John 1:18
King James Version
18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

How is this possible? Wasn't God in the garden of Eden with Adam?

I believe that Jesus was in the garden of Eden. I believe every instance of people thinking they saw God was Jesus. The Bible says, I believe, that those who see (or are about to see) God die from the contrast of glory and righteousness, but with Jesus they can somehow live (I couldn't say why). Look at the instances of God in the old testament considering they are Jesus.

I believe that "seen" is meant in the sense of fully perceiving as I can imagine anyone that has seen God at any time wouldn't be able to fully discern that it is, definitively God they are looking at. Such as the time the Angel of the Lord appeared to Menoah. Although his wife discerned it was the LORD, she must've been awestruck as anyone else also would be. I'm sure.

Wouldn't Adam have seen God then?
Knowing someone and communing with them does not require visual contact. I have had several good friends who were blind. We had no trouble communicating. The Bible does not describe any visual appearance of God in the Garden (that I can recall.) I talk to God every day, but have never seen Him with my eyes.

Genesis 3:8
King James Version
8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.

Also God drove them out of I'm not mistaken... how could Adam have never seen God?

The ancient rabbis were perplexed by what appears to be two Jehovah's in
the Old Testament, so they labeled one of them Metatron-- a celestial being
whose name is his Master's.

Well; Metatron is a bit of an enigma because he speaks for God, speaks
about God, and speaks as God; so for all practical intents and purposes;
Metatron is a physical, audible, visual form of God.

An emissary like Metatron is a necessity because it is just too far below
Himself for the ultimate Supreme Being to associate with earthen creatures.

They sensed the presence and heard the voice. It does not say that God manifested in physical form like Satan did.

No man has seen God in the fullness of His glory, but He appeared through the OT as The Angel The Lord (His glory being greatly filtered to humans), and in the NT in The Incarnation when the Lord Jesus became a man, when He emptied Himself of His glory. Phil 2v5-11, Heb 2v17,18, 4v15.

God is invisible, God is spirit, God is not composed of atoms. YHWH is visible and the prophets have seen Him.

YHWH appears many times in the Old Testament, to Moses, Abraham, Ezekiel, Daniel, etc.

YHWH also appears in the New Testament and in person.

No one has seen the Father!

Everyone has seen the Son, the creator, YHWH.

Everything including Adam and Eve were created through the Son (YHWH) and for the Son (YHWH).

For all intents and purposes, everything we know about God is fully realized in Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the exact representation, the visible image of God Himself.

Lots of people think that the Father controls life and the universe. This is not true, the Father handed over everything to the Son.

Jesus is the Lord of heaven and earth.

You only exist for Jesus.

Its as if Jesus isn't the one true God, but the Son of the one true God. John 17:3, The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Has Jehovah ever been visible in a materialized body: i.e. an avatar?

If Jehovah's avatar is Himself in disguise, then shouldn't folks regard it with
the same degree of reverence that they regard the Jehovah of the Shema?

Deut 6:4-5 . . Hear, O Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah: and you
shall love Jehovah your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and
with all your might.

Genesis 32:30
King James Version
30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

I don't get it. Doesn't that mean that Jacob saw God face to face? How could no man hath seen God at any time?

Being seen is the very point of incarnate manifestations. Maybe it means that no man has seen the Father. Doing incarnate manifestations is not His thing.

according to John Chapter 14 Verse 10, the Father's thing seems to be while on His Heavenly Throne, He was also Omnipresent inside the physical body of Yeshua doing the talking and miracles. maybe that is why HE[the Father doing the talking] said to Philip, if you SEE Yeshua you SEE the Father and if you SEE the Father you see Yeshua!

10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you, I do not speak on My own; but the Father [[dwelling in Me]] does His works.
