...Aside

One day a teacher asked her class, “What’s the difference between
ignorance and apathy?” One defiant little boy replied, “I don’t know,
and I don’t care!”

By contrast, the Apostle Paul talks about a difference that all
Christians should know and care about, when he wrote that
salvation is

“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but
according to His Mercy He saved us, by the washing of
regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost” (Titus 3:5).

That’s quite different than how things were in time past...

...These are differences that all Christians should know and care about, lest
their ignorance and apathy adversely affect The Very Gospel Of Salvation we
must accurately present to the lost, The Gospel Of Salvation By Grace Through
faith apart from works of righteousness...

If this is Ricky with this thread the last time I contacted you by email you said something to the effect that you would call me on your way up or back from Wisconsin as you could multi-task. You failed to even task and I don't bother with people who can't do the simplest task and I also contributed to your Berean Bible Society. I also am not too much into all prophecy like Ken Lawson down in Florida suggested I pursue. That is the kind of stuff that gets me all mixed up at this time. Your stuff about prophecy is Les Feldicks' opinions. I also contributed there and spoke with someone on the phone. Of course not Les as he is too old. I got a bad taste about your group. Maybe you should read another TON of Charles Spurgeons' work. I still have your email reference to that. As Aunt Bea and Barney once told Andy, "Maybe YOU should go to church more often". Well you did email. But we had talked before and I was very disappointed with you and still am. Cutesey little jokes.

I like that. :giggle:

Amen on that. It is amazing how many people run to the OT to justify their modern day lifestyles and false doctrines. Jesus built upon the OT to form a better way. It is better because it completed what was begun in the OT.

It is foolish to live in the basement when there is a fully furnished house overhead. It is wrong to not acknowlege the finished work of Jesus.

The Gospel Of Salvation By Grace Through
faith apart from works of righteousness...
Yes.

I will look at your video if it isn't too long. Godspeed.

OIC, it's a 30-page magazine. I saw stuff about how it began with the Jew. I believe Jesus is the door for everyone and that there is no difference anymore.

Galatians 3:28
“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”

I don't think faith in the salvation Christ offers wipes out the need to live for Christ. We do the work Christ tells us to do, not for salvation but because we have faith in all Christ tells us.

Yeah building houses on sand never works no matter how many circles the author goes in I. It’s e there’s always abo three verses then king king explaination a references to several teachers ect but the first part is to remove the things God said for believers to repent of and to start doing this grace fellow believes paul preached a different gospel than Jesus preached he’s said it many times but like your referencing it will end in calamity

“And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

( that’s a work not grace lol Jesus must have been a works teacher therefore not for you that’s silly I know but it’s the foundation of this hypergrace anything Jesus said to do or not do is a work grace means there is nothing to do ect that’s how they remove the gospel and claim grace )

Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: he is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:46-49‬ ‭KJV‬‬

calamity and ruin awaits those who try to create an alternate route to God

I don't think faith in the salvation Christ offers wipes out the need to live for Christ. We do the work Christ tells us to do, not for salvation but because we have faith in all Christ tells us.
We should consider how our deeds are going to impact salvation though

“But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; ( it’s possible for us to treasure up wrath for ourselves )

Who will render to every man according to his deeds: to them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

but unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

but glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: for there is no respect of persons with God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭2:5-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Every time the new testsment speaks of judgement it’s according to what we do and we should fear and repent

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:10-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:12-13‬ ‭

We have to repent of the flesh deeds we do and say they don’t matter a

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:19-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We have to repent of those things and begin to show these things

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:22-26‬ ‭

What we do matters to salvation it always has and will we have the gift of repentance and forgiveness now remission of sin so we can repent when we have done something wrong and have it washed away before judgement but what we do is the most important thing to salvation it comes from what we first believe as a seed and later it bears fruit
