Urgent: A friend is scheduled for surgery

A friend is scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning. Please pray for Steve. He is diabetic and his surgeon says the wound in his foot is infected. It sounds like he might remove a bone or portion thereof in his foot. I'm afraid that he'll never walk again!. Please pray that no bone or serious amount of tissue is removed and the infection is gone.

Im well aware of these types of situations place your hands on his foot and pray out to God. Diabetes can be a wreck. Philippians 4:6 NKJV

Thank you all so much for all of your prayers!
Steve is back at his home recovering. He had a portion of one bone in his foot removed and it is still infected. His podiatrist is hopeful for it to heal back to normal. He has a ways to go, but the damage was not as bad as it could have been. Another concern is that muscle atrophy will be extensive since he is not supposed to walk until his feet heal and close completely. He appreciates your prayers for him. Please continue to pray as often as you think of him. I will check back here to keep you informed of any changes.
