A dog can't give consent so that's a false equivalency
Personally I can't think of any reason not to allow polygamy as long as everyone involved consents.
The tribe in Papua New Guinea where the women have multiple husbands
I think it comes across as arrogant to poop on other people's cultures because they don't line up with your religious beliefs
Also it comes across as super arrogant to try to tell other people that you don't have the right to not follow my religious principles
Also if you want to pass laws on the bible, that's going to require a great deal of cherry picking. Do we start stoning people from blasphemy again?
Tell me how well has that tribe advanced over the last few centuries.

The traditional nuclear family is the building block of all successful societies, and societies go into rapid decline when they stray from the traditional norms and values.

"I distrust those people who know so well what God wants them to do, because I notice it always coincides with their own desires." Susan B. Anthony

Hummm Susan B Anthony was against abortion, wonder where she got that idea... She was raised as a Quaker, pretty strict beliefs there. Better try again.

Israel are apostates who rejected the covenant of Christ so I don't see how that's relevant here
Israel also went around murdering everyone who didn't worship Yahweh so there's that.

American law was copied pretty much word for word from British law. British law was copied almost word for word from Roman law which in turn was copied from Greek law. American law is based on the laws codified by Pagans.
That would not be completely correct, much of British common law was derived from Hebrew scriptures.

The gay community's mantra is "love is love" right? So what about MAPS? Are they wrong? Who says they are or aren't? You're attracted to who you are attracted to. What if you are attracted to your neighbors dog or horse? If love is love, if you can be attracted to whatever you want to be, then MAPS are not wrong for what they feel. Just change the name and make it more tolerable.
is the horse attracted back? No. So, not the same and its really sad that you woudl have to stoop so low to claim that its somehow the same.

There is absolute merit to the slippery slope argument and we can see the evidence presently. There has been an assault for the past 60 years on cultural norms, morals and values.

How do you know?? Love is love. If that's the bar, who are you to say it's wrong? Same with MAPS, you can't say it's wrong. If attraction is the standard, how can you call it wrong? It shouldn't be against the law, that's discrimination.

Correct that's a perfect example of the slippery slope fallacy.
We allow A happen then this will surely lead to B happening when there's no logical reason to come to this conclusion
Also as I mentioned earlier, an animal can't give consent so that's also a false equivalency fallacy

comparing tow people's loving committed relationship to 'shagging a cow' isn't disagreeing. it is sick and hateful

Stop the hysterics. I said if your mantra is "love is love" then that can go down a bad path. We have people dressing up like dogs, how far a leap do you think that is?! Interesting how you and Dude side stepped the term MAP.

No, they are not doing okay, polygamy in that society is a way of distributing wealth and no they are not doing okay, socially, psychologically and economically.

They have not changed nor developed and the are trapped in a system that is oppressive.

I see you're doubling down on the slippery slope thing. Also, if consenting adults want to dress up like dogs how was that harming anyone?

A slippery slope is not a fallacy when the slope is real.

Go read about how societies decline, it is well documented.
