Unlike you, I'm definitely more of a cold weather person. One reason is that I hate to sweat. I still remember the first (and last) time that I ever wore a sweater. I learned quickly why they're called "sweat-ers".
I'm right there with you on the beauty of snow. It's kind of a blanket that covers all of this world's ugliness. Cozy evenings are nice, too.
Probably my favorite thing about Winter, and this might sound weird, is that I cannot help but notice that it makes a lot of people think about death, and they therefore seem to dread it. That dread has actually worked to my advantage over the years. In other words, I've found, time and time again, that, when I encounter people who are thinking about death, it's much easier to share the gospel with them while presenting to them death's only cure, Jesus' resurrection from the dead, and the hope of eternal life, which is found only in him.
