When you claim your salvation is not secure. it must be maintained. then you are teaching you must work for it

You either Believe and trust God to save you completely, Or you add self into it, and believe God started to save you. but you must work hard to continue to make sure that salvation is secure.

Why don;t you trust the confidence paul had. Thet he who began a good work WILL (not might) Complete it. Where is your faith in God?

I searched the entire thread here to see if anyone posted any Scriptural proof for the idea that the believer's future sins are already forgiven before he commits them. It is interesting that I did not even find any attempt from anyone to prove that idea from Scripture. And I suppose for good reason, as no such Scripture can be found.

The blood of Christ is available to cover/forgive all sins; that is - all who believe in Jesus Christ are covered by the cleansing of the blood of the Lamb. When you are born again, every past sin you committed is forgiven because of/through your faith in Jesus Christ. He paid the complete price for sin, and when you trust in Him, that ransom price brings 100% forgiveness for all past sins.

And not only that, but when you live by faith in Jesus Christ, the blood of Christ continues to ongoingly cleanse/forgive you from each and every sin you commit. At the very moment you sin, you are forgiven because of Jesus Christ.

But the idea that when one is born again all one's future sins are forgiven: that idea is not found in the Scriptures.

You should be feared. You have no assurance you will do what you think is required to make sure your saved.

There is no fear in hope. There is no fear in the knowledge one has eternal life.

You do not even know you have eternal life. you still think your trying to make sure you get it.. If your not afraid something is wrong

Why do you not trust God? Does the word not say he who began a good work will complete it? Did Jesus not say that you would never hunger or thirst or die, you would live forever and given his assurance that as long as he lives you will live?

Why don;t you believe any of this?

Good question.
All sins have been paid for. Unlimited atonement . When we made Jesus the sole Object of our faith, we are saved forever.
Our walk with God thereafter is a separate matter. That's why I John 1:9 was written to believers, not unbelievers. It has to do with fellowship rather than salvation. In the KJV, there's an IF at the beginning of the verse.
I will post a good brief message that explains why we should walk with the Lord after salvation. Keep in mind Psalm 32 and Jeremiah 3:13 KJV when you sin.

This is a distortion of the truth. Do you confess your sins and ask forgiveness? If so, why? If all future sins were covered when you repented and called on the Lord, why keep on confessing? Why ask forgiveness? And if you don't confess your sins and ask forgiveness, why do you disobey the truth of the gospel?

His death on the cross was sufficient to pay the penalty for sin, but we don't get a free pass for all future sins by simply repenting once then forgetting we're still sinners. I can hear it already and no, this isn't "works based" salvation; it's faith based salvation.

When you do evil, your earthly father punishes you for it leading you to repent and ask for forgiveness. After repenting, doesn't your earthly father forgive you and forget the sin? But, after being forgiven, you go out and sin again, you are again ripe for punishment unless you repent once again for what you have done. So it is with the Lord. upon repentance, you are forgiven your sins but if you go out and think you can do whatsoever you wish without punishment, you are mistaken.
