Wednesday 11-30-22 4th. Day Of The Weekly Cycle, Kislev 5, 5783 70th. Fall Day

Isaiah 59

1 Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.

4 None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

5 They hatch cockatrice' eggs, and weave the spider's web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.

6 Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.

7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.

8 The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.

9 Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness.

10 We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noon day as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men.

11 We roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us.

12 For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them;

13 In transgressing and lying against the Lord, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.

14 And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.

15 Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.

16 And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.

17 For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak.

18 According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.

19 So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.

20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord.

21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.

2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
This is an important piece of Scripture right here Folks -------

Unbelievers and False Christians who are unbelievers as well -----think that when they Pray to God their prayers are heard and answered by God -----

So here is the thing -------God Does actually Hear their Prayers ---as God knows and hears everything we do -----but their sin keeps His face hid from Hearing for Answering their prayers ------God wants to hear to answer our prayers but you must receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour for that to happen -----

This is not Preached in any main stream Churches ----that I have attended -----everyone is told that God hears and answers your prayers -----

This is false Doctrine ----God hears and answers the prayers of the Righteous ----as long as they follow the right protocol for getting the prayers answered ------

Scripture lays out the protocol ----

We must Pray His Will not our Will ----

We are to forgive all who have wronged us --unforgiveness will block your prayer -----

We cannot Doubt that our Prayer will not be answered ----Doubt Blocks your prayer ------

we must believe that we have Received our answer as soon as we pray it -----God already knows what we will be asking of Him so His answer is there already for us -----

We pray with the wrong Motive

Some scripture here -----

James 4:3
New Living Translation
And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure.

1 John 5:14-15 (NET)
5:14 And this is the confidence that we have before him: that whenever we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us in regard to whatever we ask, then we know that we have the requests that we have asked from him.

John 15:7
If you remain in Me and My Words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

Mark 11:24
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

John 9:31
We know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He hears him.

John 16:23
In that day you will no longer ask Me anything. Very truly I tell you, My Father will give you whatever you ask in My Name.

James 1:6
But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt

Mark 11:25 NIV
25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Love, Walter and Debbie
“And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in mine house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord GOD fell there upon me.

And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain. He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary?

but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations. And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall. Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door. And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here. So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.

And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.

Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.

He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.

Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz. Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man?

turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these. And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east. Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man?

Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.

Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭8:1, 4, 6-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And he ( Jesus ) shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭8:14‬ ‭

My View is
If people were informed Properly as to the Truth on How to get God to Hear and Answer their Prayers --maybe some unbelievers would receive Jesus in their hearts and adhear to the Scriptures to get their prayers answered but unfortunately Ministers do not preach the Truth about how to get answered prayer nor do they tell people their sins keeps God's Face Hid from them so He doesn't hear to answer --People are being misinformed by the very people they trust to speak the truth of the Word ------

The Scriptures are constantly being watered down and sugar coated and twisted to suit the need of the Church to pay its bills -----scared to preach the truth for fear of loosing the people -----less money coming in -----sad but true ----

The Church is a Business today ----the need for money out ways the Truth being Preached ------that is how I see that

yes amen I wasn’t intending to glorify you just acknowledging you offered a good post

“nor do they tell people their sins keeps God's Face Hid from them so He doesn't hear to answer”

Wait wait , did God hear David’s prayer who had coveted uriah thebhittites wife , gazed on her nakedness , committed adultery with and impregnated another man’s wife , then lied and plotted , and schemed to trick Irish to think it was his baby to cover his own. Sins and eventually ordered the death of Uriah a godly man of Israel ? Did God not hear this prayer because David sinned ?

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: According unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: And my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: That thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; And in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: And in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; That the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

Hide thy face from my sins, And blot out all mine iniquities.

Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy holy spirit from me.

Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with thy free spirit. Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; And sinners shall be converted unto thee.

For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: Thou delightest not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: A broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭51:1-13, 16-17‬ ‭

Did God hear David’s prayer ? Notice how David’s prayer is him acknowledging I’m not able , I’m nothing but a sinner I’ve always been a sinner , so forgive me lord blot out my sins hide your face from my sins

Wash me , cleanse me by your mercy and your abundant kindness you create a clean heart in me and the. I will be able to uphold and help sinners learn your ways ?

Remember there’s a New Testament given and that jesus gave his own perfect life for a purpose

“I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.”

“Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, And whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭4:6-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul’s referring to this

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no guile.

When I kept silence, my bones waxed old Through my roaring all the day long. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: My moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.

I acknowledged my sin unto thee, And mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; And thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: Surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭32:1-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

brother it’s when we refuse to acknowledge our sins and iniquity that we become dead and blind and in danger

if God didn’t hear the prayer of a sinner no one could ever be saved or have thier prayer heard our testament isn’t based on sin it’s based on repentance and remission of sins through Jesus Christ

Our testament is based on the mercy David knew and asked for and received from God

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:3, 6-7‬

We’ve all already been deemed sinners by scripture mankind as a whole. We can’t put that cat back in the bag.

a now we need to acknolwedge that truth and repent , turn to Jesus and the gospel which creates a clean heart , and renews a right spirit , and becomes how God is able to heal us and make us different people who lose thier will to continue on in sin , and are given Gods Will expressed in the gospel that they just hear and believe to be saved

because we’re already sinners it’s now become about repentance and remission of sins man’s righteousness and ability to maintain a relationship with God failed miserably now we need the mediation of Jesus Christ to restore that relationship

God hears the prayers of sinners who are repenting and seeking a new beginning built in a better way to save sinners by calling then to repentance and faith in Christ fornthier salvation and relationship with thier God rather than the self righteous who are actually simply refusing to acknolwedge their own sins and repent and learn better ways and only think they are right

We need to acknolwedge our sins to God and he will hear and know everything we say and do Christ took sin out of the way now each person can be judged according to their own deeds based upon thier faith in Jesus Christ

My point there is we need to look away from what we’ve done before and look where David was looking to Gods mercy and ability to change us by his Will expressed in the gospel

a Jesus was friends with sinners he called them close to him so they could hear and be saved.

i really don’t have disagreement with what your saying my point is if we’re focused on our sin and how that’s making God not able to hear us then we are caught in the trap of the law meant for this

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

that’s why he could hear them they were under that law that’s made to impute every transgression and hold the world guilty without mercy or atonement . They had no remission even thier sacrofoces weren’t remission but instead a constant reminder that they were sinners who required a constant sacrifice

“But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:3-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

At his meant they always had sin between they and God and it stifled thier relationship because of the law designed to make them guilty sinners without any hope on thier own

abut now Jesus has come and she’s the true blood of the remission of sins offering repentance and righteousness by faith in Jesus Christ believing his gospel

“and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:46-48‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it’s why hypergracers and those who believe the gospel of the kingdom disagree so much indeed the first thing that is given to a believer in the gospel is remission of thier sins and an imputation of Christs righteousness just based on tbier true belief and confessing him as thier lord

at that point God isn’t seeing thier sins but is seeing what Christ did to remit thier sins

Then thier faith is going to be tested and tried like a refiners fire and either they will embrace repentance and the righteousness of Christ in the gospel or they will not embrace the gospel and continue serving the sin that left them blind and deaf and desolate

awe need to actually accept the remission of our sins Jesus offered and the imputation of his righteousness when we first believe that solves the issue of God not hearing a sinner

That is not what this scripture is about ----it is saying that because we are born with the sin Nature we are away from God and He hears our prayers in our condition but He cannot answer the prayers because we are away from Him and our sins keep His face hid from us --------

This has nothing to do with us focusing on our sins we commit ---it has to do with a Nature Change ----that what this Scripture is talking about -----Unbelievers are Sinners and are away from God ---their iniquity SIN Nature and their sins keep God from hearing to answer the prayers of sinners ------

In the Old Testament sinners ---had to shed the blood of Animals to have their sins forgiven for 1 year then they had to repeat that -----over and over each year -----only then would God be able to hear their prayers to answer ------and only for the year that their sins were forgiven ---

and that was only for the Jews ----The Gentiles were never included in the animal blood sacrifices of the forgiveness of sins --------

Today we receive Jesus who took our sins and by receiving Him into our hears we are acceptable to have our prayers answered -----today we have a Nature Change by and through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit ----and are deemed Saints in God's eyes ------and are able to have our prayers heard and answered by God ------Unbelievers have their prayers heard but God does not answer ------

David was God's Chosen ---and David had to partake in animals blood Sacrifices to have his sin forgiven for a year ---for God to hear His prayers to answer ------David was a worshiper of God ------

This is part of Isaiah 59 -----this is talking about our sin Nature ---we are to repent ----turn from our wicked ways ----and verse 20 is the coming of the Redeemer ---who is Jesus the Messiah

Isaiah 59 NIV

Sin, Confession and Redemption
59 Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save,
nor his ear too dull to hear.
2 But your iniquities have separated
you from your God;

your sins have hidden his face from you,
so that he will not hear.

3 For your hands are stained with blood,
your fingers with guilt.
Your lips have spoken falsely,
and your tongue mutters wicked things.
4 No one calls for justice;

no one pleads a case with integrity.
They rely on empty arguments, they utter lies;
they conceive trouble and give birth to evil.
5 They hatch the eggs of vipers
and spin a spider’s web.
Whoever eats their eggs will die,
and when one is broken, an adder is hatched.
6 Their cobwebs are useless for clothing;
they cannot cover themselves with what they make.
Their deeds are evil deeds,
and acts of violence are in their hands.
7 Their feet rush into sin;
they are swift to shed innocent blood.
They pursue evil schemes;
acts of violence mark their ways.
8 The way of peace they do not know;
there is no justice in their paths.
They have turned them into crooked roads;
no one who walks along them will know peace.
So justice is far from us,
and righteousness does not reach us.
We look for light, but all is darkness;
for brightness, but we walk in deep shadows.
10 Like the blind we grope along the wall,
feeling our way like people without eyes.
At midday we stumble as if it were twilight;
among the strong, we are like the dead.
11 We all growl like bears;
we moan mournfully like doves.
We look for justice, but find none;
for deliverance, but it is far away.
12 For our offenses are many in your sight,
and our sins testify against us.
Our offenses are ever with us,
and we acknowledge our iniquities:
13 rebellion and treachery against the Lord,
turning our backs on our God,
inciting revolt and oppression,
uttering lies our hearts have conceived.
14 So justice is driven back,
and righteousness stands at a distance;
truth has stumbled in the streets,
honesty cannot enter.
15 Truth is nowhere to be found,
and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey.
The Lord looked and was displeased
that there was no justice.
16 He saw that there was no one,
he was appalled that there was no one to intervene;
so his own arm achieved salvation for him,
and his own righteousness sustained him.
17 He put on righteousness as his breastplate,
and the helmet of salvation on his head;
he put on the garments of vengeance
and wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak.
18 According to what they have done,
so will he repay
wrath to his enemies
and retribution to his foes;
he will repay the islands their due.
19 From the west, people will fear the name of the Lord,
and from the rising of the sun, they will revere his glory.
For he will come like a pent-up flood
that the breath of the Lord drives along.[a]
20 “The Redeemer will come to Zion,
to those in Jacob who repent of their sins,”
declares the Lord.

21 “As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—from this time on and forever,” says the Lord.

So God didn’t hear David the sinners prayer and answer it ?

I acknowledged my sin unto thee, And mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; And thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭32:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

your saying when David confessed his sins to God and asked for Gods mercy and for God to cleanse his heart and make him right . God heard David but didn’t answer him because he had coveted , committed adultery , lied and plotted and ordered an innocent man’s execution who was a faithful israelite ?

Are you saying David didn’t do those things? Or that God didn’t answer David’s prayer because of his sins ?

In the Old Testament sinners ---had to shed the blood of Animals to have their sins forgiven for 1 year then they had to repeat that -----over and over each year -----only then would God be able to hear their prayers to answer ------and only for the year that their sins were forgiven ---

why do you think that ?

“But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:3-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Is that conclusion true ? Or are you going to explain how it isn’t ?

And is this Jesus commanding this to Moses ?

“And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day. And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.”
‭‭Numbers‬ ‭15:32, 35-36‬ ‭KJV‬‬

hard to now later forgive him no matter how many animals you kill huh ?

Or this angel set over the law ?

“Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭23:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I am so impressed that this became a christian thing as well as a jewish thing.
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD.

Read the title of this post and had to comment. Israel is the physical example of the do's and don't and how the Lord reacts.

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:3-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I say
This is the first part of the Scripture you quote ------

Hebrews 10

Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

10 For since the Law has merely a rude outline (foreshadowing) of the good things to come—instead of fully expressing those things—it can never by offering the same sacrifices continually year after year make perfect those who approach [its altars].

2 For if it were otherwise, would [these sacrifices] not have stopped being offered? Since the worshipers had [a]once for all been cleansed, they would no longer have any guilt or consciousness of sin.

3 But [as it is] these sacrifices annually bring a fresh remembrance of sins [to be atoned for],

4 Because the blood of bulls and goats is powerless to take sins away.

I say -------So Here we see that the Israelites couldn't be sin free forever like we are today they could never be free of feeling guilty ---so knowing that they had to atone for their sins every year -it was a reminder that they were sinners --and had to atone for them once a year -------so the having to atone kept their sins in their minds ---it was always present in their conscious ----which was a good thing ---in my view ---

YA --I should maybe have said covered their sins their sins were not forever forgiven but covered up so they could come to God ------see verse 34 here from Leviticus 16 below

34 This shall be a permanent statute for you, so that atonement may be made for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year.” So he did just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

----The laws of Atonement
Leviticus 16:29-34

Amplified Bible

An Annual Atonement

29 “This shall be a permanent statute for you: in the seventh month (nearly October) on the tenth day of the month you shall [a]humble yourselves [by fasting] and not do any work, whether the native-born or the stranger who lives temporarily among you;

30 for it is on this day that atonement shall be made for you, to cleanse you; you will be clean from all your sins before the Lord.

31 It is a Sabbath of solemn rest for you, and you shall humble yourselves; it is a permanent statute.

32 So the priest who is anointed and ordained to serve and minister as priest in his father’s place shall make atonement: he shall wear the holy linen garments,

33 and make atonement for the Holy Sanctuary, and he shall make atonement for the Tent of Meeting, and for the altar [of burnt offering in the court].

He shall also make atonement for the priests and for all the people of the assembly.

34 This shall be a permanent statute for you, so that atonement may be made for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year.” So he did just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

I say
Now again here we are taking about God hearing our prayers to answer them ------so the israelits who atoned for their sins once a year were able to Pray and have God answer their prayers because - their sins were purged for that time ----so they were right with God during that time period-----

Hebrew word for atonement
Old Testament Hebrew Lexical Dictionary
Strong's #3722 - כָּפַר
Transliteration
kâpha
1) to cover, purge, make an atonement, make reconciliation

1b1) to cover over, pacify, propitiate

1b2) to cover over, atone for sin, make atonement for

1b3) to cover over, atone for sin and persons by legal rites

Right so you see how of their sins weren’t gone ever , that’s different than this

“To give knowledge of salvation unto his people By the remission of their sins,”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭1:77‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“for this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭26:28‬ ‭

“and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:47‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭10:43‬ ‭

This is the covenant that I will make with them After those days, saith the Lord, ( Jesus ) I will put my laws into their hearts, And in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.( that’s why he hears Christian’s prayers is all I was saying not because we first become “ sinless “ but because of Jesus taking our sins upon himself and our faith in that )

Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. ( not the ot but new )

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:16-20, 22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

what I was saying is we have to accept his sacrifice for our sins and then we have a new nd living way to enter into his presence not this way this is not where we find God

For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, and the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more: (for they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart: and so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:18-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Im pretty sure you understand what chapter that’s referencing in the ot law , it’s when God spoke from the Mount the Ten Commandments( I believe it’s exodus 19 but if I’m wrong about the chapter I apologize )

But if you notice it’s saying “ you have not come to that Mount “ in tbat chapter In exodus he begins telling the people “ don’t come near the mountain don’t touch it , don’t try to come those to me stay far away and then earthquakes and there’s a pillar of fire and black smoke so thick no one can see in , his voice terrifies them even Moses is shaking in his sandals terrifying it would be for anyone in that day

Thier response to the commandments he spoke was this pay attention to what they said and what the lord said

this is after the day of assembly

“Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die.
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭5:25KJV‬‬

The law is going to always be given in that disposition but the gospel is the opposite what I mean is if we hear gods word in the gospel and not the law ot becomes this opposite thing

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

as opposed to

“ if we hear gods word we’ll die for sure”

One is going to draw sinners near to God men can teach and heal them like this

“Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭15:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

as opposed to

“and be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death: there shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through;

whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount. And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭19:11-13, 21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Do you see how he’s keeping them at a distance with a warning of certain death ? And then here he’s calling then to come close and cling to him

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:28-30‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If you really examine the gospel and the law you find this pattern from the start

“And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden,

and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2:8-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This when the gospel is preached

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And this when the law was given

“See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭30:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Anyways brother I appreciate the conversation for sure

Have no idea why you are going on -----my point was about God hearing to answer Isarel's prayers and in order to do that their sins Had to be atoned for ---otherwise the scripture clearly says that SIN HIDES GOD"S FACE FROM US -----So the Isrealites were able to have their Prayers heard by God and answered because they had annual atonement which purged their sins so God could hear and answer their prayers ----that was my pint in this thread ------Period ---

All Unbelievers cannot according to Scripture have their prayers heard and answered by God ----God cannot entertain Sin -----Sin hides His face from them -----according to Scripture -----Point made

And this is not preached to people in the pews of Churches --People are assuming God hears all peoples prayers and that is False Doctrine according to Scripture ----- do with that what you will -----

Blessing and have a great day :)

I think that 1 Cor 2 explains the difference in the natural man, and the spiritual man pretty well.

All Glory for my post belongs to the Holy spirit who directs my writings ------so God gets the Glory for His truth being Preached ------

My View is
If people were informed Properly as to the Truth on How to get God to Hear and Answer their Prayers --maybe some unbelievers would receive Jesus in their hearts and adhear to the Scriptures to get their prayers answered but unfortunately Ministers do not preach the Truth about how to get answered prayer nor do they tell people their sins keeps God's Face Hid from them so He doesn't hear to answer --People are being misinformed by the very people they trust to speak the truth of the Word ------

You probably understand 1 Cor 2:14 differently than I do, but to my understanding, the natural man, before he has been born again, cannot pray to a spiritual God, nor repent of breaking one of God's spiritual laws, that he cannot discern, and thinks them to be foolishness.

“All Glory for my post belongs to the Holy spirit who directs my writings ------so God gets the Glory for His truth being Preached ------“

yes amen I wasn’t intending to glorify you just acknowledging you offered a good post

The content of your whole post is filled with "eternal salvation gained by our good works" which is a false doctrine.

The words, salvation=delivered, saved=delivered, save=deliver

Those people that God gave to his Son to be delivered (saved) on the cross for eternal heaven was a one time deliverance (salvation), but those that have been born again have received many deliverances here in this present world, by their good works. and by their repenting of the sins that they commit.

a Jesus was friends with sinners he called them close to him so they could hear and be saved.
This terminology of "saved" would indicate being saved (delivered) while they live in this present world.

When a born again child of God commits a sin, it separates them from their fellowship with God, temporary, until they repent. The natural man, who has not been born again, cannot repent of breaking a spiritual law of God, that he cannot discern, and thinks it to be foolishness.(1 Cor 2:14).

When a born again child of God commits a sin, it separates them from their fellowship with God, temporary, until they repent.

This is false Doctrine -----when a person becomes born again their sins past --present and future are forgiven by the shedding of the blood of Jesus -----and your always connected to God because the Holy Spirit dwells in you ---You have Christ in you all the time -----The Holy spirit is God ---so your never away from God when a believer misses the mark ------

When a born again person sins the Holy Spirit Convicts that person of their sin and the person is to confess the sin ---
Why -------because it reminds us that we are still weak in the flesh and by confessing our sin when it takes place we are acknowledging that we need to do better and call on God's Grace to help us in our weak moments and to stay out of sin ------

God's Grace is not a licence TO sin ---it is there to help us stay out of SIN ------Jesus is full of Grace ----Grace and Truth came by way and through Jesus Christ ---

God said to Paul ----
