shining for the lord
