Simply follow...

I was reflecting on the disciples, how they without any incentive package, without knowing the consequences, or the whys or why nots, they simply followed.

Oh how I spent many a day wondering what He wants from me..do I understand as I should..even things like, am I really saved, am I doing it right, when all I needed to do was simply follow.

He makes it so simple, no need to dissect the One, all that is needed is to simply follow.

The disciples didn't have the bible and they didn't need any coaxing, they just simply followed.

How do we follow, what does that mean…that too is simple…

Daily, give up ourselves and pick up His cross. Focus on His Lovely, then go around and love one another, in thought, word and deed, showing sincere care and mercy. It isn't what we do, or don't do, it has always been Him. He will get us where we need to be…all we need to do is simply follow.

May we never forget as we follow, to show others His way, so they can follow too.

I am so grateful for His loving, merciful lead!!!

I like to stay in prayer in the Divine prayer language, when He guides me to go somewhere I go and He goes before to create divine encounters.

This for me signifies the kind of faith described in my favorite Bible verse: Hebrews 11: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen". That is the only thing that will cause someone to just ............................................simply follow!

Oh yes, we see He did that all the time. His prayer in John 17 really shows us how we ought to pray. He was, even right before, thinking about others in His thoughts and prayers, looking up to His Father. Oh ty, so true. I notice one of your ministries seems to emphasize the importance of constant communication with Him. I am grateful for the inspiration, brother.

That's why I changed my avatar. I had a good laugh before replacing it. My user name has come up a lot but I really don't want to change it. My photo should help resolve things for now.

Sometimes I think we don't want simple. We WANT something complex that we have to puzzle over and figure out. Then we can take pride in having figured it out, and in explaining it to the poor simple people who have not figured it out.

And when a part of life is inconvenient or uncomfortable we can figure out a way around it. The more complex we make it, the more loopholes we can include for ourselves. :geek:

It really is a lot more simple than we sometimes like to believe.
