If I am at peace I can be instrument of His peace, drawing others to Him

if I can forgive as He did,
“Forgive them for they do not know what they do”

If I can be as a simple child, as He wants,
I can accept and love others without judgement and with trust

If i can be disgraced and hated as He was,
And love them in return

Then I will be a child of my much loved Father and He will love me

Yes, yes, yes...another great one, ty

I need His Grace to help me extend mine. I am so grateful for His generous spirit. Oh Lord help us all to Love, with much tender mercy. Help us to show You, in all we think, say and do.

I listen to and worship with streaming hymns as much as i can. Sometimes not as thoughtfully as i should! I try to have a worshipful spirit. Learning is important too.

His spirit lives in us. We cant Help becoming like He is.

Hidden sin is an issue!

Right now, I don’t have any consciously known sin, but i have been made painfully made aware that i have (a lot?) of hidden sin. Others send me some scripture that opens my eyes to my hidden sin, not on purpose but does the job. I have come to the conclusion I need others to uncover in one way or another the sins i cant see. The spirit does too directly. Daily i ask if i have offended Him and receive His forgiveness if i have. Why do i (oops! We?) do that? Because we never want to offend Him, the One we love, and be forgiven if we have.

He over loved me even when i used to have besetting sin. (I knew that only after I was able to escape the sin)

Worship is indeed great and for me that is something I do every morning on my way to work. My morning prayers are now very short so I kind of fill up my devotion with my favorite worship songs.

In my opinion, mortals simply do not have control over sin. We will always have hidden sin(s) that we aren't aware of but thankfully our heavenly father loves us unconditionally and he is kind and merciful.

I agree others are helpful, Iron to Iron, but I honestly believe none great than the HS. I can almost tell immediately when I grieve the spirit, sometimes though, not sure why...so yes others can def help. I know that I need him daily as I know His mercy is something I always yearn for. I am encouraged that you start your day humbly leaning on Him.

I try to fill every spare minute either worshiping Him, talking to Him, or learning about Him, or consciously doing what i know He wants me to do.

There are practical things we all have to do that take time. I have found that not only when i seek Him but also He finds me doing practical and other things and just loves me to distraction!

I think its possible to sin and only realize it later:

I realized i had told someone a corrective thing that was right to say but i said it without kindness, reverance, and humility, it was like moses striking the rock to get water! I had to ask forgiveness not for what i said but how i said it. I only realized that after my friend, who was not there, quoted some scripture, the Spirit did the rest!

I noticed another contrast, now an expected contrast. As you can see from my poems i have pretty soft feelings for our God. The contrast is that i have to say what is right at mens fellowships and other times and places, not go along with groupthink. That causes a lot of rejection and pain no matter how i say it.

So on one hand soft feelings on the other hand he wont spare me and puts me through the fire of that sort of pain!

The key thing there was the 'repentance' that you felt and showed. I imagine that after your prayer for forgiveness, you felt the weight of the guilt lifted. He is indeed, merciful! There is no way you can seek him fervently (no matter the situation) that he will not show up. Keep the faith!!

You have to expect dissension everytime you take a position that is based on what you beleive is right. All you can do is ask the lord to see you through the pain that comes as a repercussion.

Expressing your love and commitment to God through your poems is a form of service to the lord and now that you are sharing them with others, you are taking your service steps further.

Thanks. It encourages me!

I want Him to be loved, and for my brothers and sisters to know how great His love is for them!

Others have served Him far more! Maybe If i do the small things He will allow me to do more?

When I read “Have you no wounds” a oe
by Amy Carmichael, i get embarrassed! Another hero of mine Elisabeth Elliot, says “Don’t tell me you love God, show me”. (Yes a bit of mental wounds due to my shortcomings there! Haha)

Romans 14:8

If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

Its such a pleasure being owned by our Master who loves us so much and is so good to us

What else can we do but love Him in return?

A month ago I went to the San Diego Aboretum. I felt His strong embrace of love and saw what he created and was very touched.
I have gone to an arboretum in the past however this time I saw the beauty of the God that created the flowers and the genius He is. I wrote:

Lord how great your beauty is. I am so humbled

Im overwhelmed thinking about how you created such beauty. Probably just drawing outside the lines as a small child would...cant help creating beautiful things for You and your children to enjoy.
These beautiful orchids are such a small part of your creative flamboyance. You are so beautiful and create such beautiful things

Everyday is a surprise, what new things will You show me? I didnt expect You to love me so much right now and show me such beauty. Not hard at all to adore You.

Conscious of His Presence

On this earth i rather suffer the pain of any sickness, lack of acceptance, poverty….anything than loose the consciousness of His presence, His irreplaceable joy and pleasure of His love. Its all of these things appear to be bad will make me closer to Him because i thrive in Him then especially. I cling to Him and He clings to me…I love Him so much!

We certainly have a small amount of time on this Earth as well. That’s a reality that is unescapable.

From St John of the cross, Spiritual Canticles, explanation of his poems.

4. David, speaking of this, says, “My heart has been inflamed, and my reins have been changed; and I am brought to nothing, and I knew not.”42 The desires and affections, called the reins by the prophet, are all stirred and divinely changed in this burning of the heart, and the soul, through love, melted into nothing, knowing nothing but love......

Here is a summary of what I want to be. Maybe someone has something else i can aim for?

Becomming and being completely as He wants me to be.

Loving Him completely
Not be so busy that at any time my arms are not open to receive His love

Learn as much as i can to know what He wants, then because I love Him, obey Him

Have a worshipful spirit, never cease to praise Him (within the limits of what i can do)

Have the same attitude as Mary Magdalene, thankful that im a forgiven sinner and have the same attitude as the publican who beat His chest and said i am not worthy. To always remember i am nothing and He is everything being completely melted in the love of Him

To do what He ask in loving others. To truly have a love of them which is an extension of who He is in me.

To speak the words of correction humbly, reverence, and clearly. Not change what i say depending on the audience, if i am wrong to say i am sorry to the person and to my Master.

To treat this living on earth as temporary, always seeing, at least in part, His Glory, longing to be with Him.

To accept the best from all of my brothers and sisters, teachings, music, fellowship. His word is written on my heart so i am unafraid of being corrupted, His spirit of truth is in me.

Aha!

Being open to correction, no matter where it comes from. He speaks to us in many ways. His spirit in us will make me sensitive!
