Just a word of advice for protecting your automobile, if you are experiencing temps at or below -10 and have no garage/shelter for your car; don't let your car just sit through the cold. Take the effort to go out and start your car up, let it idle for about 10 minutes. Do this every four hours or so.

That's a trick I learned from being stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska for two years. To keep our vehicles operational in the field, we'd idle them every 4 hours.. When temps drop below -10, I saw auto radiatiors burst from frozen antifreeze that expanded. Also, when it gets that cold, your oil can lose it's viscosity, become thick, and your battery won't have the power to turn the engine over to start it.

Whatever you do, don't leave your car outside in these temps for a couple of days. Just some words of advice, take them for what they are worth.

Arctic cold to continue in Colorado. It hit 0 degrees at about 6pm yesterday and fell to -18 overnight. Zero and below are expected thru 10am Friday morning. If your auto has to be left outside, be prepared!!!!!!!!!!!

In Canada plug-in engine warming systems are standard. This allows the engine to remain at a reasonable temperature and there is no problem with starting it. Probably not so in the States where "Global Warming" is all the rage. Just kidding.

At Ft Wainwright, Fairbanks Alaska, those engine warming systems were really mandatory. They consisted of a small electric pump that would keep the radiator antifreeze/water circulating and prevent it from freezing. Quite effective and necessary, just plug it in and the water circulates/warms.

Hold it a second, Dude just said we have become Antarctica, so why are you still using the old names like Georgia?

Is this our new flag?

NASA: Yes, it's freezing cold. No, that doesn't mean climate change is a hoax.

It is stunning to me that people would question our government. They have much better intelligence, after all they were the ones who knew that Putin blew up his own pipeline within hours of it happening. OK, maybe not the best example as it turns out that was not true. But OK, they figured out that the Pandemic came from a bat cave hundreds of miles from Wuhan rather than from the Bioweapons lab down the street. Oh wait, ok another bad example. Look the bottom line is that these conspiracy theories are dangerous. Just think about the pandemic of the unvaccinated and how all those unvaccinated were going to get sick and now we see that they are three times more likely to get sick than the vaccinated. (Wait a second, I'm hearing I got that backwards). Really? OK it seems the vaccinated were 3x more likely to get sick than the the unvaccinated, but if you got the vaccine you would not get as sick. Yes, that is it. Oh wait, really? Wow, it turns out the vaccinated are 4x more likely to die from covid than the unvaccinated.

Still we know the government though they do make mistakes they do have a good heart. Remember when Biden promised to get the deplorables to pay your college loans? Sure, that promise was only good until the election then it turned into a pumpkin. Still it shows their good heart. Just like those million jobs that were created. Yes, that also was a figment of Biden's imagination but it shows he has a good heart and wishes that a million jobs had been created.

Last night it was relatively warm and rained steady until the front hit. It was like a wall of a tornado rather than the typical gradual movement.
-30 wind chill now in WV. +/- 40mph gusts throughout the night. Last night/ morning when it hit, it sounded much stronger, but not sure how hard. I heard debrit fly into structures. It was so noisy I couldn't sleep.
The temp here dropped over 40° suddenly.
I was praying. There are trees next to lines everywhere. It has to be a miracle the power lines didn't get knocked down.

My family, automobile, and I made it through the cold snap okay. There were no power or water outages. In Colorado the temps ranged from -3 down to -18 for about a 40 hour period.

The artic cold is retreating as fast as it rolled in. Temps now at +22, up to +45 today and up to +60 in two days.

Hope all are safe and warm, have a happy and blessed Christmas!

Weather changes constantly in temperate climates, which makes another excuse for con men like him to dictate another way to steal from us. They certainly wouldn't manipulate circumstances or weather fronts to encourage that either. 😉Texas last year was pumping oil and driving trucks that angered the liberal pagan mother Gaia/ nature to send a cold storm and shut off power. If they pay her devotees like Algore, the carbon credit indulgences, maybe her wrath will be quelled.

Seriously though, the Lord is greater than all the billionaires, their companies that publish their lies and we will continue to pray.

This weather isn't new. We had the same weather pattern during the 1983 and 1989 Christmas holidays. I know there were others during the forties, fifties, and sixties. I predict another major cold snap during the 2027 or 2028 winters.
