To be Son of God, for the Jews.. is making yourself equal with God.

Child of God is different.. and this is probably more the case where those who arent Jesus are called sons of God.
The Jews wouldn’t have seen calling themselves sons of God or children of God as a problem because that’s scriptural as Jesus pointed out in John 10 and quoting Psalm 82:6 to prove claiming to be a son of God is not blasphemy.

In John 8, the Jews refer to themselves as children of God. Sons are children.

John 8
41You are doing the works of your own father.”
“We are not illegitimate children,” they protested. “The only Father we have is God himself.”

So what they were doing is actually trying to twist Jesus’ words to mean something he didn’t actually say, hence why Jesus never said “I am God” either publicly or privately. They were wanting to find reason to stone him and using lies and deception to do it.

Son.. referring to Jesus.. isn't the meaning of a parent and child so much as Son as in 'image' 'expression ' 'manifestation'.. because that is how other scripture refers to Jesus.
Mankind in general is made in the image of God. How Jesus was the exact representation of God was that he was perfectly sinless.

Yes but that doesnt make us gods...look what does , according to you son of God mean....not you know us born of the spirit to become sons of God you know son of God, the title Jesus has....what does that mean, in your view

That verse means God will bring with Jesus, at his return, those who have died in Christ for their bodily resurrection.

okay, lets look at who will come with Jesus during his return....

Matthew 26:63-64

"
But Jesus remained silent. Then the high priest said to him, “I demand in the name of the living God—tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.”

64 Jesus replied, “You have said it. And in the future you will see the Son of Man seated in the place of power at God’s right hand[i] and coming on the clouds of heaven.”[j]"...

This are christ's words during his trial....now lets see what he had previously said...

Matthew 13:36-43

"
Then, leaving the crowds outside, Jesus went into the house. His disciples said, “Please explain to us the story of the weeds in the field.”

37 Jesus replied, “The Son of Man[d] is the farmer who plants the good seed. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed represents the people of the Kingdom. The weeds are the people who belong to the evil one. 39 The enemy who planted the weeds among the wheat is the devil. The harvest is the end of the world,[e] and the harvesters are the angels.

40 “Just as the weeds are sorted out and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world. 41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will remove from his Kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42 And the angels will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s Kingdom. Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!"...

the son of man will remove (FROM HIS KINGDOM) everything that causes sin...not their his..and the righteous will shine like their Father's Kingdom....that same one that removes every sinful thing in his kingdom...now lets look at the book of Revelation 20 in the final judgement

Now lets read Revelation 20:11-12

"And I saw a great white throne and the one sitting on it. The earth and sky fled from his presence, but they found no place to hide. 12 I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God’s throne"...

so there is a single throne, and just one sitting on it, no one on his right or his left and he's Judging people...and its Godd's throne....where is Jesus...seating at the right hand of God, God coming with Jesus that doesnt mean two persons....Thats just the son of God with the glory of the Father not with the glory of the son....

Thats why Paul says God has commissioned a day where he will judge the world by the MAN he has appointed...Thats how God is coming with Jesus on his return... not two persons...a man who people saw, ate with, slapped, spat on him and they shall mourn knowing that this man was actually their only way of salvation, but after Judgement, that man wont be needed his purpose was to reconcile humanity with God, but after everything has passed, The father will be all in all (or supreme every where)....now the lamb lamb in Rev 22:3 and Rev 14:9 -12 is still supreme...

Colossians 1
15The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

John 19:33-37

Then Pilate went back into his headquarters and called for Jesus to be brought to him. “Are you the king of the Jews?” he asked him.

34 Jesus replied, “Is this your own question, or did others tell you about me?”

35 “Am I a Jew?” Pilate retorted. “Your own people and their leading priests brought you to me for trial. Why? What have you done?”

36 Jesus answered, “My Kingdom is not an earthly kingdom. If it were, my followers would fight to keep me from being handed over to the Jewish leaders. But my Kingdom is not of this world.”

37 Pilate said, “So you are a king?”
Jesus responded, “You say I am a king. Actually, I was born and came into the world to testify to the truth. All who love the truth recognize that what I say is true.”

...So Jesus admits he has a kingdom not an earthly one and where he is from he is a king....now lets see what PPaul tells Timothy

"At just the right time Christ will be revealed from heaven by the blessed and only almighty God, the King of all kings and Lord of all lords. 16 He alone can never die, and he lives in light so brilliant that no human can approach him. No human eye has ever seen him, nor ever will. All honor and power to him forever! Amen."

SO christ will be revealed by the almighty God, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords?...that doesnt make sense if these are two beings...and again no one has seen the King of Kongs and the Lord of Lords, so Pilate didnt see him?...No he saw him in his earthly flesh form....not as the Father

1st Timothy 1:17

All honor and glory to God forever and ever! He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; he alone is God. Amen. ...

The eternal King thats Jesus , we all know that upto to this point, the unseen one yes, his true from is that of the Father , who is spirit (John 4:23-24) who never dies, again the Father couldnt die so he had to make himself a body that could die for man to be saved but yes Jesus' actual form cant die...but in flesh he died

Just so you know, “the right hand of God” is known as a place of honor, status, power and authority. It isn’t a literal throne. Does God actually have a literal throne with four legs and a cushioned seat? I think we must accept that language about a throne is symbolic/figurative language.

Hebrews 1
3The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

Hebrews 12
2Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the authora and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

I think you’re going to have to make some leaps and bounds to make the Father and Son a single person.

Here’s another verse that’s crystal clear that it is God who appointed Jesus:

Acts 10
42And He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that He is the One appointed by God to judge the living and the dead.

Isiah 44:6-8
This is what the Lord says, the King of Israel
and its Redeemer—
the Lord of the Heavenly Armies is his name—[a]
I am the first and I am the last,
and apart from me there is no God
.
Who is like me? Let him proclaim
and declare it, and lay it out for himself—[b]
since he made[c] an ancient people.
And let him speak[d] future events;
let them tell him what[e] will happen.
Don’t tremble, and don’t be afraid.[f]
Didn’t I tell you and announce it long ago?
You are my witnesses.
Is there any God besides me?
There is no other Rock—
I don’t know of any.”

The first shall be last and the last first.
Jesus was last. His Spirit came first and on Mount Saini, gave Moses the ten commandments. He says who he is.He says:

Revelation 22:12
And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Jesus is God in the flesh. The spirit that was first, came last at the cross and he is inside us. This revelation is new to me too.

This is why if you have seen Jesus you have seen his Father:

John 5
19Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. 20For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed. 21For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it.22Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son,23that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.

Jesus said and did whatever he saw his Father do. If a son says and does everything he sees his father do, they are in a sense exactly the same, but distinctly different persons. This is exactly what Jesus is trying to tell them. Through Jesus is how we can know God.

Therefore, rejecting Jesus is the same as rejecting God. Do you agree with that?

I don’t wiggle out of anything or find a need to explain about Revelation 22 since I know what it means.

I gather you’re planning to interpret it to mean something else? What does Revelation 22 mean to you?

who is that on the throne?
The throne is God’s throne and the Lamb is God’s sacrifice. Revelation 22 contains information about the living water, the tree of life, the Lamb of God, and eternal life.

John 1
29The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

1 Peter 1
18For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, 19but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 20He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. 21Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.

okay we are seeing...we are going nowhere ....we will see

I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light. ...

No longer will there be a curse upon anything. For the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there, and his servants will worship him. 4 And they will see his face, and his name will be written on their foreheads. 5 And there will be no night there—no need for lamps or sun—for the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever...

John 8

“We are not illegitimate children,” they protested. “The only Father we have is God himself.”

So what they were doing is actually trying to twist Jesus’ words to mean something he didn’t actually say, hence why Jesus never said “I am God” either publicly or privately. They were wanting to find reason to stone him and using lies and deception to do it.

Mankind in general is made in the image of God. How Jesus was the exact representation of God was that he was perfectly sinless.
Sinless, exact representation of God.

That means Jesus is God. He has all the attributes.

A person's representation as a child of God is entirely different to Jesus status as Son.
