Christ died for curses "Christ purchased our freedom and redeemed us from the curse of the Law and its condemnation by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS [crucified] ON A TREE (cross)"

Its a fallen world.. all for the glory of God. God did not do it. We did. We listen to that lie and handed over to Satan what God gave us. There is time limit on all of this. Isa 53:5. There is nothing God can not do. If God said it.. its done. He has to do it.

John 9:2-12

2 His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.

God is spirit. If you are of the spirit, water, and the blood, then you're in his image.

Ephesians 4:22-24
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

If I was made in God's Image, why did God make me autistic?
My View on this

You were Made in God's Image ----that means you are a Tri--Part Being -------you are a Spirit Being --you possess a Soul and you are housed in a Physical Body -------it also means that from the Logos Word comes the Rhema Word -----So God Spoke out Faith filled words and He Created what He said -----He Created this world by Speaking Words -----We are made in His Image ----and We have that Ability ------Our Words are things ------we can create what we say ----and it works in the Positive and Negative ===

the Hebrew Word Davar ------the Greek word is Rhema ----

https://www.thejc.com/judaism/jewish-words/davar-1.5953

Davar means "word," and it also means "thing." This fact reflects a deep facet of a Jewish world view.

Words are the creative energy of the world. God spoke, and through words brought the universe into being. We, too, create our world and the things of our lives through words.

Your Words matter ------

Proverbs 13:3 Expanded Bible
3 Those who ·are careful about what they say [L watch/guard their mouth] protect their lives,
but whoever ·speaks without thinking [L spreads their lips wide] will be ruined

Now to your Autism

Please don't blame God for what we are born with ------understanding what happened in the Garden to Adam and Eve and this world when sin crept in is crucial -----and understanding the generational curse is very important ----

God cannot entertain iniquity or sin -----Sin brings the Curse into our lives ------ and God made it very clear that if people do not repent that the Iniquity of the Father will be cast upon they children to the 3 and 4th Generation ------this is the Generational Curse ------so understanding this is very crucial -----

Many want to dismiss this issue because they don't think that a loving God would bring babies into this world with disease ---sickness and disabilities -----so again we have people blaming God when it is not-------and it is not the Sin itself that the Father did that is passed down ---it is the Iniquity of the Father that is passed on to the offspring ------

So Satan is the god of this world ---and so anyone who does not serve the one true God is serving the god of this world ------and that goes again what God wants ---you shall have no other god but me ---
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the scripture --on the Generational curse

Exodus 20:4-6------Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

4 You shall not make yourself any graven image [to worship it] or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;

5 You shall not bow down yourself to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me,

6 But showing mercy and steadfast love to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i say -----So we see here it says INIQUITY ----this -word is never talked about in Churches ------iniquity is a little different than the sin itself -----iniquity is the character of the action of sin ---Sin is the actual action ------so we are shaped in iniquity in the womb -----to sin ------we are born with a crooked," "perverted bent --twisted ----Nature"-----which can lead us into sin -------
--

scripture I was shapen in iniquity
Psalm 51:5, KJV: Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Psalm 51:5, NASB: Behold, I was brought forth in guilt, And in sin my mother conceived me.

From Strong's Hebrew word for Iniquity

Strong's Concordance
avon: iniquity, guilt, punishment for iniquity

punishment for their iniquity
the consequences of their iniquities he shall bear
,

phrases of punishment: Exodus 20:5

it is customary to explain it as meaning literally "crookedness," "perverseness," i.e. evil regarded as that which is not straight or upright, moral distortion (from `iwwah, "to bend," "make crooked," "pervert"). "to err," "go astray"; and consequently expresses the idea of error, deviation from the right path,

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I say
So many now will quote the scripture below Ezekiel 18 ---that says this below---and try to say that this counters Exodus 20:5 and it does not ----this is saying here that anyone who sins will die ------the father cannot die for the son's sins that he commits and the son cannot die for the sons the Father commits --this is different from Exodus 20 verse 5

Ezekiel 18:20
AMP
The person who sins [is the one that] will die. The son will not bear the punishment for the sin of the father, nor will the father bear the punishment for the sin of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be on himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be on himself.------

this makes it simple to understand

i say
So it seems Autism is a development disorder ---so it says here ------

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurological and developmental disorder that affects how people interact with others, communicate, learn, and behave. Although autism can be diagnosed at any age, it is described as a “developmental disorder” because symptoms generally appear in the first two years of life.

So Folks ---the Curses in Deuteronomy 28 are still in effect today --------as are the Blessing

So autism is a curse of the womb --------that is how I see that -------

you can read the whole list here at link posted below ---but for this Thread ---I am posting this one verse 18------

Deuteronomy 28:----Expanded Bible

Curses for Disobeying
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Deuteronomy 28:15-68&version=EXB

18 ·Your children [L The fruit of your womb] will be cursed, as well as ·your crops [L the fruit of your land]; the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks will be cursed.

Deuteronomy 28 ----the Blessings
This is the Blessing to counter the curse -above --------

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Deuteronomy 28&version=EXB

4 ·Your children [L The fruit of your womb] will be blessed, as well as ·your crops [L the fruit of your land]; your ·herds [L the fruit of your livestock] will be blessed with calves and your flocks with lambs.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So although this is harsh to hear -----it is part of God's Word and is not dealt with in any main stream Churches -----you cannot say that this is not so and believe other parts of the Bible -------you either believe the whole Bible or you believe none of it -------God say His Word is truth -----not just some of it but all of it -----

We Humans need to start taking responsibility for our actions and beliefs and stop playing the Blame Game with God ------

Anyone who has receives Jesus as their Lord and Saviour are now under the Blessings of God ---Jesus Defeated the Curses for Believers only --------All unbelievers remain today under the Curse of disobedience -----and Exodus 20 verse 5 is still in effect for unbelievers today ------

God is a God of Love --but He also gave us a choice to choose to be under the Curses or the Blessings and we choose the one we want to entertain ------can't blame God for our Choice -------

The good news is that Jesus took our iniquity --sins --infirmities ----and diseases --to brake the Curse of the womb == -----parents ---can break the Generational Curse by receiving Jesus before they have Children ------

----the Suffering Servant
Isaiah 53:4-5 Expanded Bible

4 But he ·took [bore] our suffering on him
and ·felt our pain for us [carried our sorrows/sickness].
·We saw his suffering
and thought God was punishing him [L …stricken and afflicted by him; C God].

5 But he was wounded for ·the wrong we did [T our transgressions];
he was crushed for ·the evil we did [T our iniquities].
The punishment, which ·made us well [brought us wholeness/peace], was given to him,
and we are healed because of his ·wounds [lacerations; T stripes; 1 Pet. 2:24]

If I was made in God's Image, why did God make me autistic?
That's a tough one. Then again why did God make a man blind from birth so that Christ would eventually heal him? And why did God literally destroy Job when there was no good reason to do so, but eventually restore to him more than what he had before?

Chances are that if you suffer tremendously in this life but cling to Christ, there will be a huge reward in eternity. The Bible reveals that Christians who suffer most on earth will also be exalted the most in eternity.

There's nothing to stop you and other Christians from praying for your healing. But healings are not guaranteed to Christians, and many good Christians have severe physical disabilities. Even Paul was given a physical disability so that Christ's grace would be manifested in his life.

Also all believers will be eventually transformed into the perfect image of Christ. Which means that they will be perfect in body, soul, and spirit (1 John 3:1-3). This will happen at the Resurrection/Rapture, when all the saints will be glorified. This is when all the saints will literally be made in the image of God our Savior.

If I was made in God's Image, why did God make me autistic?
God did not make you autistic but you would be like that because of the fall.

Adam and Eve were created in the image of God for they had an innocent nature in flesh.

But when they sinned they were not in the image of God anymore for now they had the capability to sin.

No person was in the image of God until Jesus came in flesh who is the express image of God.

And the people who are led of the Spirit acting Christlike are in the image of God.

Adam and Eve were made in perfect humanity with no physical or mental issues at all.

But after they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil then physical and mental ailments can happen along with fending for yourself for your needs food and clothing.

It is not the garden of Eden anymore so we might not get perfect physical and mental health.

But you are well enough to call upon the name of the Lord and be saved and that is what counts.

2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Some people will not get healed because they lack faith.

Some people will not get healed for they are mad at God because of their ailment.

Some people will not get healed because they will not allow the Spirit to lead them to be Christlike wanting to hold on to sin.

Which the Bible says seek you first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and food and clothing will be added on to you but can also apply to healing or any other blessing God can will give you.

There's nothing to stop you and other Christians from praying for your healing.
But healings are not guaranteed to Christians, and many good Christians have severe physical disabilities.
For the True Christian your healing is already in place -------this is a big mistake people make and preach ----Pray for your healing -----God will not answer prayers that have already have been answered by Jesus on the Cross -----

Isaiah 53:5

Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole

Notice ------when Jesus was flogged -----which are the stripes mention here ---the Blood He shed from His wounds purchased back our healing ---Physical and Spiritual healing

we are healed and made whole------this is past tense here -----healing is there in place for us already-----it has to only be received by us through our Faith in our Healer Jesus Christ ------just like Salvation is already in place --you receive Salvation that is already there in place for you -----no need to pray to have salvation ----
Isaiah 53:5 i.e. healing has come to us.

There is protocol for healing -----you cannot doubt ---healing comes on God's timing ----not our timing ==you want to be healed for right motives -----God knows our heart -----

your quote here ------But healings are not guaranteed -----

I say------unbelief is the killer of non healing ----Jesus couldn't heal some because of their unbelief in His ability to heal them ------Jesus never unguarantees what is guaranteed ---and healing is just that ------guaranteed ---you are already healed -----it is not our faith that heals us ---it is our faith in the Great Physician who is Jesus He is the only one who has the ability to heal us -----and it is there for the receiving -----healing is a done deal ----just like the freedom from sin is a done deal -----for believers

So my Autism serves as a fault but also as a good thing? I struggle with sensory issues but I am able to go through books super fast
I do believe there are real disabilities and disorders, but sometimes I think it's just that people are unique. I think you can do great things with what you have. You can read books super fast so perhaps you can use that to your advantage. I assume you also have incredible reading comprehension as well. Have you read the entire Bible yet? Do you like listening to audio books at all?

God didn't want sin and suffering to be part of His perfect creation.
Satan introduced the problems and many ask why God didn't stop satan. (That's another subject..)
But knowing that God has promised to restore, recreate you and me back into His perfect image is our precious hope.

1Th 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Your reward will far exceed the suffering.

A young man was really good looking and had lots of money, was smart and had the whole world in front of him. What should i do???
He decided to travel with some friends and went from country to country. Sex, drugs and all the worldly pleasures were part of his experience.
When he was traveling in Africa he court a deasese and became really sick. The doctors told him he would most likely die and he was so scared with so much of his life yet to live.

He believed in God and made a promise to God, "Lord if you save my life, i will give my life to You".

(God didn't cause the sickness, the sickness was a result of sin, self inflected or a result of others sin, it is sin that brings pain and death. )

God did heal him and he did change his life for a time but soon forgot his promise.

Some years latter another tragedy struck. He lost his home in a fire and he came to his knees again and decided to work in a gospel ministry. In this place Jesus is part of his life each day.

2Co 12:7-10
7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

The man born blind in the Gospel of John started just the same question exactly...

Now I know that Christians just like the Jews want to blame the patient...
But it's not the truth.

It's not your fault nor is it society at large's fault with vaccines or something else.

It's so that the Glory of God may be revealed.

And I know that this answer confuses many...and many others dismiss it as religious mumbo jumbo...

And if you truly understand the answer....
Well, let's just say I have trouble with it as well.

It's kinda along the lines of:
"I left the 99 to find the one, and you're the one. "
But so much more than that.

If I was made in God's Image, why did God make me autistic?

Depending upon where on you are on the spectrum, autism isn't necessarily
a bad thing. Take for example Temple Grandin, author of "Thinking In
Pictures". Temple is awkward in social settings, while a veritable genius
when it comes to designing mechanical structures. Temple is different, but
she's not less.

And then there are two middle aged brothers down the street from me
whom I've known since their kindergarten days. They're both on the
spectrum and it has really worked to their advantage as programmers.
They're different too; but not less.

1 Cor 7:24 . . Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide
with God.

Ergo: Bloom where you're planted.

It is difficult in this world to suffer. Our difficulty is deepened, however, when rather than it leading one into deeper fellowship and affection with and for God, it serves to produce doubt in the child of God as to God's goodness and power. I'm sharing because I don't want this to become true of you.
So perhaps we can view your imperfection from God's point of view. 2 Corinthians 4:7 says...

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Our weakness is a means to God's glorification. It insures that in our pride we do not rob God of His glory. It enables us to let our light so shine among men that they see our good works but still glorify, not us, but our Father in heaven.

Others here have added wonderful insight on the subject as well. Closer dependence on God, an increased and manifest nearness of God are among the benefits accrued to us as we work through our suffering to find the face of God. At no time are our prayers to God more earnest or nearer His heart than when offered in our brokenness. And at no time, perhaps, are we more like Christ than when we endure suffering for the joy set before us.
As with the legion of saints before you may you truly learn to find joy in suffering for the cause of Christ.
I have refined you in the furnace of suffering. Isaiah 48:10b

Since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through
Whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the
glory of God. Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces
perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because
God has poured out His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, Whom He has given us. Romans 5:1-5

That's really simple:

We all experience the effects and manifestations of the Fall. Autism is one such effect.

You were indeed created in God's image, but that doesn't mean you are perfect, any more than it means anyone else is perfect. Further, it is not solidly defensible that the physical body is the image of which God speaks.
amen

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
‭‭John‬ ‭4:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.

There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; ( genesis 2: 7)

the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. ( Luke 23:46, )

Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:42, 44-46, 49-50‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus laid down his natural body his flesh and blood as atonement but his spirit ?

“And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭23:46‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And now

“And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭10:44‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That'd help with the anxiety section of my autism, yes, but the sensory issues and my lack of social skills wouldnt be helped much
Learn to accept yourself for who you are first then practice makes perfect and what I mean by that is practice a behavior you would like to improve. If you feel uncomfortable around people, then try being with them a few minutes at a time and do it over and over until you start to feel comfortable and then go to the next thing you would like to see improvement on.

I'd make a list of what things you feel you would like to be better at in your social skills and relationships and then practice doing what you would want to improve. It's hard I know and not because I have autism because I don't but even in my life I have to push myself out of my comfort zone to be able to do things I am not good or comfortable with and I have found the more I practice it like public speaking the better I have become at doing it and I can tell you it is still something I don't really like or want to do.

I hope this helps a little bit at least.
