If the state passes a law you can challenge the law in court, ultimately it will be up to the Supreme court to decide if the law is constitutional. Mississippi had passed a heartbeat law and that was challenged and hence it ended up in the Supreme court.

The ultimate decision of constitutionality lies with SCOTUS.

Nope. Sorry. It's a 3-branch system. The founders were smarter than that. If Congress decides that a decision violated the constitution, they can start impeachment processes. The SCOTUS has the next to last word. Not the last. And, ultimately, we the people have the last word.

Interesting you should ask this question, a brother shared a testimony in church today about how his father didn't want anything to do with him and he was sent to foster care and how he ultimately ended up doing drugs, committing crimes and going to prison. But he got saved, turned his life around and now has a powerful testimony concerning forgiveness and not letting a root of bitterness grow up in you.
