First; Is the statement, 'what goes around comes around' anything to do with karma?

Second; Does karma have anything to do with reincarnation?

Third; Is there anything about karma or something like it in the Bible?

No i don't karma as being biblical. It's related to reincarnation. It's Hinduism. Your actions etc effect your state in your future reincarnation etc.

The bible teaches God is in control of all things. There's no reincarnation, so doing good works can never effect your life after death.

There's two roads the wide road and the narrow road. Christ is the narrow road, for he is the 'way, truth and the light'.

Plus God is the righteous Judge who will judge all things at the end of this age.. Its not in the hands of our works to reach the goal of nirvana (as in Buddhism.

The only way to have Joy, is to be reborn in christ not multiple creature rebirth to work your way to some sort of joyful, peaceful state. Only God can give true peace.

Seems that I've heard or seen that Buddhism has been influenced by Christianity or probably the other way around. And the idea of which came first, and which influenced which, insinuates itself into argument about the code of Hammurabi and Zoroastrianism and other works just as the philosophical works of Classical Greece, which seems to be incorporated in Roman and possibly Eastern Catholicism, are also crossbred with Christianity. THE WORK OF THE DEVIL!!!

This post should be under miscelaneous, nothing biblical to discuss here.

Written in the Old Testament, the evil you do will come back upon your own head. Long before the teaching of Krma came along.

Do you suppose this is where some eastern religion got the idea of karma? Also KJV reads heathen rather than nations so is this a "?curse?" on individuals or nations or both?

If we ask, God goes far beyond karma, He forgives us out of His infinite heart of love. He loves us so much!

Nations generally (though not always) refers to those outside God's favor, such as contrasting Jew with Greek or Gentile.

When Rebekah was pregnant with twins, it was said she carried two nations within her.

Jacob (Israel) represented believers, and Esau (Edom) non-believers - the enemies of God.

Seems that it could be taken either as pertaining to individuals or nations. Jacob and Esau were individuals and by them were nations engendered. And is it possible that this verse in Job (11 6 And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth,) tells us that some scripture has more than one meaning.

a do t know anything about it but what I understand as karma like your saying “what comes around goes around “

the Bible talks about reaping and sowing meaning e way you treat others is how you can be expected to be treated by God so like the principle

“Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall be given into your bosom.

For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:36-38‬ ‭KJV‬‬

so it’s like the way you treat others is how your going to be treated by God here’s another example

“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

sort of summarized here

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6:7-8‬ ‭

remembering the spirits word that offers everlasting life

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. …Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:63, 68‬ ‭KJV‬‬

if we sow to the word of Christ the gospel we will harvest everything he promises

“For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.”
‭‭John‬ ‭12:49-50‬ ‭KJV‬‬

if we sow tonthe things Jesus taught like “ forgive and you will be forgiven , give and you shall receive , jidge not and you won’t be judged , condemn not others and you won’t be condemned “

It’s not really what comes around goes around but the principle is close more like “ what you do to others will return to you in multiples in greater measire

if your forgiving of your unforgiving whatever you bind upon another is bound to you forever . We have the authority when someone sins against us to forgive them if we ask God to forgive them who offend us , he will always forgive them based on our request

but if we refuse to forgive them then we are binding ourself to this also

Reaping and sowing is biblical consistently throughout all scripture but I think it’s a bit different from karma yet like I said I only have a rundimentary common understanding of karma being “ what comes around goes around “ and not so much the religious understanding of it as Hindu or Buddhists would

Karma is not a Bible word.
I believe it is associated with some pagan religion (which I have no interest in or knowledge about.)

something like it in the Bible?
I guess I would need to know what that 'something' might be.

I can tell you for a fact that Christianity did not stem from anything but Christ. I agree that the Devil has tried, and is still trying, to set forth many counterfeits.
