Well, I'm loooooooonnnnnggggggg past the dating stages, BUT my oldest just turned 13, SO, some thoughts come to mind.

One being guys that sit in the car, and just honk to announce they have arrived = BIG NO NO.
Actually, this would end the date before it even started.

Here's one for ya.

What is a bad habit that could end it after one date?

Let's set a scene. You pick up your date, she/he gets in your rig and off you two go. You go to your favorite restaurant. After eating you go do one thing you enjoy. After all this you drop them off.

You are alone and driving home. You think to yourself "I think I'm all set". Why? You only get one answer lol.

For me....I'd say if someone ate their whole meal chewing with their mouth wide open. Sometimes we bite to big...it happens. I'm talking fully committed through the whole meal.
A guy’s who’s too insisting.

Please don’t ask me to elaborate lol.

Oh, THAT kind of scrub...

At first I thought you were talking about a professional in the medical field.

We have grown men and women over here walking around shopping in those animal onesies. I find that really off putting.:LOL:
I thought
I've never been on a date, but I guess if she was compelled to check her phone every two minutes I wouldn't be very tempted to pursue a second date.

But since I've never been on a date, I really don't have much of a clue what would be a "nope, forget that" trigger for me. Perhaps some day I will find out. Or maybe not.
Youve never been on a date? That makes two of us. Funny what you can have in common with someone lol

Mine is from apathy. I just never did care enough to try to find her.

Yours from laziness too, or you got a different reason?

Well I met the husband online, flew to meet him and moved in from day one. got married, had a kid.. now separated.
but we really never went on a date because we just got on with normal life, we had talked for a year, and knew that when I was flying to his country it wasnt to go on a date. It was serious business so to speak, we were serious about getting married. Our courtship was online if you can even call it that. So I hear and read of people describing dating and I cant relate lol

Im searching for it now...dont know what to expect..
Shipping threads are where you "ship" two forum members you think would make a good pair.

It's all in good fun, I've been told.

I skimmed through it. I didnt see any happy endings lol Im starting to think that the people who make serious threads about looking for love are in fact pretty courageous to put themselves out on a limb like that. I dont know what its like to not fall in love or be loved by the opposite gender so people who have never experienced romantic love, I hope they will one day.

doing heart surgery...? Mills and Boons actually has an entire series dedicated to doctors falling in love with their patients or nurses --not that I've ever read one lol

The other ones they have are about impossibly wealthy men or royalty sweeping a poor unknown lass off her feet and givng her a life of luxury...which she better appreciate!
