it's alright that we don't know each other, actually makes me feel at home me😀,,Magenta and some others use to welcome newcomers all the time and sometimes it's also easier to ask for help or prayer from people you actually don't know so well since there's less judging or pressure to worry about thank you for the greeting and prayers😀🙏

Welcome back! Lots of newness for you. I pray the Lord will direct you and give you peace in all this change. Keep seeking him and he will help you through times of wonder, feelings of being overwhelmed and all the unknowns. God bless!

well apartment living can be exciting you can get to know your neighbours and organise games evenings or whatever on your floor..I mean you dont have to go far for company.

In recall various things they had in retirment villages that always had social things going on stuff like

craft clubs -kniting crochet, art, drawing, painting, mosaic
gardening groups (if no space, could do it on the roof? or sunny balcony?)
mens shed
puzzles
snooker (pool)
zumba or dance class
piano or choir
outings/trips ...everyone organise a van/bus and go somewhere for the day
prayer and bible study groups
learn something new...a language perhaps.
swap recipes

oldies were a social bunch. Many had lost a spouse so they band together and support each other.

I mean you dont have to do all those things some oldies just preferred to keep to themselves and sulk but the majority came out their shells and start to enjoy life with the time they have got left.
