well this is an OLD thread

wayback machine must be working overtime lol

I think if you marry an actor or an actress, putting on extra body parts just comes with the job. Especially if you fake your own wedding.

for the rest of the population, its probably unecessary for those who arent on film or tv. Didnt Jesus say if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out?

lol

It's interesting seeing these old, and I do mean old, threads dug up and what my thought processes were like then.

This thread is from 2009, only a few months after I joined CC and was a newbie who was just starting to learn about the site.
It is a zombie thread....

The walking dead....

And all that "stuff" from padded undergarments to elevator shoes....it's just stuff.

If it gives someone the boost of confidence...well ok. The truth will come out.

If you can't look past someone's body to who they are....you have failed at being a human and are stuck at being an animal.

Well technically it IS grave digging. Generally on an internet forum it is considered bad form to go around digging up threads that are years or decades old. The conversations ended long ago, there is usually no real purpose in digging them up, and it clutters up the front page where people are trying to track CURRENT conversations that keep getting crowded out.

In fact some forums (not this one) have a setting to automatically lock a thread that is more than X months old. Some forums (not this one) will ban people who keep running around digging up old threads.

However there are exceptions... Mostly the exceptions are when the disinterred threads are interesting. And for sure, you have been digging up some interesting ones. =^.^=

(Besides, it has been kind of slow around here anyway. Not much current conversation around to crowd out.)

With my eyes on the shelf
My teeth in a cup
My ears in a drawer
Until I get up
And as sleep dims my eyes
I ask myself
Is there anything else
I should leave on the shelf?

(From a poem called I'm Doing Fine For The Shape I'm In.)

Hmm... I should probably mention that is only an exception HERE, on this forum. If you go to a different forum and try to grave-dig old threads, even if you only stick to interesting ones, you will probably be very surprised. :p

Well....most old threads involve people that have left this forum for one reason or another. And this place is more about slow conversations with people still around.
It's like text messaging in a group chat.

Which sometimes devolves into "Christian Rowdy Animals Preserve" or "CRAP" for short...lol.
That depends on whether somebody has been stirring it up. :p

It can be entertaining though, when they do start stirring...

We're just explaining why people are making comments about your grave digging. We already mentioned they don't ban for grave digging on this particular forum.

You commented about people who commented about your grave digging, so we explained why they commented. Nothing to get defensive about.

Yeah don't worry about it, just post on whatever you want, i do the same thing sometimes. I really don't see why people care that much anyways. Activity on old stuff is better than a completely dead forum, so grave dig and flip over as many tombstones as you want.
