This strange dream of his could also be caused by a lack of sleep. In April 2021, I didn't sleep well, and had a mental health breakdown at ~3:33 AM Thought that the 3:33 was a holy time to have a breakdown or something like a miracle, but was just a lack of sleep. So, my folks took me to the hospital, which I stayed for 3-4 days.

Here is the cool part though: One gal there had an IV machine pumping 333 mg/hr of medicine into her body. Her name was Esperanza. That's Spanish for hope. Another guy in his 20s with curly hair yelled "I AM" to me after I asked his name. That is one of God's many names. Kinda floored me that a guy with depression who didn't speak much said this. Maybe God spoke through him, so I prayed that he got better, and he hugged me with a warm hug. Felt like God was embracing me.

So, while my mental health breakdown in April wasn't a miracle, the two people in the hospital ward that I met after my breakdown seemed to be God speaking to me, to have hope. To this day, I feel that God gave me hope to improve myself, and better my mental health. So far, 2022 is going amazing, much better than 2018-2021. Honestly, 2022 is one of the best years in my life.
I been getting enough sleep nothing really unordinary. Happy you are doing much better though.

Hmm, strange. Maybe it was God speaking to you, telling you to say Jesus' name or something. We both encountered God one way or another.

That's a good point.
I went through some tragic times with losing family and had trouble sleeping well. Your insight about those lucid nightmares makes lots of sense. I had seriously bad dreams.
The occasional ones that seemed demonic, I think was just like I explained and perhaps the traumas too. I prayed out loud when awaking. After staying awake a while, I thought, why would I be experiencing this in a dream, but absolutely nothing when awake? I know what it's like to be attacked. Wouldn't the attacks happen when awake if it occurred when asleep? Of course. Since they didn't on these occasions, I realized that sometimes dreams can be convincing.

Speaking of which, I stayed up and did more tasks. I need to get up early. Later

I'm not one to put too much thought into dreams or interpretations, but this dream was different and felt different.

I was in a living room setting but immediately felt like the gravity had been increased. Hard to keep my head up, but I felt the urge to move towards the door. As I opened the door, I remembered an extremely dark entity trying to push its way into the room. It got extremely heavy at this point, and a clash between the dark and rooms light. It was a horrible tension, and I couldn't hardly stand, but even in my dream, my faith came forth. I remember immediately praying to Jesus and yelling His name.

I then woke up in a semi-conscious state only to realize I was invoking the name of Jesus like I was in the dream but vocally in real life. After doing so twice, I woke up completely, my heart racing, and it took me a while before going back to sleep.

I do not dream hardly ever, or at least dreams I can remember, but this one was like none I have ever had.

I thought it was interesting, to say the least so I would share it.
I've had dreams with similar elements to that. Even including the demonic entity trying to get in through the door as I held it closed, angels, demons, praying to Jesus. I wouldn't quickly dismiss it as just another dream. My dream occurred after I had prayed for something to happen for someone and the prayer was being granted, but while the prayer was being fulfilled I needed to keep the door closed. After that, the demonic entity appeared in my dreams 2-3 more times, but was always outside of my house. There's a message here I think.

Wow. The more I share this the more confirmation it receives as being something legitimate. Others have had similar dreams.

Thank you for sharing. I appreciate the insight that was given by others. Try to fill your mind with the Bible's words before you go to sleep. Otherwise, you REBUKED IT IN THE NAME OF JESUS, and you came out of that dream. Demons are real stay vigilant with a view to prayer! Colossians 4:2-6, Luke 21:36-38 May you have peace!

Thank you, I believe there was something to it especially when others have had similar dreams and the inspiration given was beautiful but also information with my final draft on a critique of a Deliverance (from demons) Ministers book.

No nothing out the norm.
That's good. There are times that I have experienced way too many circumstantial coincidences. I realized that either I wasn't walking with the Lord and it was discipline; I'm not saying that is you though. When/ if I could rule that out, I thought that it must be a test. Perhaps it was demonic attack.. Either way it was motivation to flee to/ stay close to the Lord.. I don't remember any timing of the bad dreams though. I do notice that a focus on the Word before bed normally puts me in a relaxed state of mind. I pray that will be yours from here on out RoughSoul.

This is what I sometimes listen to before bed. Perhaps I already posted this. If so, here it is one last time. Good night.

I've had powerful lucid dreams, one which is still with me. Back in the day I had too much time on my hands and not a lot of sense; I had been watching many horror flicks practically every day. One night I had a nightmare in which an ugly old crone with a butcher knife was backing me into a corner. Just as she was about to do the deed I woke up screaming out loud.

I'm sure this had something to do with my activities during waking hours. It may have represented all the fears I had suppressed while I watched those movies. I believe our subconscious reveals things like this in dreams, things we aren't aware of in the waking state.

Before it is all over with, everyone will experience encounters. They are happening all over the world. They are intensifying because their time is short, Revelation 12:9, 12, 1 Peter 5:8 We just need to know that they can only do what we allow them to do, keep fighting for your right to not be invaded by commanding them to go!

Hello my friend,

A couple of things came to mind as I read your first post that may or may not help.

First was that you called on the name of Jesus. Scripture Romans 10:13 "whosoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. This not only refers to salvation but also to a 'saving' from situations

.......
!Cor 16:9 Paul wrote "for a great door (of ministry in Ephesus) is opened unto me AND there are many adversaries." Along with an open door of ministry automatically means the devil will fight back. Without any pushback from demonic activity probably means we are not doing anything that can hurt the kingdom of satan. Your critique probably threatens satan so he came against.
Moveover, satan will not waste his time pushing back on something unimportant because he is subject to time. Scripture confirms that he knows he 'has but a short time.'

So be encouraged that you had this dream as I think it means that you are doing something that scares the devil

Thank you so much. This is exactly how it felt.

I have proof read, corrected grammatical errors, and now have a final draft. If you are interested I need a few people to read it for peer review before I want to release it to the public on my blog site.

I don't know if this is right place to post this or not, but I had a seemingly ominous dream last night, and I'm wondering if anybody might have some insight into it.

In my dream, I was walking in the daytime with a teenage girl. I never really got a good look at her face in the dream, but it seemed as if she was in her mid-teens, like somewhere around 14 or 15 years old. Suddenly, we were surrounded or encircled by a group of men. but none of them ever got too close to us. Instead, they all seemed to stay about 10 yards or so away from us. One of them spoke to us, and told us to survey our surroundings to see if we could find an escape route. In other words, he was letting us know that he and the others intended to do us harm, and it was rather apparent in the dream that the harm would ultimately result in our deaths unless we could find some route of escape. I quickly surveyed the landscape, and I only noticed a few, small rotted-out openings in the bottom of a fence somewhere, but it looked impossible for anybody to go through those tiny openings.

Suddenly, I noticed that this teenage girl and I were standing on some sort of platform that was probably only elevated about 5 or 6 feet above the men who were surrounding us. At this point, a sort of game ensued in which the men began throwing balls at us, like those inflated kickballs that you might find at a WalMart, and the young girl and I were seeking to swat the balls back to them. It seemed as if these men were making sport of us, or just playing with us, sort of like a cat would play with a mouse before killing it, and the whole time it felt as if they fully intended to kill us at some point in time. During this "game", there were a few times where either I or the young girl missed our attempted swats at the balls, and I offered an apology to our captors. No one showed any emotion whatsoever. At one point, I got a close-up look at one of the men's faces, and I was looking to see if I could find any sort of decency or human kindness in it that I might use to our advantage while pleading with him for our release. I saw no such signs whatsoever, and I still felt as if our end would be to be murdered. At this point in time, I looked towards the young girl, and I felt compassion and worry towards her. I'm not sure if that was just a sign of me esteeming her own life above my own, even though we were both in the same predicament, of if I somehow knew that she wasn't saved, and therefore not ready to die and face the Lord. Right after this, I woke up from the dream.

When I awoke, I felt two things pretty strongly:

1. That the fear that I was experiencing in the dream was demonic in the sense that I felt the Lord reminding me to not fear those who can only kill the body, but cannot destroy both the body and the soul in hell.
2. I felt like this was some sort of ominous warning or foreboding from the Lord.

The good news, I guess, is that neither one of us actually died in the dream, even though that's where it seemed things were heading.

I did have an ominous dream about somebody else a few years ago, but, in that dream, I clearly knew the identity of the person involved, and I also knew, via the imagery that God used in the dream, what to pray for or against. In that case, nothing evil ever happened to that person, and I believe that my prayers which were prompted by that dream had a very real part to play in that outcome.

Does anybody have any I idea what this dream might mean? I definitely don't think that it was just nothing, but, instead, I definitely feel that the Lord was forewarning me of some possible future danger for both me and the girl; whoever she is or whoever she might represent. There is actually someone, a female, who has been very heavy on my heart for quite some time now, and I've been praying for her, but the seeming age of the girl in my dream wouldn't be a match.

Anybody?

Anything?

Thanks.

I'm not speaking for anything but my interpretation. After studying your words and imagery I was inspired by this thought.

The girl is a representation of a virgin, pure, and young. The church is considered to be the bride which was typically a virgin, pure, young. The church in comparison to Judaism is quite young. Mt Zion is often in reference to God and God used Peter upon this rock I will build. The Church is to be elevated. As to why she was higher than the demons. You were with her too as a reminder of,

Luke 14:11
English Standard Version

11 For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

The demons will not touch the spiritual you. The mind, spirit, and soul. Dreams are not physical realms. In humility, you will be exalted or raised up as well. She the church will take many attacks and you as a Christian will be walking in step with her. Ultimately, it goes further to internalize the elevation. You are the man and the girl. How? You are the church and the church is the bride. You must walk in the Spirit as you grow in holiness, humility, pureness, and being prepared for the return of the Groom. One day soon you will be raised up and snatched away. Similar to Lot as the men surrounded his home. He was rescued from destruction. The church will be raptured up on a day when the church is at its full number of believers.

I have had a dream or two kinda like that. It feels so real and important, but it was just a dream. Maybe it represents something happening in your real life.

Brother Roughsoul first thank you for sharing! Usually, one has two kinds of dreams 1. Awareness for self 2. An Awareness about what one is about to confront on the outside. About Number 1 Many people are just not aware about the battle between one's flesh and spirit in one's life, sometimes a dream awakes one from their sleep!! LOL (Rom 13:11-14)

I know this happened to me on more than one occasion! This nine times out of ten leads me to study a certain topic in the Bible that perhaps I need more information about so that I can walk this out better in my life. Number 2 are the best ones to have, ever have a dream about a certain house you intend to visit and when you get into your friend's house it looks exactly like you dreamed??

LOL, I did. Pretty wild I must say! Anyway, brother hope this helps you consider. and thanks again so much for all your thoughts on this matter!!
