These Jews in Acts when hearing Peter's sermon accusing them of crucifying Christ, were "PRICKED" in their heart.
Before the unregenerate person has been born again, his heart is made of stone that cannot be pricked to feel guilt, The born again Jews in Acts felt guilt, and ask Peter and the other apostles, What must we do?. They were told what to do, and were accepted into the church membership.
Yeah these people both Jew and gentile who rejected him at first ?
“Then
said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do…
Luke 23:34 KJV
Unregerate this and unregenerate that
, Unregenerate ? Is that also a newly deemed word by the authority of magical grace ? I only ask
Because I can’t find a definition for that term
Are gentiles better than any guilty “ Jews “ in your eyes ? if so , consider
the same gospel sent to Israel to save them by grace through faith in chrirt the savior after was went to anyone in the world ( gentiles ) to believe with Israel and be saved
because they originally rejected it
“And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith,
preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
And
if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
Galatians 3:8-9, 16, 27-29 KJV
“Then Peter opened his mouth, and said,
Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: but in
every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: that word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judæa, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. And
we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. And
he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
While
Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that
on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.
( must be born of water and spirit )
Then
answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, (
which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.”
Acts 10:34-48 KJV
we’re all in the same boat
“Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”
Ezekiel 18:4 KJV
“The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there were any that did understand, And seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: There is none that doeth good, no, not one.”
Psalm 14:2-3 KJV
Now there’s salvation for anyone that believes in the son
“For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed
all judgment unto the Son: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
John 5:22, 24 KJV
“Then opened he their
understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus
it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
And ye are
witnesses of these things.”
Luke 24:45-48 KJV
definately jesus died and rose for our salvation, and definetely we have to hear his word and believe and actually take it seriously and keep it as we learn and become able we learn about right and wrong discernment from Jesus he’s always merciful to us but he’s always prompting us and teaching us always leading us away from sin and towards righteousness
